Great value you do have to be careful when taking the tape off to put on the pots as it creases easily but it dose work so happy to recommend

Product works well, I was getting up for working and constantly catching them in my kitchen or living room but then all of a sudden the slugs disappeared but the trails remained very morning like a little scout slug had fed back the information to its gang what time I was getting up for work. I googled best way to get rid and this tape came up, it was a Saturday night and I came home after a few beverages and was probably home about 2-3 hours before I would get up for a week day work shift so the slugs were not expecting me as I came home and I was not expecting them too. This time I was prepared and as you can tell by the video they hate it, I’ve now deployed the tape to my front and back door and also door plates downstairs.

Easy to use on terracotta pots.
I used it to protect my hosta collection which are always targeted by snails and slugs.
Of my 6 pots only one suffered slight slug damage and the other five were untouched for the whole of last summer.
I will put another layer on this spring.
    Really pleased with the results.

Great adhesion in all weathers, doesn’t leave verdigris stains and stops slugs and snails getting into pots.

Bought for my earthenware pots to protect dahlia seedlings. This is a good quality copper tape. It’s strong, wide and sticks well. It has protected my plants perfectly, unlike the pots next to them which didn’t have slug tape on them and the plants were destroyed by slugs and snails. Highly recommend.

This works well, I put it on my planters in Spring and my seeds have come up and grown well. In comparison last year they were eaten when small by slugs. There is no slug damage on plants in pots protected by this.

It is a little fiddly to put on and sometimes shreds and splits as it goes on meaning extra layers are required. But it does the job well.

Strong enough that it doesn’t rip while you are applying it. Sticks well. Slugs have left my hosta well alone. No nibbling has been seen!!!

Tried copper tape a couple of years ago on the cane wigwams used to grow runner beans up. A ring round the pole base stops them climbing and no plants were eaten. Encouraged by that a plastic water barrel with planters top and sides was a target but again it worked. It does crease very easily, not that it stops it working but does affect the appearance. So it needs careful handling where that is important.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLast year I found that with out full strength slug killer it was impossible to start off runner beans as unseen slugs were eating the shoots. Also cabbage plants were badly attacked. I resorted to copper tape around trough pots which worked. I tried copper sheet rings around maturing cabbage plants which worked but it is expensive so I have now used tape on 5cm plastic downpipe cut to allow it to be parted and placed around stem without a gap. This worked. My difficulty is attaching the tape particularly to sloping pot sides. I cut to length then peal off the tape in a progressive continuous even movement. Sometimes it gets stuck to itself. To keep the tape on pots level a crinkled band must be accepted. This still deters the slugs.

I bought this to stop slugs wandering at night time all over the conservatory attracted to my cat’s food.
Simply put a good length across the floor between edge of floor an wall, and bingo no more slugs.

My floor is laminated wood, and being caught before trying to remove self adhesive tape from the floor, a real nightmare I assure you, this time I did NOT remove the backing paper and instead used small pieces of Blutack to keep the tape in place, about every metre. Works fine for me.
