If you want a basic draughts game then this is the one. I enjoy playing this with my granddaughter and mother. Can be easily packed away in its box.

The pieces were cheap light plastic but the board was good sturdy quality cardboard
Bought this for my daughter’s (11 and 9 years old) to play. They love board games but I’d totally forgot about the old traditional board games until I came across this on the list. So I had to buy it.
It’s a quick and easy game to understand and play.l and my daughter’s love playing it.
It’s not exactly small enough to say it’s easy for travelling. But it is light in weight. Its not very sturdy for a board game because it’s just made of cardboard but it’s no different than any other board game material.
A great, simple game to have in the house when you get bored.

Scouts loved playing the game on games night, seems study and robust. Will get plenty of use out of it.

For the money I can’t complain. I bought this to teach my 5 year old draughts so I wanted something that I wouldn’t care too much if it got destroyed or pieces lost.
It is cheap but the board was a little more substantial than I expected and has withstood 5 year old hamfistedness quite well. The pieces are quite small and light but it’s really to be expected.
For young kids, it’s perfect!
It’s good value for money the full sized board is quite strong the only down side is the pieces do not stack when you get to the other side you just turn them over to reveal a crown which is hard to find
But for the money I would recommend it to keep at home to amuse the grand childre
