I’ve got it on discounted price. It is easy to connect to mobile. The mobile camera draw the lines by looking at green light. There are enough cards to create a family game. One has to click manually on correct answers. We had fun playing it. Played only once since we have received.

Great fun for whole family and works fine as long as it’s done right. Screen mirroring works on to tvs but does show a mirror so drawing left draws right on tv. This confused our young children a bit.

This is a really fun twist on a classic game and I love how they have added in kids v grown ups to make it a little easier for the children to join in. This is guaranteed to have everyone laughing at ridiculous attempts of drawing in the air. Love it a family night mus

The set consisted of a Pictionary Air pen, a pile of cards with one side for the terms without the picture clues for grown up and the other side simpler terms with picture clues for kids to draw.
The installation of this game is not too difficult. We use iPad as we don’t have a camera connected to our TV. An App needs to be first downloaded to our iPad. We use the front camera to play so the player can see what they are drawing and have the other players guessing. The app shows the time and scoring and clear of drawings can be done by taping on the screen.
Would be nicer to play it on tv with a larger screen, or the iPad can be mirrored onto a TV so there are 2 screens for adding more fun.
Overall, it is a nice idea, a different version of Pictionary, not requiring to use pen and paper. It takes a while to get use to drawing in the air. We enjoy playing with it more than the traditional one.

Like Pictionary? Want the latest one?

This is Mattel Games Pictionary Air vs Grown Ups Game, game cards, smart pen with battery provided, smart device required.

I used to love old school Pictionary, it was fun, this is a whole new level. This puts adults vs kids and drawing in the air via a smart stylus pen. You need a smart phone or iPad with the Pictionary Air app downloaded. We used the latter, and the bigger the better!
Simply hold up iPad facing the player as they draw what they have picked off the card in the allocated time, and repeat with other players. It does take practice and patience, but hilarious if you all learn together!
What we found the players who were better at art were the worst ha, it was hilarious guessing what was being drawn, a guitar? A shovel? A flower? Ha

Overall for the price this game is superb, we love it that much we’re taking on hols with us next week. We’ll recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun game, but takes some getting used to

his is the pictionary air game from mattel, it’s a kids vs grown-ups game of guessing word from drawing in the air, very interesting and innovative game

have to download and install an app from app store, i’d recommend using a big screen tablet to play it

the drawing pen included works like a vr controller, it will leave trace on the tablet screen when pressed the button and move it around, not hard to control even for kids, but my kids like graffiti more than following the rules seriously

there are 112 double sided cards included, each of them contains 3 words to be drawn and guessed, there are sample pictures in kids cards, make it more easy for kids to follow

this game is fun and good for playing in family and friends gathering

we’re very happy with it, would recommend

A fun and unique twist on a popular family game – the Pictionary Air Kids Vs. Grown-Ups uses a smart phone application as part of the game, adding a modern twist.

Fun for all the family – the Kids Vs. Grown-Ups edition contains cards with two sides; a side for grown-ups and one for kids, the kids drawings are very easy and give a small image of the picture to draw. The grown-up side features words with no clues. Suitable for all ages – we played this with two adults and two children, 10 and 13, the instructions and game play rules are easy to follow and understand, a simple concept but really effective as a game.

The ‘smart’ pen is used to draw in the air, which appears on the screen – this is incredibly easy to use and set up was really simple, I highly recommend using the camera in ‘selfie’ mode as this makes it a lot easier to see what you’re drawing. We had great fun playing the ‘air’ version, made a nice change from the standard version of the game!

Incredibly fun, a great update for Pictionary – highly recommended.

We’ve absolutely loved playing Pictionary Air. I like that straight away the pen comes with a battery but you do need a screwdriver. Once you’ve downloaded the app you can start playing straight away. Just point the pen at the device, press the button and start drawing. There are a few downsides – you can’t use it against a light background or it will draw where ever it sees white, you also can’t wear red or green (downside at Christmas?). I also have trouble casting it from my phone to the TV – it just doesn’t register the TV is in the same room even when they’re on the same network so we are restricted to playing it on the phone which wouldn’t be great if playing with more than a couple of players. I love that there are a lot of cards and that on one side you have the Kids version and on the other is the grownups (the grown ups ones also have a lot more to choose from). It’s so easy to draw ‘on’ the screen and I like that you then interact with your drawing e.g. you hold an umbrella and stand under it. It’s easy to see how much time is left and how many points each team has and I like that you can customise it so you have more time etc. My 4 year old even had a go but doesn’t quite know how to draw yet so just lots of scribbles but he felt like he was joining in.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, lots of laughter. Just need a bigger screen.

Enjoyable for the whole family! Really cool item.. you get everything in the kit to get you going and it works great! This is a kids vs adults one, so very much enjoyable for the whole family and will be perfect on our camping trips. Arrived in a nice retail box (which would also make a great gift) and comes with simple instructions to get you going. Overall I’m very happy and it’s a really good price 🙂

We had a great laugh with this. One quick thing to point that it’s best when casting to a screen so if you have a chrome cast then you can use that. You download the app. The battery goes in the pen and then you sue the camera on the phone or tablet to point at those drawing and it comes up on the screen and they have to guess what it is. There are a bunch of cards for categories and children can use them to help as there are prompts to support them so it’s designed so that the whole family can play. We ended up playing with 3 generations and we have a right laugh. I’ve never played the board game version but this has now made me what to buy that. This is such fun to play and a great price. Don’t worry it’s very simple to set up.

I’m not a fan of updating traditional games especially my beloved pictionary but thois really is the exception to my rule.
1st of all you have to download the app phone/tablet/ smart tv and follow the instructions on the app then draw.
It’s a strange concept drawing in the air but perfect for prople like myself who can’t draw, this really is a great adult game to play especially after a few drinks.
I really like how the cards are seperated (1 side for children then flip over for adults) and with lots of ideas on each card you are bound to find something you can draw.
When using phones and tablets I found it easy to switch the camera to selfie mode so i could actually see what i was attempting to draw it’s also hysterical to interact with the drawings.
My children are 12 and 15 so were able to use this easily , i would probably say the youngest age for a child to enjoy this would be approx 8 if not a bit older as the concept is hard to figure out holding the pen and drawing in air.
Excelelnt value for money and a fabulous upgrade on a traditional game, so portable and space saving as well

Interesting gaming set. Comes in a package including a pen, 2 sets of clue cards and a AA battery.
The pen powers with the battery. It emits red light when it is on and green light when active. The application installed on the phone or tablet uses its camera and receives green light signals instantly and displays what’s drawn on air. When I tried, I was able to use a normal pen torch with a green film instead.
The clue cards are in two sets and see can be used for kids as well as adults.
Overall, an interesting classic game with a touch of new generation tech support.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fun group activity

Great variant on pictionary. Separate cards for adults and children makes it a real leveller between the two.
Drawing in the air is fun and great novelty, and you see the results on screen (having done initial set up of course with app etc).
What was an issue though is that younger children seemed to find it incredible frustrating that what they thought they drew in the air came out nothing like in on screen… leading to tantrums which did ruin the enjoyment a bit…

Overall a great concept, and well executed and at 15 not a bad price for a whole load of family fun (on the whole!)

This is an excellent modern and innovative way to play Pictionary. Love the fact there’s separate cards for adults and children as it not only allows the children more of a chance if being able to draw and guess but it brings out their competitive spirit. Being able to aur draw then look at the screen is ingenious for children. No sign of any boredom , just great family fun. Cant speak highly enough of this
