It is absolutely brilliant product. It removes the weeds from the roots with seamless ease and no back lift. I had used many products to remove weeds in the past but this was the most effective by far. Definitely worth it. The item arrived quickly with no issues.
Good and sturdy and works really well on the small weeds pushing through the gravel path – better than a hoe! A bit more effort required with larger weeds on the lawn just pulling off the crown on those with deep tap roots but didnt bend with the force required. Biggest con – did too much weeding after a lazy winter and muscles and joints complained later! Oh – and the metal ring on the handle came loose.
excellent weeder with a u bend so u can lift the weeds up.
a lovely contraption, with a u bend in it, so u can lever the weeds up.
my old weeder i ended up flicking weeds across the garden. THIS IS PERFECT.
I was looking for a weed removal tool and was inclined to go for the fiskers type where you press a mechanism onto the weed and pull…but they ain’t cheap and get variable feedback. So thought I’d try this gizmo a go. No moving parts you simply stick the sharp point into the root of the weed and using a leverage action flick/pull out the full weed. Actually works! You do need to get to ground level so a gardening knee pad or similar required if your my age. It is very addictive so you can end up with a whole covered lawn if you not careful.
It’s, a great tool , gets dandelion roots out quickly and easily . It does have to have a bit of give to get into the root system , perhaps could be sturdier.
… but I don’t think I’ve quite got the hang of it. Well made, comfortable to handle but I just can’t get the DDL’s out cleanly. Think I need more practise though!
A very useful tool for certain types of weeds where one needs to get a bit deeper to remove the root. Especially good for dandy lions.
The finish of the metal in the fork part was a bit rough – does not effect use but cause for loosing a star. Possibly cause a cut if hand ran over that part. Have used for a couple of years and the roughness has gone.
I bought this to replace one that I had for years but was lost.I find it invaluable in helping to clear weeds from my lawn.Easy to use and effective.I recommend this item.
