Extend the experience with Chronicles of Crime: Noir
In Chronicles of Crime: Noir, you are Sam, a private detective in Los Angeles. Or maybe you are Bob, a scriptwriter for Hollywood? You are not quite sure as you wake up, laying on the tarmac of a small street with a massive headache.
So many details are missing. How did you end up here?
You are certain of only one thing. You are by yourself. And this means using any means necessary.

Takes a little while to learn but really entertaining and addictive once you have it down.
Great board game and most of the scenarios are fantastic. The scenarios can’t be played again, but you can download more content.
This game is something different, really fun and engaging and the fact that it plays out in real time (to an extent) makes it really variable. Plus being on the same team as other players means that its good for anyone reading this who has overly competitive family and friends. Anyone unsure on buying it should check out the YouTube summaries which helped me decide. I’d highly recommend it though.
Wow. This game is exactly the kind of game I’ve been looking. Feels like the closest thing to a real investigation I’ve experienced so far!
Easy to learn , very well executed, unique and enjoyable. I really look forward to playing more scenarios and expansions packs.
great game, well thought out though did have to use You Tube to understand the basics before playing. Played with my 18yr old Daughter but she ended up taking over and figuring it out herself haha
Game Review:
Fun solo, but lose interest after a case. Little bit repetitive. 3/5
Best played with 2-3 as you can step back if you find a part of the case uninteresting/ difficult. Plus it’s fun to bounce ideas off each other. 4/5
Packaging:
Game box and components fantastic. VR set should be in game really. (Probably is out to keep game under 30). Delivered fast and in one piece. 5/5
I love this game. The art work and game play are great. If you like things like cluedo/sherlock Holmes etc I think you’ll really enjoy this game. The only minor fault is I think the game was made in France and translated to English, so occasionally you might come across a slightly incorrect translation/grammatical error, but that is more to do with the app you use to play the game, rather than the board and pieces.
Excellent game. Using your phone or tablet to search for clues definitely a different experience for game playing. The cases you get are 5 to play then you can purchase more separately or buy the expansion sets. I would reccomend it for people that like detective games and can also be played solo. Game was delivered very quickly and well packaged.
This game brings together technology and classic board game style to create a fun and completely immersive crime fighting experience. The use of VR technology is optional as VR videos can be played without a headset. Tutorial get you playing without the need to read massive rulebooks.
Game time on box is slightly sorter than I’ve experienced. with games usually lasting around 2 hours instead of 90 minutes, Time really does fly.
Arrived on time. This game is very interactive. I’m happy with this game. Unfortunately, this game is useless without the app, otherwise enjoyable.
We first played this with some friends…then we knew we needed to get our own game set to play with our kids. Love the concept of this game. It is loads of fun. And love the challenges of solving the crimes. Allows for lots of interaction with the players. I definitely recommend this game.
This is an original idea, crime stories supported by an App. It works well as a cooperative board game and the VR crime scene analyses are great fun, everyone wants a go, even the not so young and tech minded but everyone remains involved. We had great fun playing over a Christmas.
It can feel a little like random scanning at some points. Clues and cards don’t always totally match. Once you’ve played a few probably need a break for a period to reignite the suspension of disbelief required to submerge in the theme. But overall definitely worth my pennies and looking forward to playing more stories.
