My wife loves this machine. She always wanted a Miele washing machine, now she has one and is very pleased with it, does every thing she needs it to do and at a great price.
I was doubting if the price would be worth the appliance.
I’ve always used major brands of washers and been happy enough until I’ve seen what the difference in a quality manufacturer like this is
The machine is so quite when running even when on its fastest spin of 1400 you could sleep in the same room as it!
Everyone in the home can notice the difference in the washing and we are using the same detergent this machine clearly is doing a much better wash than my previous machine which was only 2y old.
The wash programs a easiest to customise there’s no silly little menu options to faff with it’s got pre set cycles with the dial and you simply alter the temp or spin speed to suit your washing load.
Instal was easy but the transportation bolts in the rear are like nothing I’ve seen on a machine before. They are at least 1ft in length, I actually thought I’d removed the wrong part.
The spanner for removing the bolts is hidden in the very bottom of the packaging in the side of the styrofoam. Unfortunately I didn’t find it till I was clearing away but I just used a pair or Plumbers grips to remove the bolts.
Very sturdy machine and easy to level on our floor.
Pleased to say if your doubting the price tag but can afford it, then go for it!
This really does feel like a machine that will last me all my days.
Never disappointed with Miele. My last Miele washing machine lasted for almost 16 years without any breakdowns or problems. Nice relatively simple and easy to use machine that works very well and is so much quieter than the old one. Super quiet washing machine. We alway running the machine on midnight, very quiet and no noise, you can’t feeling the machine is running. No useless gimmicks, just a very good washing machine. Easy to set up and install. I also like that it looks very similar to my old machine so still matches our Miele tumble dryer. Only issue is the machine is very very heavy, but looks very strong and durable. High recommend.
Had my old Miele washing machine 18 years. I hope I get the same wear out of this one.
The Miele washing machine was as expected from a quality manufacturer like Miele. So far everything is as expected, good performance, reliable washing, quick wash is a really nice feature. The 8kg drum is a smaller than our other washing machine but since we have options it’s not a problem for us.

Any washing machine engineer I’ve talked to has said they are the best. Costs a bit more, but definitely worth it. Because of the technology the machine is ‘kinder’ to clothes, they don’t come out creased as much.
Simple controls and easy to adjust programme , e.g. Spin speed. You don’t need an app or degree in systems control systems to operate it.
It really is pretty quiet and looks nice in kitchen.
Cleans well excepting some programmes don’t seem to do anything.
Maybe it costs a bit more than others but spares will be available past manufacture run date and it will in all likelihood be reliable.
