Would definitely recommend this bag!! Bought this to travel abroad with my baby and store my breast milk and am amazed. The ice block is very good and the bag is nice and compact so can fit anywhere. It kept my breast milk cool for more than 8 hours which is a bonus.
When I first bought this product I did think it was too expensive but I was desperate at the time. I have to say i am impressed with it. One day I sent it to nursery with LO were it was in the fridge druing the day, we forgot to put the spare milk back in the fridge, it was out for 6 hours. I was sure the milk would be off as the cool block had not been in the freezer all day to keep it cold. I was amazed when it was still very cold after.
This nifty cooler bag with bottles has given us the freedom to get out and about with our baby. I fill up the bottles with expressed milk and keep them in the fridge and last minute before we go out for the day I take the cooler thing out of the freezer to put in the cooler bag with the bottles. When I’m out I either take a thermos flask and a reusable coffee cup or ask for a cup of boiling water and I stick one of the bottles in the hot water to take the chill out of the milk. So handy! It would be even better if the bottles allowed you to put teats on them.
Great little bag for carting around my milk. It kept things nice and cool while I was out and about with work. Nice size and houses 4 small medela milk bottles easily.
Bag is sturdy and well made, the freezer block fits well either way in the bag and seems to stay frozen for hours when out of the freezer but that naturally depends on the heat of your environment.
Even though the cooler bag suffers the same issues as any other passive cooler bag (won’t keep the stuff cold for extremely long times) the bottles and the bag are extremely handy. We have been using to store expressed milk for long time.
Bought for when I went back to work as the fridge at work is often too full for me to store my pumped milk in, and also I don’t trust it won’t get tampered with or contaminated so I bought this and it’s perfect.
The bottles are spot on in terms of size, and fit into the bag perfectly, abd should a decent amount of milk. and the ice pack fits around all the bottles and keeps them cold for hours. I take it out of the freezer in the morning when I leave for work, so around 7:20am and it’s still cold when I get back at 6:30pm.
Would be great for travelling as well as work, or basically for any time you can’t get to a fridge to store that precious liquid gold.
Purchased for return to work. Great, keeps bottled chilled from 8am-6pm for me when kept inside my pump bag which is also insulated. May need to go in fridge if v hot weather returns.
Love shaped ice pack. I have also used with medela milk storage bags for extra capacity.
The bottles stay basically fridge cold during a day trip which is perfect for peace of mind.
The ice block does seem to freeze quickly too.
Medela bottles are my favourite for both milk storage and pumping into, these bottles are no different.
This is a lovely quality breast milk storage cooler bag. Will be using it when I go back to work at 6 weeks. Not used it yet but unpackaged it. The bottles are also lovely and they all fit perfectly inside. Worth paying a bit extra for something like this. It’s also compact which is really nice.
Love this… I needed one for work and I love it.. I put my little portable pump in side aswell .. It gets tight but I’m able to close my bag ..
Well made. Comes with 4bottles which is handy. The ice pack lasts 10hours even in hot temperatures. Especially handy through the recent heatwave. I use it every day even just to put ready made feeds in if going out for the day.
Love this, saved me whilst i was at uni and had o pump there amd transport the milk back home in my 1.5hr commute as well as if i was travelling abroad
Great for taking milk out – freezer block stays very cold and as it wraps around the milk perfectly, so does the milk so I’m confident it stays fresh and safe for my little one to drink.
Arrived promptly. Product works exactly as expected. Nice and compact. Great for keeping milk fresh. I use it daily at work to store the milk that I express. A little pricey for a cool bag but it does come with 4 Medela bottles. Would recommend.
Excellent. I use this for both night time feeds and going out. What would make it perfect is bottle lids and room to put the teats on as I have to bring them separately in another tub.
I use a Medela pump with the associated Medela bottles; these are a perfect fit for the bag. My only criticism is that the bottles don’t fit in when the teat and cap is attached. This isn’t an issue for me as I just pop the teat and cap in separately but it’s something to be aware of. Another reviewer mentioned that the teat will fit if it is turned inside out – good tip!
At work I just bring two bottles and am able to fit the Medela Feestyle pump attachments into the bag too – I find this very convenient.
I usually store my milk in the bag in the fridge but, if the fridge is full, I just keep the bag under my desk. I freeze the cool pack every night and, even if not in the fridge, the bag and ice pack will keep the milk just as cold as the fridge will for at least 6 hours.
The small Medela bottles fit perfectly. The ice block is shaped to allow for the bottles and provides a perfect fit (and thus perfect cooling/insulation).
I also like that the bag is subtle and professional looking – it makes it ideal for carrying to and from work.
I highly recommend this product and feel like it has made my expressing journey simpler (so much so that I bought a second one so I could bring one to work and send one with my daughter each day). The only real downside is the cost. It does seem expensive but I believe that it’s worth it for the practicality and the quality – my first bag has been in use since 2014 and still looks as good as new.
This is a great product. Just the right size. The freezer pack is a decent size so keeps the milk cold for a long time. Everything fits well in the bag so stays cool. It’s a really good quality cool bag that’s sturdy and durable.
brilliant little pack and ideal for mums on the go expressing. my partner takes one to the hospital with her so she can express through the day and we send the newest edition to nursery with one so she has fresh milk avaliable for her meal times.
only problem we had was the pop out tops we not a very tight fit on the last order and would fall out when unscrewed.
Not giving 5 stars because it is expensive for what it is!!! That said, I have a medela breastpump so it is very convenient to take with me to work, it fits easily in my bag pack and keeps the milk really cold (even with the ice pack spending the day in the office’s fridge as there is no freezer)!
It is well insulated but I wonder if having bought a thermal bag and an ice pack separately wouldn’t have done the trick too!
I am a doctor and I am trying to maintain the breastfeeding. This little bag helped me a lot carrying around all the precious milk. Tha only problem ? You can’t put in the larger bottles
I ordered this with a spare calma top and two spare silicone teats and they all came as one package and were delivered next day. This is perfect for storing milk both after expressing or using formula. Would recommend to anyone.
I found it very useful when I came back to work (to transfer the milk back home) and when I left for a weekend with my husband. I would like it also to be available in another size too (for larger bootles).
I guess you could get a coolbag and icepack cheaper that aren’t specifically meant for the medela bottles, but I am pleased with my purchase.
