4th time buying this item, once for my kids then as gifts after that. Its always a favorite and has multiple learning functions so that’d a bonus. Wouldn’t be without it.

If your looking for a tall stacker this is not for you. When it came thought it was small. On reflection it depends how much space you have for toys ! The toddlers enjoy stacking even if smaller .. if you want larger get plastic!

Nice but it’s much smaller than it looks in the pictures

This is a colourful and inviting toy, suitable for toddlers. It will be very durable and is study. I wouldn’t recommend for under 18 months without supervision. The long wooden pole can pose a problem with eyes, mouth etc. Also with a baby swinging it and hurting themselves.

Holds up to the quality we all expect from a m and d product. Twins have spent ages playing with it. Excellent as a gift as it’s lovely quality

Ordered a few toys for my non-verbal daughter and they were the ones used by the speech therapist. Magnetic and much better, harder as well which makes them durable.

Looks exactly like the photo. My child loves it. Very durable- it’s still together after many repeated bashed against the radiator! Surprisingly no paint has chipped off either. So glad I bought this one rather than any others.

Bright and cheerful. Good for adults (who want to be children) and young children. Wood is sturdy and unlikely to splinter easily. Mind you given its heaviness, if thrown, will lead to pain and bruises upon impact, as well as uncontrollable howling. Much like Boris J.

Nice wooden toy, a bit smaller than I expected (I didn’t check) but it was on offer so I dont mind. Colourful and I’m sure baby will enjoy one day!

Colourful, durable toy which baby loves caring around and chewing. Am sure she’ll equally love stacking the colours when she’s a little bit older but great all around for developing her colour recognition and all kinds of other concepts including noise when she’s banging them together!

My little boy is 8 months and loves playing with the little blocks. He especially loves clinking them dropping them on the tiles in my kitchen. I don’t let him play with the wooden pole that holds them up as i think hes too young for that and it he might hurt himself but he will love stacking all the blocks ontop of each other when hes a bit older!

Bought as a gift for youngest grandson so is still in packaging! Looks good quality and value for money! Looks sturdy and durable, colourful and appealing for younger children! A++++

Braught this as a gift for my daughter .. the product it’s self is good BUT I was extremely wary of the stand as the wood has a point to it so was extremely cautious of my daughter using it in case of an injury other than that good product and very durable!

There is nothing wrong with the toy at all, it is a very sturdy and nicely made little toy. I was surprisised it was so The toy is rather small – my fault, I didn’t check any measurments. However it is a pefectly functional size, and being made of wood, it is probably better to be small or it would be too heavy.

I bought it for my 14 month-old granddaughter and I have had a couple of problems:

    1. our cockapoo loves running off with the rings and chewing them (obviously not the fault of the toy), and

    2. our little darling spends most of the time running around wielding the stacking pole like a marauding viking so much so that we have had to confiscate it to avoid injury to herself, the dog or ourselves. This somewhat defeats the object of the toy other than discuss colours sizes etc so I think it is better for when she is a bit older.

Very happy with this – feels very good quality and well made, especially for the money. I love that it’s wood rather than plastic too! Only negative is that it’s very small, but he still loves playing with i

These was a great toy when my kid was younger but I got sick of putting them together 2 times a day and finding the pieces everywhere that I actually took it away.. it’s one of those totes that I dreaded her playing with.. if I were you id get a simple stacker, not a set of 3, it’s a pain in the a***

Haven’t opened due to it being a present but can already see one block isn’t in the best condition, it looks like it’s previously been damaged and has then been repainted badly and sent back out. However despite that I do these these there bright, sturdy and eye catching.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for a prese

10 month old baby likes it. He can’t stack or put the rings into the stick yet, but he likes the rings themselves and enjoy taking them out from the stick.
But as shown in the the pictures attached, finish inside rings is not perfect – not so smooth nor evenly coloured but it’s not dangerous or sharp for little hands, so I am okay with that.

4.0 out of 5 stars 10 month old likes it but uneven finish

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBought these as a gift for a friend’s child but was so surprised at the size and quality of the item, and value for money that I decided to keep these and order another for the gift. Really delighted with these, they look great on display (I’ve just found the missing piece from the photo under my couch – it did come with a full set!) My one year old loves playing with them, great colours and opportunities for play. Will definitely be ordering more of these for gifts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Delighted - excellent value for money

good toy but i did end up finding a few of the rings started getting tight or jamming so i had to use my drill to wear away from of the wood to stop it from being jammed. otherwise, a toy which is still being used a year on by my kid. happy days.

Although this is smaller than I expected it to be, it’s still a great toy. My little boy loves the colours and tipping all the parts onto the floor. He’s not quite worked out putting them back on, but I’m sure that will be an entertaining novelty for him, when he does. I’m sure this toy will last for a long time and is much more durable made from wood than plastic. It’s obviously better for the environment too.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is my daughter’s favourite toy!
She has lots of wooden toys and some plastic toys. This is her favourite as she loves to pull the rings off. Since she could sit she loves to dismantle then crawl and play with the rings on the floor. The next stage is learning how to re-stack. My older children love to play with this toy with the baby too. Fun for all!
The toy still looks new. The colours don’t run, no chipping or flaking. The rings have been gnawed and thrown but looks perfect.
The only criticism is the red ball on top sits about 1cm above the top ring so it doesnt look exactly like the photos as advertised.

    I’d still highly recommend!

After playing with one of these at someone elses house, we decided to buy one for our 18 month year old son. He loves it!!!!. The product appears to be very well made. A few of the shapes were slightly out of ‘perfect shape’, but i think that adds to the whole ‘hand-made’ feel to the toy. Paint seems to be holding out well after 2 weeks of daily use.

The upright pegs have not drifted or loosened, which is usually the case with similar poorer quality products.
    Thumbs up, would recommend .

The product is extremely well made and each ring is chunky and safe for little ones (bought for my grandson aged 18 months). The reason I’ve not given it a 5 star review is that the pieces are heavier than I thought they would be and he has thrown one of them at his 4 year old sister! The red ‘ball’ on the top doesn’t fix down or screw on and keeps falling off when he picks the stack up after completing it. I spend quite a lot of time on my knees retrieving it from under a table or chair!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTwo and half year old granddaughter loves playing and doing the many variations, whether with colour shape of just to see how high she can stack things, with this geometric stacker. Though I wish Melissa & Doug manufacturers would supply wooden boxes with lids with some of their variety of wooden toys. Bits can get lost – this one not too bad as they have the ‘post’ in middle to hold together. I would happily pay a few pounds extra for a box that could contain particular toys, especially ones with lots of little pieces.

This product was bought in October 2015 for my son (who was 19 months at the time) to improve his concentration and hand-eye coordination. He has been playing with it for over 8 weeks now and absolutely loves it.

    Build:
    – The stacker is made of superior quality wood
    – It includes a solid wood base with a pole along with 8 rings, all in different diameters
    – All rings are painted in attractive colors
    – The color of the pieces does not shed/come off e.g. when rubbed against another surface
    – There is no danger of the wood fragmenting and causing splinters, and hence is totally safe when used by little hands
    – All pieces are painted in attractive rainbow colors as follows:
    1 piece in Violet
2 pieces in shades of blue
2 pieces in shades of green
    1 piece in yellow
    1 piece in orange
1 piece in red (the round one at the top)
NOTE: Please note that the stacker that was received is different to the one depicted in the picture. The pieces are slightly different in color (e.g. no black piece, and only 1 red piece at the top etc.) but this is not an issue as it still comes in very vibrant colors and is in no way defective.

    Suitability & Safety
    – The toy Is suitable for my son’s age but it isn’t exactly a ‘soft’ toy so care is needed if allowing younger children to play with it (I would not give this to a child that is under 18 months old). We first gave it to our son when he was about 18 months old
    – The pole attached to the wooden base is not sharp and hence does not pose any risk, but I would still take extra care as a toddler may still get hurt if he/she falls on the pole
    – It does not have any sharp edges
    – The toy does not particularly pose a choking hazard as even the smallest of the pieces is too big for a toddler to swallow
    – It is robust and sturdy enough – the pieces have survived being dropped from the top of the staircase (1 storey house) so many times that I have now lost count. Despite, this, there has been no obvious visible damage.

    Conclusion
    – I have noticed that my son’s hand-eye coordination has improved in just a couple of weeks of playing with the toy and hence the toy certainly does help with learning
    – He finds removing the rings as enjoyable as stacking them
    – He not only enjoys his toy but is gradually also learning about colors/shapes

We were looking for good wooden toys, and this is certainly one of them. Even though our son somehow managed to break off one of the pegs connecting the carriages, as it was wood it was easily glued back on again. (If this had been plastic, it would have been a write-off.) One minor issue with quality-control on the unit we received — it seems like it had been assembled in the factory before the paint was completely dry, so the blocks were slightly stuck together and the paint where they touched came off in separating them. But you know at least that this will take a beating and still be there even when other toys have long since been destroyed. It is a good size as well.

I bought this as a 1st birthday present for my cousin and while he’s a bit young for it right now he can definitely grow into it. We adults even had loads of fun playing with it! The pieces stack well, it moves smoothly, and the parts are chunky and easy to grip. You can also use the blocks on their own to build other shapes. Great for encouraging hand-eye co-ordination and colour and shape recognition.

Two things that let it down
    1) I noticed the paint had come off one of the blocks where he had chewed it.
    2) A presentation box or bag to store the pieces when not in use would be useful, as I can imagine the blocks getting lost.

    But a good buy overall.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI gave this to a child that I mind for Christmas and he loves it, he is a little young as he is almost 1 but I thought it was a toy that he would grow into and his older sister who is almost 3 could help him play with it.

He loves taking all the blocks off and banging them together and it is well made enough to withstand this constant battering.

I would highly recommend this item over the ones I saw in our local stores and as it is slightly bigger and more durable than they looked and it was about the same price as them.

Brilliant fun for years to come and possibley a toy that will stand the test of time and not end up in a bin but can be passed on to someone else.
