It’s important to find your colour match. I was lucky that I’d tried before in store, though the guides to colour match are good. This foundation does actually last for blinking ages. It’s staying power is notable despite how light it feels. It’s worth a try if you want what it says it does.

Maybelline if you’re listening, you made a very huge mistake jumping on the greed wagon for marketing to switch to the 30hr Stay Stay when you had a superb product here the 24hr. Why do companies do this to sacrifice the satisfaction of customers and the skin of customers defeats the object. I wish I can continue getting this product now will have to look elsewhere to another company that does even something near, Maybelline your 30hr Super Stay is a let down bring back 24hr please!!! This has always been a cheap foundation but lovely as a base. Stores only sell 30 hours which is not as good it’s thick and heavy. Who needs make up to last 30 hours please put back 24 hours only foundation. I really thought there would be no difference but there is. It’s not nice the 30 hou
I always try new foundations every so often just so I can see if there’s any others incase but non compare to this one at all! I have A-topic Eczema and my skin on my face can be the sorest and hardest to cover as you can imagine but this covers up my redness completely! And I’m not exaggerating it is so full coverage it’s ridiculous and completely feels like skin it’s not thick and not cakey, it goes on so smooth and concealer and contour go on so smooth on top!
So yes I completely recommend this to anyone who may have redness or any blemishes they like to cover, this is for you 10000%
I did not think this Foundation is very good, not impressed about it. Maybe I chose the wrong shade , as its very light on my skin, does not look if I have any on my face. its either I should have a darker shade, than 05 Light Beige. Sweety
Good point is it is full coverage – amazing coverage, i’m just not sure if its a copy, i’m sure i’ll find out when the one from Superdrug arrives as they are an authorised seller.
Update….. the shades are different from the ones i get from superdrug….. its more of a match to me.
It’s incredibly full coverage, a lot more than Revlon Colorstay and Rimmel 24 hour foundation. You need like half a pump for the entire face. This makes it cost effective too (not that it’s not as is!). The days when I’m not going for as heavy coverage, I use a very light pump, though it can get a tad heavy; which actually brings me to my next point, and that’s the heaviness.
It’s a full coverage foundation after all that’s made to last, so it does feel heavier than a sheer foundation like Bourjois Healthy Serum. It doesn’t leave a tacky feel like Rimmel 24 does nor does it feel heavy. Just gives a lovely natural demi-matte finish.
Longevity is really good, but absolutely not for 24 hours as claimed. It does transfer, and starts breaking up a little around lips and nose (like most of my foundations) after a few hours of wear, but then, I’d mixed it with a drop of oil so I can’t say for sure if the foundation alone is to blame.
It’s basically a proper dupe for Estee Lauder Doublewear. It’s the closest thing you’ll get.
You cannot miss this foundation if you’re into full coverage makeup.
Oh and I got it for like 5.50 so that was a steal!
This foundation is very good. The product is definitely buildable coverage and lasts all day. By far one of the best drug store foundations on the market right now.
The product blends very well and gives you a flawless and even look.
But be careful! Too much of this product won’t blend out as well and will make the face look caked and thick.
The reason for 4 stars is that the current colour I use does make me look a bit orange if I don’t blend it on my neck. The lighter colour from the range makes me look extremely pale and there is no in between. I guess it might be an idea to use both at some point and see if that helps. But again, I don’t think I should have to purchase two foundations in order to have the right share. Maybelline should definitely take note from L’Oral they have an amazing range of colours.
This foundation is not suitable for people with oily to combination skin. I can get a bit oily at times so I’ve started to use a matte moisturiser to control the oil production on my face and it seems to have done the trick. Nivea, if anyone is wondering.
Before purchasing online I would recommend buying this in store first or at least testing the colours in store as the foundation oxadises and starts to look a bit darker than the initial application.
I love this product!!!! I have really acne prone skin and I breakout along my t-zone really bad. But if you like matte foundations then I’m sure you will really love this one. But you have to make sure that you put a moisturizing primer on before you use this product because it can really make your skin dry if you don’t. But yes this is my holy grail foundation and I love it because it covers all my acne and it looks very nice on my face. It doesn’t look very natural but it does work well for people with acne prone skin. (It doesn’t make me break out at all). The only time this product made me break out was when I was wearing it in the hot sun and I was sweating underneath the product and that caused me to break out a little. So I wouldn’t recommend this if you are out in the blazing sun and have acne prone skin. But if you are looking for a natural looking foundation this isn’t the foundation for you. And it lasts for a long time
The first time I tried it I used a damp blender which was unsuccessful however the next time I used a stippling brush to apply the foundation as it’s so thick and I find you have to use a lot for full coverage and then after went over my skin with the damp blender to leave a flawless finish. I do still tend to use Este on my nose as foundation just slides off my face, set with powder and your done! So glad I can now save money on foundation as I will use this on a day to day basis. Some say the colour oxidises but I haven’t found this to be true
