Bought this watch for my husband as he likes a watch with an hourly charm, the display screen is very easy to read & simple to set up. Would definitely buy again. Quick delivery also.
I got this watch as I needed one to use to tell the time. This watch was so simple to get the time and date set on it that anyone could get this. It has on the top left a button that will light up the time and date to tell you the exact time and it’s not bright enough to irritate anyone else in the room.
Watch arrived quickly, well packaged. Bought as a present, recipient happy so based on that a good purchase.
Like the way it looks chunky but is slim enough not to be catching on things when working. The time is so easy read lights up as well good for day & night.
No dislike, it’s big, can be seen without glasses, and is good for work
Arrived the next day, well packaged. Large clear numerals, excellent back light. Timer function is very easy to use unlike some watches. It’s more ‘water resistant’ than ‘water-proof’ and as long as you treat it as such it should be fine. Bought as a sailing watch so it will get wet but not immersed for long periods so hopefully it will last. Big, chunky, easy to read, easy to set up and very easy to use. How long the strap will last is a concern but at this price I’m happy to take the risk. So far I am extremely pleased with it.
Quality of the case it arrived in . Easy to read and change the date and time. Can wash hands and leave watch on as water proof for just that.
Wear this most days simple to use no fancy mind boggling nonsense
Although I no longer SCUBA, I was disappointed that the watch is only splash resistant. Other than that I am happy with it.
The display is perfect, has all the features I require from a simplistic watch, only issue is the strap is made from a very rigid plastic which chafes my wrist. Perhaps a more rubberised strap would be better.
Large digital face, easy access to secondary functions .. great time keeping. Bargain price!

I recently ordered a similar watch from Amazon but gave it away to a friend who genuinely liked it. I was looking to replace, saw this advertised and ordered. It’s a great watch and delivers all of the basic information I need and I can actually read the information which I couldn’t do on the other watch. This product is excellent and delivers everything that you would expect from a decent watch.
Bought it for work. Does what it says. Good for the price.
Nice display and easy to read – even at an angle. So better than others in this respect. So far, keeping good time. Assuming waterproofing is as described but note that not advised for swimming, despite the logo displayed on the strap. Not a problem for me. Quite comfortable to wear.
I liked everything apart from the stiff strap, having said that once it was done up it was not noticeable just when doing up. Only gave the waterproof a middle score due to not (just in case) having tested it.
Easy to read, easy to use and waterproof, all that I need from a watch. Fed up of smashing 90 G-Shocks at work.. initially worried about the waterproofing, but no need, I don’t remove for the shower.

The watch is just as I expected. legible to read, looks just as shown in photo, durable and looks more expensive than it is. If I want to be pernickety, it would be on the strap. It tends to come off the strap fastener a little too often than my easily-frustrated self can accommodate. Still, I like the watch and wear it quite often. says a lo
I have now used this watch daily since October 2020 (6 months). I am a security engineer and need a watch that keeps perfect time and is easy to read.
This very reasonably priced watch digital watch is just perfect. The night light is fantastic, and the basic functions are easy to use. I synced it with an online atomic clock when first bought, it has only 2 seconds behind now, that’s pretty damn good.
The only minor gripes I have is that the words around the bezel are wearing off a little, and during my working day I’ll check the time, only to see that the stopwatch is running. Obviously activated by accident whilst bending my wrist, but this is very rare and easily reverted back.
These very minor gripes have knocked one star off, but take it from me for 18 or so, this a a great and reliable watch.
I may even buy another to keep as a spare.
Well it certainly is no Seiko or Casio g-shock but the quality is far better than I expected. First the strap, well it’s soft, pliable & comfortable to wear. The sections nearest the watch are fixed in place & are not flexible at all, this may seem to be a bad idea but in practice it works well as the fixed part is angled so the watch sits perfectly on the wrist & is less likely to slide around, in fact it just stays put; so far so good. The watch is of course quite large. This is it’s selling point, 46mm across edge to edge & the display is 33mm, the designers have chosen to fill this real estate with a much larger led display than normal; it’s huge in comparison. The daylight display is crisp, contrasty & given the size very easy to read. I have mine set in the 24 hour mode, the display reads a 2 character day, the month & the date on the top line; note the date arrangement is in the US format -month then date, not the European format of day/date but I can live with that.
As stated earlier the hours/minute figures are huge, 10mm high! The third line is the second figure, as I have my watch set to the 24 hour mode the A or P (am/pm) marker disappears. Over all then top marks for the display, no clutter. The case is of course plastic & there are minor moulding marks, but then those lines are also present on Casios too! No surprise at this price point there is an acrylic face.
The time is very easy to set as the 4 buttons work well. I went stealth mode, removed the logo & the water depth marking with very fine wet/dry sandpaper & then an even finer grade to polish out any sanding marks. The night display? unusually this isn’t the typical backlit display, the backscreen is not illuminated, the figures change from black to glowing green, which is rather nice; not the brightest perhaps, but more than bright enough to read. Absolutely no complaints there.
The stop watch facility is good, a press of the mode button brings you directly into the stopwatch, pressing a second button starts the timer, press the button again the timer stops & a third press starts it again where it left off. Pressing the third button resets the timer to 0. Press the mode button twice gets you into alarm mode. It’s not the loudest of alarms but it’s ok.
The watch came operating so there’s no way of knowing how much battery life is left. The battery is a CR2025 easily obtainable & inexpensive. The back presumably stainless steel is secured by 4 screws so unless you are cack handed you can change the battery easily enough yourself or have jeweler do it.
Waterproof? I suspect this is where it’s not so good. The manufacturer advises against operating the buttons while underwater, the suggests that the watch is not fully sealed & pressing the buttons breaks the seal allowing the ingress of water. So not fully waterproof then, I wouldn’t risk it in a shower or pool, but hey it’s only 10, if you want a functional waterproof watch look elsewhere.
So in conclusion this is a very decent watch at a silly low price. I love it!

INTRO
From a young age, my father gave me his bug for timepieces: over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to buy dozens of watches from the likes of Tag Heuer and Zenith to some of the most affordable watchmakers selling their products on Amazon.
Here, I am aiming to confirm if this watch is worth your consideration as a present for a loved one or for yourself.
CONTEXT
I bought this watch in January 2018, during one of amazon’s daily deal offers. The watch had about 450 customer reviews and a score of 4.4. I paid 9.99 instead of the regular 11.99.
DELIVERY
As usual, the watch was well-packed and it was delivered quickly via amazon Prime.
BOX
It is a very simple, small square-shaped box. Except for the label, there is only the brand name and logo on the front.
Inside, in regards to accessories you only have a tiny instruction manual, a small cleaning cloth and an international warranty card. There is no additional padding, but the watch is decently protected I guess.
CIVO is obviously related to the Megalith brand (or vice-versa): they provide the exact same packaging and accessories.
DESIGN
At first sight, the watch looks big and the display comes across as incredibly easy to read.
On both sides of the case you will find two buttons. They are all sturdy and easy to operate.
As mentioned previously, by default, the screen offers outstandingly good visibility. Additionally, you can also trigger the backlight button (top left) which turns the black font into a cool indigo colour easily readable in the dark.
Please note that the watch is very light, which is good or bad depending on your taste.
Here, the watch comes with a rubber strap which does the job: it is comfortable and it didn’t irritate my skin.
FEATURES
This watch comes fully-featured: 50M waterproof; 12 digits LCD display for time, week and date; Daily alarm and chime hourly; 12/24H format selectable, auto calendar; 1/100 seconds chronograph; EL backlight.
CONCLUSION
For just above 10, this sporty watch offers outstanding value. This is an excellent buy for anyone who is looking for a cheap, almost disposable second watch to wear outside of work, in the gym or on vacation.
It would also be a great gift for the senior citizens in your life.

The tips of the hands are a slightly darker blue, and the 5-minute markers don’t contrast enough with the background so it’s difficult to get an accurate reading except in a brightly-lit area. The glass face doesn’t sit completely flush with the frame – it’s raised maybe half a millimetre – and the wrist band can jiggle about a little where it’s attached to the watch. Opening the clasp is a bit of a nightmare, and can result in an injured finger from the way it’s designed. If it doesn’t loosen up I’ll need to forcefully loosen it because it’s a genuine pain.
Size adjustment was simple, though the thinner end of the adjustment tool bent completely when trying to lever open the thingy. It’s not the most comfortable watch to wear because the very edges of the wristband can be rough on the skin in certain situations.
But I expected these things given its price, so nevertheless the watch has an clean, attractive design that doesn’t look cheap (well, perhaps the band does). We’ll see if they hold to their promise of a 2-year warranty.
