Used other brands and have not been as for but this was easy to put up and easy to use app included – brilliant product buying again for my daughters room
Really good leds can go round tight corners due to the thickness of the lights. Haven’t had any issues with them so far adhesive seems pretty good as there’s nothing peeling
Brought these for sons birthday, easy to put up although not sure how long they will stick on cold walls. It was harder to stick these on to the outside wall due to it being cold although they eventually stuck. The music mode goes crazy at times so not sure that this works great. But apart from that my 14 year old loves them
I bought this for my little sister and my self, we are both very happy and it works amazingly. 1 little problem was the fact that the double sided tape dries fast if you don’t stick it fast after taking of the wrap, thankfully we only had this problem for about 30cm strip, easily fixed with some glue. The voice sensor is also amazing and you can adjust the sensitivity on the app!
The LED strip comes in 2 x 15 metre rolls. The LEDs are very bright and colourful. The controller for them works great. There are about 15 different colours and many patterns to choose from.
The only downside is to just measure the room you’re putting the LEDs in, because if you get a wrong amount, you will end up with too little too finish the perimeter if the room, or you will have to double up the LEDs to use them up.
Got it for a teenager and it is absolutely brilliant.
Super easy to install, the strip is super sticky and has many modes, colour options, dimmer etc. Very happy with this product.
I like the product as it brightens up my room but the one small problem is that one small part doesn’t turn blue, white or purple. I don’t want to send it back but I would like to know what I can do?

Really good for the money, a good variation of colours, effects and combinations of both. Made even better by being able to control them with an app on your phone, especially if they’re for teens (as this was) that a prone to losing the remote. They already have stick tape on the reverse so you’re basically good to go.
Best ever quality easy string stick and has plenty of settings one being the lights go to the best of the song u listen to if loud enough have used them to do two huge bedrooms all way , and amazing only comes with one remote and adapter wish had two as it’s done two rooms but easy to buy x
Instructions average. Managed to install around my bed and the remote does work but really needs to point directly to sensor so factor this in during installation. Adhesive is a bit temperamental too. Picture shows glow from being applied to bottom of bed frame

Simple to put up, sticks well and 1 roll went around the whole room, so i brought another power cable and done the same to my daughters room too! the downside is the length of the power cable, if sticking near the ceiling like i did the cable needs to be plugged into an extension led that can be placed 2/3ft off the ground.
The main concern of this unit, and may not affect you if you only plan on using the remote (details later), is the app. The app connects via Bluetooth, unlike other sets I have set up around the house that use WiFi connection, this impacts the battery life on the controller device greatly. I use one tablet to house the apps for my numerous LED lights around the house. The WiFi lights have no issue with connection, but this app drops its connection regularly, and this, needs to be brought back into range before the app is usable again. Personally, I find the app VERY limited in functionality. I normally set up timers for my lights to turn on and off. However, with this app, you only get three configuration allowances. I like to set a daily on/off time that is different at the weekends to week days. This means I can set one on and an off for, say weekdays, but then can only set an on or an off for the weekends requiring further input to complete a ‘sequence’. Overall, the app (illumi home) is very sluggish at responding to user input and lags way behind other apps (such as Magic Home Pro which is far more configurable and responsive). However, the input sensing options respond to visual/auditory input well, so I have to give it a plus for that.
On the other hand, if the app is of no use to you and you only want to use the lights via remote control, then I can’t fault the kit. The remote is one of the best I have in my home set up. If you find that the default colours on the remote do not match with what you are hoping for, then you can manually alter the hue, to your desired colour by increasing/decreasing the Red, Blue and Green Up/Down keys on the remote.
