Very useful plug in motion light , used in hall and landing by stairs at night , switches on instantly and of about 60s after motion stops . can be preset to required brightness . would buy again or recommend

Perfect for our new bedroom which has thick blinds and makes the room very dark at night .
Soft light that lights up if you move near it . Very helpful to light the way to the bathroom during the night without wakening the other person. Very pleased with them .

Being of the older generation and needing to use the bathroom of a night, purchased these small plugs with little expectation that they would light up the landing enough but they are excellent! You can dim the amount of light you need by tapping the cover. The lights don’t come on during the day until the light fades and for the cost are an excellent purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought these as we have a dark hallway and upstairs landing which have sockets but not enough space for table/lamps etc. These work great, I have them on auto and when the natural light fades they lighten the hall and stairs effectively and give 90 secs of light. You can easily select the brightness by tapping the top and come on when motion is detected. Great for use near stairs, not so great for kids sneaking out of rooms to raid the cupboards!! Would highly recommend

The lights are small but powerful with the ability to lower the light to your requirements. I bought these as others only stay on for 30 or 60 seconds. These lights give you time to move about before switching off. Very good product.

Really good little lights, really responsive with turning on when someone walks by, not too bright but bright enough to make the hallway visible, much better than expected, really happy with these!

On the advice of a nurse I bought these to try to ensure my husband had no more falls at night. They work really well and no accidents since! The light is action motivated and stays on long enough to climb the stairs safely.

This has been working really well and is used every night. We have on ein the hallway, which we use with a motion sensor. Works great when we need to get up at night but don’t want to switch on the lights. The second one is in my son’s bedroom. We leave it on the lowest brightness setting, so he’s not scared when waking up in the middle of the night. Really useful

Great automatic light! Great help for when you just need enough light to get from place to place without faffing around to get to the light switch! Will definitely buy more!

I have one in my kitchen, & one on the landing.

I have the kitchen one of 100% so it saves me from having to switch the big light on if I happen to enter the kitchen late at night – it also warns me if one of the cats is on the counter, so that’s an added bonus.

The one on the landing lights up as I put my feet onto the landing from the stairs, or bathroom, so it lights up the way perfectly every time. it also lights up as soon as I open my bedroom door, which is again perfect; the landing one is not on so high because it would illuminate my room too much, so that’s on about 50% brightness & does the job of lighting my way across the landing perfectly, it has also put a stop to the cat’s night time zoomies, so again another added bonus.

I love the ability to adjust the brightness, & the fact that they don’t stay on until day light, as my landing is not illuminated by much natural light, so other plug-in lights used to be on 24/7 unless it was blazing sunshine, but this is the UK so that is usually only about 15 days a year!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent & Inexpensive

Ordered for when the grandchildren came to stay for the hallway on the ground & 1st floors. We have left them in place as we think they have made the navigation if stairs at night much easier.

We like that the brightness level is adjustable—the one right outside our bedroom is on low whereas the one at the bottom if the stairs is on high.

Initially I thought a little pricey, but well worth the investment.

These lights are amazing. We live in the sticks so it’s really dark at night no street lamps etc. + age more bathroom trips! Put two in my hallway because it’s L shaped so now we can see to get to the bedroom and bathroom in the middle of the night! It stops on long enough to get back in the room. we have stopped turning the main lights on in the evening! So good I’ve bought two more one for visitors upstairs to stop them falling down the stairs and the other can be a spare. We are both very impressed with them and highly recommend.

This is a very nifty little night lite I use in the passage. It has great features that the old one it replaced didn’t have. It has different light intensities whis is very handy. It also has a motion sensor feature. Easy to use and very neat. There were two in the box so a back up unit as well. Very pleased with this buy especially as I need to get up at night and don’t need to switch a light on.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPurchased in order to have light in my hallway of a night-time when getting up to use bathroom. The other light is in my dining room and is beneficial as I don’t need to put on the harsh ceiling light. Only a couple of niggles; my dining room lights motion detector occasionally fails to detect I’ve walked into the room until I’m almost on top of it and at times it loses its brightness too. These work on the electric, when this occurs I remove the light from the socket and put back in, this seems to work!!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThey do exactly what I needed they turn on when motion is detected, perfect for lighting a hallway or porch which is the reason I got them. The light is pleasantly warm and the brightness is adjustable in levels from 1 to 5 (I found level 4 was perfect for me), the light remains on for around 2-3 minutes after motion was last detected so ideal for moving through a space without having to worry about turning lights on or forgetting to turn them off. I needed just one light but they only come in packs of two, for the price it’s not bad I’ll either keep the extra one as a spare or gift it to a family member.

Nice small and sleek design. Easy to use and the auto feature works well coming on at dusk.

Can seem quite bright but easilly dimmable. One works well for coming up the stairs and landing, but we have another in a corridor/hallway that doesn’t come on till your pretty much on top of it. I assume this is because of the angle of detection and it being low down on the right hand wall of the corridor.

There is a fiddly three-position mechanical switch on the bottom of the device: off/on/auto. ‘Off’ might be accommodated by the power point switch, and ‘on’ disables the light sensor and motion sensor (which would allow one design of night light to be used as a basic device as well, but I see little point to it). ‘Auto’ works well, with the motion sensor operating at a wide angle, the position at which I leave the switch.

The brightness is controlled by a touch switch on the top of the device and is intelligently designed. The five levels of brightness cycle up and down 5-4-3-2-1-2-3-4-5-4-… rather than 5-4-3-2-1, 5-4-3-2-1.

I’ve one of these devices just inside the lounge door, so that I can see to leave the room after I’ve turned the uplighters off with the remote switch, and that then turns itself off after about 90 seconds. It’s an improvement over the gadget it replaced, which stayed on all night (and maybe all day in the winter). The other is in a power point between the bedroom and the bathroom, so it comes on only when I walk by and doesn’t stay on all night, illuminating the bedroom door frame and preventing me sleeping. I’ve found the minimum level of brightess adequate in both locations.
