Was asked by seller for a review but wanted to give monitor a fair bit of use before doing so.
Altogether I was quite happy with this purchase. The delivery arrangements went smoothly and I am on the whole pleased with the LG 24MK43HP. The only feature I’m not bowled over by is the joystick which serves as on/off, mode change and volume control.
It is a bit of a fiddle to switch the monitor off. Apparently you either press and hold the spring-centred joystick upwards for >4 secs – this doesn’t always work – or press it upwards and rearwards till the icon turns red, then release it. This also doesn’t always work as it often returns to the normal colour before you’ve been able to release.
Rather than being a fault, I think it’s perhaps a matter of getting used to. Nevertheless it is somewhat annoying and I’m sure buttons would have been preferred by all.
Good quality picture and good value.
I bought a VESA compatible monitor arm and mounted this monitor to it. I’ve only had it a week but no complaints so far. It work very well as a desktop office monitor.
