I bought this for my niece. She said the game was great and has spent many hours trying to do the challenges it offers. Good game
I bought this game for my daughter and she loves it. The graphics and game play are amazing. The price on Amazon was the cheapest as it was on sale at the time and I am very happy with my purchase.

This game is definitely a great add on to the original spider man on ps4, it really improves on the gameplay and also story telling. My only problem with this game is that it’s too short, far too short to justify paying more than 20 for.
If you played the first Insomniac Spiderman this is more of the same pretty much. It looks amazing, plays just as well as the original game and is a lot of fun. The story is fairly good, although the enemies aren’t as interesting as more iconic ones in the first game. The only downside really is that it’s shorter than the main game, but still, there’s plenty to do nonetheless. If you loved the first game you’ll love this and it’ll tide you over until a fully fledged sequel.
I really enjoyed the first one so expected big things, on that basis I was disappointed. The game was the length of an expansion in my opinion. It doesn’t feel like much was done in the way of improvement on the last one apart from add some ice to everything. Small things like seeing a front door through a window that on the outside is a brick wall, for me is not acceptable when pretty much nothing has changed mechanically or visually. I also don’t appreciate that in order to platinum the game and unlock some of the skills!!! I have to play new game plus. Can you not just make the game longer rather than forcing me to play it twice??
That said, and ignoring my high expectations because of the first one it is a good game, stunning visuals, nice story, and worth playing. I did really enjoy the 8 hours of play but maybe wait for it to become cheape
Must have for PS5 owners. Don’t bother getting this for the PS4. The graphics are amazing, and so is the gameplay. The length of the game is the only real issue, as I managed to beat it about 6 times to 100 percent within a 1 and a 1/2 month span. Other than that, the game is practically perfect.
Would’ve given it five stars, but the social agendas that plague our society are even making it into our video games now, so it soured the experience.

Gameplay and mechanics are very similar and it plays really well on PS5.

Great game. Perfect continuation from the first game. They’ve ironed out a few creases and improved it. The PS5 version is nothing short of breathtaking to look at. Gorgeous visuals complemented by a decent story and likeable characters. A must have for next gen gamers. The only downside is that it’s a little short in comparison to the first game. Maybe more replay value with downloadable content for the future.
Very similar to the first Spider-Man game. Addictive game mechanics with a great world to explore. The only drawback for me was the story was much shorter, and it felt like the world was a little empiter. It took me about 15 hours to do everything. However it’s still a great game despite it’s length.

Whilst the game is a bit shorter and there are fewer side missions it feels a lot more streamlined than the first game.
The upgraded visuals are phenomenal and the attention to detail nothing short of amazing. Miles is a much newer hero and i liked how this plays out visually earlier in the game with the odd “stumble” or hesitation, it doesnt really affect gameplay but its a nice detail.
The animated suit with the comic style effects is also a nice little touch if a little distracting.
The haptic feedback on the controller is nice but barely registers, it doesnt quite feel as responsive as other titles.
Super hero fan or not this is a really fun game with a decent amount to do and something for a wide variety of gamers. I’ve played it to death and my 5 year old loves to just swing about the city.
Needless to say if you didnt like the first game then i cant imagine theres much here to change your mind. That said the game is a sight to behold and absolutely worth a look for any lovers of open world, action, shooter or adventure games.
Got this with the console back in November. I was one of the lucky ones on launch day. It’s absolutely brilliant, it really is. Stunning graphics, great gameplay, fantastic story. The opening gameplay makes your jaw drop. It’s not the longest game but it doesn’t matter. I can’t remember a console launch game being so good ever and I’ve bought every console since the mega drive.
Best game on the PS5 to date.
First game on the Ps5 and I was blown away by the graphics. Great attention to detail especially in the faces of the characters. The only negative about this game is the story mode is short but there is plenty of other stuff to do like the side missions. If you have recently bought a Ps5 this a must buy!
his game is amazing (PS5 version, haven;t played the PS4), if all you could do is to swing around performing aerial tricks i’d still love it. its got great a great story line, with great actors (i still remember the resident evil games with awful acting)
only issue is, if you fly though the game just doing the story line it will be over in a few days.
so my advice, do as many side quests as you can.

one of the best Spider-Man games to date however the story missions were really short. I do hope they release some DLC for the future as I would like to continue playing it.
It’s a great game but a bit light on content compared to the last game it’s more of the same so if you enjoyed that you’ll likely enjoy this one as well.
Amazing what they achieved is such a short development time.
Ray tracing looks ace but once you try the 60fps performance mode, you’ll soon forget the 30fps ray tracing mode. Thank goodness 30fps is no longer the standard.
Looking forward to Spiderman 2 very much. Sure to be amazing!!
The game builds on from the original, which was a masterpiece, and uses the already built foundations of New York.
I wish the story was a bit longer as I finished the game in 3 days (but I couldn’t put the controller down). Aside from that, another amazing experience.
You could get a lot more game time achieving 100% trophy completion.
There are two modes, Fidelity and Performance. Performance uses 4k and 60fps while Fidelity uses 4k and 30fps but the one I prefer out of the two is Fidelity because of the quality and most of all, ray tracing.
I would complain that the story is short but to be fair, it was average as it was able to tell a story that would make me smile, cry and feel entertained and excited because Insomniac and Sony once again made another Spider Man game but this time in the eyes of Miles.
I love this game and fans of the previous game like me would not want to miss this.
