Saw some reviews mentioning failure of the discs to stick to the sander , I have a makita cordless orbital sander and it’s actually quite difficult to remove a worn disc , the holes line up nicely and I’ve rigged up a dust free sanding system with a Screwfix vacuum cleaner and a hose kit purchased from Amazon, well pleased with my purchase
So far holding up well what I’m using them for is old layers of various marine paints on a boat hull not bad at all keeping the dull ones for later use
Make sure you have a good sanding pad and these will stick really well. They have a good fluffy side for your pad to grip. They last well so happy with them.
Using these sanding discs with a Dewalt DCW210N and they stick without issue; no discs flying off at 12k OPM (max speed) like other reviewers have stated.
Not sure about longevity/durability as yet. Can’t go wrong as they are excellent value.
I use load’s of sand paper cheap it clog’s up and doesn’t last very long, so I thought I’d try a different supplier and glad I did this new sand paper is brilliant it never clog’s up. I will definitely be using this site again.
These discs are great value for the price. They come in a range of grits which is very useful to have and they do a great job. I can’t really comment on durability because I never purchased expensive alternatives for comparison. But these do me just fine for my diy woodworking projects. Can’t complain. Can recommend for the diy enthusiast!
I’ve had no problems with these sanding disks flying off – In fact I need to use pliers to get them off the backing plate of my rotary sander which is a budget end Erbauer ERO400 that works a real treat. I’ll be back for more of these in the future.
I sanded down the gloss from all my hallway skirting boards, removed from wall and about 20m of boards. Took about 45 minutes, and only used six pads, they barely gummed up with gloss. Overall I’m really impressed, and I would say I’d buy them again, but there’s so many pads and they lasted so well that I probably have a lifetime supply.
You can pick 5-10x pieces in local shop at 20 quid or get 100s at much much lower price. They also stick quite well. Can’t really fault them at this low price.
These are cheap so they are not about to win any longevity awards. That said they still represent good value and if like me you are sanding paint and resin then any pads will clog pretty quickly so these are a much better bet as you need volume not longevity. There is a good range of grit options and they are durable and well made so on balance I would recommend them.
Bought this on behalf of my dad. I thought they seemed expensive but I – obviously – know nothing. He is absolutely made up with them and, after looking at prices for sanding sheets after I ordered these, they are an absolute bargain. I bought some sanding sheets before and we thought that there was a problem with the actual sander as the sheets – basically – slipped off. Now we know it was the poor quality expensive ones I’d previously bought. These do not slip and have a kung fu grip on the sander. BUY THEM!!!!! If it impresses my Dad they have to be good… seriously, he’d give Simon Cowell a run for his money.
This pack of 100 was cheaper than 50 from sc fx or tstn. I used them on a backing pad which was wearing out and, to my surprise, they did not just fly off. The first one I used was 80 grade on a flat surface rubbing down epoxy filler and old paint. It lasted about an hour and had been as good at removal as any I have used.
I bought these for use with reclaiming wood to make a cabinet and lumber yard bought wood, they don’t last very long compared to the ones that came with my Erbauer Orbital Sander, but they do the job. For the price you can’t really go wrong for how many you get. Just a note though, there is no 800G like advertised. I’d say it’s worth the money for 100 if you need the variety. If you are mainly after a 2-3 different ones though, I’d recommend finding others that are more durable for that.
Good pads, good price, good delivery!
I find the pads stick brilliant to my dewalt sander which I was abit sceptical about.
I find they wear out abit quicker than other brands I have tried (which you get 6 in a pack for 3) but considering the price for the amount you get this is something I can live with. The abrasion on the pads is brilliant cannot fault them at all, just wish they lasted abit longer lol.
Definatley be buying more. Hopefully can find a bigger bulk pack off the same seller if not I will just order 2 of these next time so im stocked up for ages!
