Very comfortable to wear and to collect when finished.
    Easy to store.
The only thing I did find was some liquid would leak in to the rubber seal which would seem a wais

This has helped me through the first 2 months of breastfeeding, keeping boobs fresh and away from fabric while it’s recovering from any soreness. Fits perfectly inside the bra and it’s very easy to clean as well.

Excellent for allowing your nipples to heal. Kept them aired and let breast milk sit on them. I found they cut into my breast and left marks, but didn’t hurt so not a problem.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought these to give my nipples some breathing space as I have a deep crack on one from breastfeeding. They’re comfy to wear throughout the day as your bra keeps them in place.
I didn’t realise just how much milk I would collect in it when feeding from the other side!! I easily collect 30ml before pumping from the injured side. The only downfall is I often forget I’m wearing it and bend down and it comes out of the top and a new bra and top are required!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought the breastshells as I was in horrendous pain feeding my newborn baby – my nipples were cracked and bleeding and having my clothes touch them was agony. The shells worked really well for keeping my clothes away from my nipples and they were fairly comfortable to wear. They allowed air to get to my nipples as well which was quite soothing.

On the negative side they give your breasts a funny shape through clothes (although if you’re buying these because you’re in pain then this is probably the least of your worries!). They seemed to stimulate a letdown for me as well so there would be quite a bit of milk collecting in the shells, which wasnt necessarily a problem but something to be aware of so that you’re prepared to empty them every so often and not bend down to much while wearing them as the milk then comes out of the air holes!

The major downside for me was that the shells, by necessity to stay in place, press into the skin around the nipple. This meant that when my baby wanted to feed my nipples weren’t quite the right shape and it made it even more painful for me. However this could be down to the state my nipples were in and the way my baby was feeding.

For the price these are definitely worth a go, even if they just give you half a days respite from anything touching your nipples.

Does exactly as required, helped my nipples heal, reduced pain and discomfort by 100%, fabric didn’t rub, so glad these exist!! Life savers, able to breastfeed in a few days of healing with these o

These saved my life!! Great product. Cant fault it. Breastfeeding has been tough as my nipples get tender and painful. These shells stop the friction against my bra and nipples when I’m done breastfeeding and expressing. What I love most!! is the shells collect leaked milk which you can pour into something and store to feed your baby. I won’t be needing breast pads so frequently. Nice to know I don’t have to waste leaked milk. I also love that they are conformable to wear and you can wear them out as it doesn’t show through clothes. Happy customer!! I’ve collected at least 4oz of milk today just by doing nothing but wearing these shells. That’s a whole feed for my baby 🙂 and my nipples feel so much better.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was dubious about these but bought them as I was in so much pain when breastfeeding that I was willing to try anything. Within the first second of using I was satisfied that it was a good investment. I could barely feel anything, which is an odd sensation, but it had been agony to feed without them an hour earlier.

I also like that they can be chucked in the microwave bag and that they come with a handy carry case. Definitely recommend if you are suffering.

Breastshells are amazing. I was fortuned with a baby that breastfeeds every 2 hours or less since day 0. And first 4/5 days this things just saved my nipples it allows them to breath without touching any clothes. Put some gauze/cotton inside the shell to avoid the milk to leak when you bend forward and you will see immediately the results.

LIFE SAVER! I’ve only been breastfeeding 5 days, but peeling off breast pads from already sore cracked nipples was HORRENDOUS. So with these, they let air around your nipples, no chaffing, no sticking.
Like others have said, they do make your boobs look odd shape and milk would spill if there was enough in there but i still think they’re great.

These are great for keeping clothes of my very sore and tender nipples. I was also using nipple shields but I don’t need them anymore as my nipples heal between feeds now. Only problem is the holes at the top are quite large and milk spills out when I bend over. I have to keep wearing pads to catch the leakage.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGreat if you have really sore nipples and find normal breast pads uncomfortable. Fit nicely in your bra and easy to keep clean. Only draw back is you have to be careful when bending over as milk spils out of the air holes. Not a design fault just something to bear in mind.

Good product – an easy way to save precious breast milk from being wasted. Comfortable to wear, although wouldn’t leave the house with them on. Just don’t bend over otherwise you’ll leak the lot!!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese saved my nipples from becoming really sore during breast feeding in the early weeks. My nipples were sore anyway and were being pushed and flattened by my bra so I needed something to take that pressure off. These worked a treat but the reason I scored 4 is because you’re left with a red mark around your nipples from the pressure of them and so it looks like you’ve had a boob job and had your nipples reorienting!

These are a brilliant product if you are suffering with cracked or sore nipples. It means that air gets to them yet still promotes moist healing which is necessary. These ae also great for sore/cracked nipples as they protect them from rubbing on breast pads and bras when they are trying to heal. The only thing i will say is that if you leak a lot of milk like i do, don’t forget you are wearing them and bend over….the milk pours out through the holes oops!! A brilliant product which will really help you to continue to breastfeed, especially in those early days.

I bought this as some one recomended it to me, it’s an amazing product and I highly recomend it. It’s a great help for sore nipples not to rub up against your bra or clothes. Also it collects milk that leaks out so while out and about there isnt any wet patches on your clothes. I have tried the breast pads for the leakages but didnt help as much as this did. The holes also help air circulate.

These saved me in the early days of breastfeeding, when even wearing clothes was too painful. Just pop these inside your bra and they will make sure nothing comes into contact with your painful nips! The air holes make sure there is plenty ventilation.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI bought these due to pain in the initial weeks of breastfeeding, and they’ve been a life line. I couldn’t even stand having a shower as even water on my skins was painful. You pop these into your bra to stop any chaffing, and they help with healing by getting air to circulate around the skin – that’s what the holes are for. The previous reviewer said that milk leaked through these – and yes it does so you need to be careful but the holes are needed. You can buy another type of shell for milk collection – which looks exactly the same with no holes, it has a spout for pouring the milk into a bottle. Both are made of the same material and can be sterilised.
I about to buy a couple for my sister who’s just started breastfeeding
