I bought this months ago and it has come in super handy for this UK heatwave! I love that it’s portable so I can use it around the house no matter what I’m doing! Nice and quiet too.

Very well made fan quiet on low, with a powerfull fan at higher speeds.
This is a must have item during hot weather, battery life is good its lightweight and really cools me down.
I bought this fan for my plant cabinet but unfortunately it is too big for the cabinet. Fan is powerful and looks sturdy with 4 different setting and battery long last. But I have say after level 3 fan start to make a noise.
This fan comes with a charging cable and an “s” shaped hook, so you can hang it anywhere that you can attach a hook.
This fan is practical and great if you need a fan, but those around you don’t. This works great as a personal fan, keeping you cool but does not interfere with anyone else in the room like larger fans can.
This was so beneficial when we had both of the heatwaves during the summer as it can be hung practically anywhere. Both myself and my husband used it, I around the house ( even in the bathroom when taking a shower to cool the room down) and my husband when working away found it beneficial to hang from a bunk to keep him cool as he slept on a lower bunk ( for work purposes). I prefer the large loop to hang personally over balancing it using it’s movable arm as I felt there was more scope to angle when hung than when seated on a flat surface. It comes with a USB cable to charge and has 4 speeds (low, medium, high and a wave effect).
This fan is brilliant! Charge up using usb lead and you get many hours of use between charges. Comes with a loop and a hook so you can hang it from various places. I used it in a beach tent hanging from the roof and it was perfect for keeping our baby cool! Not noisy at all, lightweight too!
I got these for my stables. You have to have your face an inch away to feel it on full power. Full power only lasts 4 hours so a waste of money
The portable fan it was delivered on time and very well packed. It is lightweight and the size is pretty good to make it possible to use it in a variety of ways and wherever you do not need cold air to avoid unbearable heat. The product comes with a handle which it can be adjusted for different angles and also it comes with a hook that makes it possible to hang or mount anywhere. The product is ideal for camping because it can be installed both indoors and outdoors and is also equipped with a 4000mAh rechargeable battery and can last quite a long time with a single charge. Also it has 4 different levels. The charging source is a USB cable that you connect wherever you can even to the computer. A few shades, no noise, work efficiently, mini size for transportation and quality. Of course, in nature you can say that you go to get rid of the comfort of home but believe that once you use this product outdoors you will fall in love and take it anywhere. I’m very happy with this product and I really would recommend it to everyone
Pretty neat fan, handy in many ways. The battery life didn’t last as long as I’d like on full power during a hot spell whilst camping, but otherwise works well and and has a rotatable base to make it free standing and a fabric strap that you can use to hang it up.
A desk fan I got previously mysteriously died, so when this one came I was pleasantly surprised by how effective and big it is, a full 18cm across and a useful range of 4 speeds, The lowest is pretty quiet, the others less so. On slow speed the makers claim that the decently sized 4000mAh battery will run it for 27 hours. I think this one will be for our older grandson, who has quite a warm bedroom. The fan can sit anywhere and also hang from above and is reasonably capable of keeping a whole small room feel cooler.
I have a bed tent around my bed and this hanging fan has been very useful to have to keep me and my dogs cool when it is warm.
It clips on to the top of the bed tent and I can switch the fan levels as needed. It would have been even peefect if there was a remote control as I have to get up in bed to manually change the levels.
I like the noise of fans to fall asleep to like white noise and it is like any other fan noise wise.
I also use it when growing my microgreens. It controls the humidity levels and is handy to have especially being USB based so I don’t have to use too much electricity, as I charge it from my solar panels.

The product I received was a portable desk fan.
This is a good sized fan, which you have the option of standing on a flat surface or hanging using the hanging loop and hook (supplied). The fan can be charged up by using the USB cable (supplied), once fully charged you can get around 4hrs-27hrs of use (depending on speed). To turn on, you simply press the button on the back of the unit and then you have the choice of four speeds – one (low) to four (high) and then press the button again to switch off. You can move the fan forwards/backwards to get the right direction of airflow and when on it is nice and quiet.
This is a good product, ideal for travelling with a handy hook/hanging loop, that works well and gives off a good amount of airflow. Would recommend.
I really like this fan, here’s why you might like it too:
– It’s compact and specifically designed to be hung up with the leather loop attached.
– It’s powerful with 4 speed setting that deliver an amazingly cool breeze that projects a good distance more than you’d expect from such a small fan.
– It’s relatively quiet.
– It’s understated in its design and looks unobtrusive.
– The fan can be rotated 360 degrees (forwards and backwards, not sideways).
– It’s really sturdy and feels like great quality.
– It’s USB chargeable, so no plug or batteries to worry about.
– It’s reasonably priced considering the quality of the fan and the effective cooling it delivers.
Things that could have been better:
– The hanging loop is a fixed, closed loop that’s not removable or adjustable and a metal S hook is provided to avoid having to feed the fan loop through the end of every object. Personally I found the S hook a bit limiting and precarious at times and I think a press stud fastener or a buckle on the actual loop might have been better (but I think it just depends where you want to hang the fan).
– The button is positioned at the back of the fan which can be hard to reach and fiddle with when the fan’s been hung up (a basic remote control would be a great addition here).
– No low battery indicator.
Having used several different fans from the Mint Houz branded range, I have to add here that their fans have superior build quality compared to many similar unbranded fans at the same sort of price – the plastic is sturdy and the fans are all designed with a contemporary aesthetic that I love. I think if the few niggles are not deal-breakers for you, this is definitely a great fan and worth the price if you specifically need a fan that can be hung up. Don’t get it if you need to ALSO use it as a desktop fan; there’s no stable base on this fan so it will topple.
First impressions are great, it’s a larger than average fan, it has 4 speeds, it’s rechargeable and can be mounted either by the hanging hook or alternatively it can be screwed to a tripod.
The fan has a large battery and really long continuous use, see times below:
Constant usage time at speed 1:

Died: 10:53am 26th May
24 hours 30 minutes continuous use which is excellent! Running at higher speeds will obviously affect the usage time.
The fan cage can be rotated 360 on its vertical axis which has locking click positions so it won’t inadvertently tilt while in use, there isn’t a way to adjust the horizontal position if it’s mounted on the hook, this might be a problem if there is limited space to move the hook around. Mounting to a tripod is pretty good as the screw is the same size as the standard fitting screw so it can be used on a lot of tripods, standing the fan alone on the base is okay, it can fall pretty easily if it’s knocked so the tripod or hanging options are the best way to use this fan.
Although it’s a little larger than your average USB fan, it’s definitely got great airflow power, it’s not very loud and is a great item for 18.99.

It’s well built and has a single power button repeat press to cycle speed
It can’t go from speed 4 to 1 though you have to switch it of and back on but it’s ideal for camping or fishing etc
Not very loud infact it’s pretty quiet expecially on 1 and 2
On 4 it’s audible but still just like any other
The design is quite good and it has little blue dot lights to display current setting battery life is OK it’s reasonable lasts a good while on low dies much quicker on full not a bad fan at all in my opinio
I am a fan of this fan. It’s just the right size for my desktop and can move a good enough amount of air to keep me cool. It’s not silent by any means, but in the office where there is a fair amount of ambient sound it is fine. I’m not sure I could cope with it in my bedroom though. Small fans have to run fast to move a useful amount of air – silence is not possible.
I like the stand which can be adjusted to my preferred angle and it locks firmly in place. There is also a convenient loop so it can be hung on a hook or something to blow down if desired.
Battery life so far seems to match the claimed spec.. On my desk I keep the charger plugged in all the time so it won’t run out for me anyway. It seems to run slightly faster while the charger is on, but it only draws a tiny amount of power (my watt meter doesn’t show any draw at all so it’s probably just a trickle charge at <1w or something).
If there is something I don't like it is the power switch. It cycles through the fan speeds to off so you have to press it a few times to turn it off. I'd prefer the power and speed controls to be separate.
The overall build quality is fairly good and the price seems fair.
This is a pretty powerful fan with great battery lift ( 4000 mAh )
It is quite quiet, even on the max speed of 4.
It also comes with a hook and a strap for hanging.
To use it as a standing fan on a desk, more could have been done on the stand, to make it more stable / and adjustable angle. ie: a fan dock or something to screw one ( as there is already a thread hole )
The price is great – better on the black colour for over 15 with code.
This arrived well packaged in a retail box and inside you get the Fan, USB-C to USB-A Cable, S-Shaped Hook, and Instructions,
The fan is not overly heavy and looks and feel well made. On the rear is a 4-stage power button and the USB-C port for the power cable. Next to the port is a tiny LED light which shows the charging status, red for charging, green for fully charged. Below the power button are 4 tiny blue LED, which show the power. You need to push the power button consecutively to scroll between 1, 2, 3, 4 and Off.
Attached to the fans body is a crescent shaped arm, which is attached to each side and the fan can rotate 360-degrees within that on a ratchet (clicking) system. Making it easy to get the angle you want. This also allows the fan to sit on a flat surface. You have two hanging options: the rubberised carry-strap or the included s-shaped hook. There is a 4th option and that is mounting it on some sort of tripod, as it has a screw hole situated where the carry strap attaches to the fan.
Battery capacity is 4,000mAh, about the size of a largish mobile phone and will give you a fan time of between 4 — 27-hours depending on fan speed. Recharge time is 6-hours — the battery does not fast charge and will not work with a USB-C to USB-C cable.
At full speed, it does push out a decent amount of air and is very cooling for its size. Where this fan really works is its versatility. Whether it be for home, office, camping, etc it is light enough and not overly large to take anywhere. It is not too noisy either and even at max speed, it was only putting out about 48db. I quite like the idea of popping it on my bedside cabinet on those hot, sticky summer nights and having it running its lowest speed blowing on my head.
I cannot really complain about the value for money aspect, at 18,99, with a build-in 4,000mAh battery.
The thing I am unable to comment on is the medium to long-term reliability of the fan and I have not come across the Mint Houz brand before, so no prior experience with them either.

A rechargeable fan is really handy because you can move it around and set it up without having to worry about wires. USB-C charging is nice because you can re-use your existing cables (although one is included). There is a red LED on the back that lights to show it is charging.
Operation is simple, with the single button cycling from off, to power levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and then back to off again.
Interestingly there are some faint blue LEDs behind the blades, which come on when the fan is running, and which get brighter at higher speeds. There are also four LEDs on the back that light up showing what speed the fan is on, from one to four lights. If you like a really dark room to sleep, like I do, and if you point this fan at you to get the benefit of the breeze while you sleep, then these lights will shine at you. The back lights are actually quite bright, and light a blue spot up on my wall at night, so I’ve put some tape over these to stop them shining and lighting up my room in the dark at night.
With careful positioning of the ‘arm’ you can stand this fan up or hang it from the rubber band attached to the top, and it comes with an ‘S’ hook too for looping onto anything convenient. Note that if you hook it onto something that can twist the fan may rock slightly when suspended.
This fan also has a brass mounting on the bottom, which means I can mount this on my camera tripod, which is a nice addition.
The one slight disappointment of this fan is that it does make a little noise when running. I think I could probably sleep with this on its lowest level, after getting used to it for a bit, and treating it as a sleep noise generator in a silent room, but I certainly wouldn’t call it “Ultra quiet” like it says in the listing. On the higher speeds the noise (and pitch) grows, of course, with full speed producing quite a bit of noise from the motor. It’s hard to tell the overall volume from my video, and listening back to it the fan seems louder than this in real life. Hopefully this at least gives a sense of the noise level from about a eighteen inches (45cm) away.
This is a great little fan with lots of uses. It is ideal as a bedside fan or for the home office. However, it is lightweight and portable enough to use outdoors and the hanging hook makes it great for camping or fishing. It has four speeds, the fastest is more powerful than you think and it can be charged by USB which is super convenient. It will last anywhere from 4-24 hours depending on the speed you select which is above average for fans like this.
This is a very durable & excellent fan! This exceeded my expectations as I did not think it would be this good !!It’s quite strong and powerful and lasts for a good amount of time. This is a hanging fan which comes with a clip, which I liked the most as it’s different to your standard fan. Ive clipped this on top of my headboard so the fan is facing me directly and giving me cool air. The noise level is not that loud which is good too as I have cats and am a light sleeper too overall, this is a excellent fan only downside is that it is not as fast as I thought it to be, yet still a great fan.
This was a great rechargeable fan. perfect for camping or even in the car. It had 4 speeds that change at the touch of a button. It didn’t take long to charge at all. It has a handle on it for easy hanging plus a carabiner.
Needed a portable fan that was either battery or USB powered, and this does both. With a meaty 4000mAh (claimed) battery, this claims to run for over 24 hours on the lowest setting. I’ve not tested that fully so I can’t confirm, but I plan to run this plugged in anyway.
On lowest speed it puts out a decent little breeze but is very quiet. Turn this up to max power and it’s very, very impressive for a small little fan. Puts out a ton of flow, but also sounds like an angry swarm of bees.
Not a fault of the product though. Small blades have to whizz pretty fast to generate this amount of air so noise is inevitable.
Has a handy leather-like strap and a hook which you can use to hang it from pretty much anything you can put a hook on. Somehow even though it’s danging it still manages to keep pointing where you tell it which must be some soft of witchcraft!
Either way I love this thing. Super convenient, powerful, and feels tough too. I like so much I got 2!

It gives a good amount of breeze !!
You could sleep with this on on the first 2 modes, as they’re fairly quiet.
Then last 2 get a bit lounger, but again do give a cooling breeze.
It comes with a hanging hook too.
Thoroughly recommended, and great value for money too !!

Handy portable fan with built in battery, hanging loop and hook and stand.

The fan has 4 speeds, with a simple cycling button on the back to go through them, and a small indicator light. On the lowest setting it provides a nice breeze for use close to you on a desk, without too much noise (and a claimed 27h battery life). The faster settings provide stronger breeze and higher noise levels.
The fan arrives in a plastic bag, inside a sealed in plastic card box with product details, a USB charging cable is provided, with a minimal instruction leaflet (including two entertainingly written scenarios for use). It arrives charged.
To use on a flat surface, you need to rotate out the hanging handle which makes an uncomfortable clicking noise. The fan is then relatively deep (14cm), and does take up more room, when hanged the fan is only 9cm deep
Construction wise – it appear to be well built, with all components dark black apart from the grey of the hanging loop and adjacent pad.
Overall – well made, flexible desk/hanging use options and a good size.
It is described as an “ultra-quiet” fan but really it is not as quiet as it could be. It has four speeds lo, med, hi and fast and each one does make a noise, the fastest speed being the loudest. It’s a dual-tone drone of the motor and the propeller. Ok, it’s a harmonious major 3rd interval (musicians take note) but still it’s a sound that gets quite noticeable after a while and not one I want to go to sleep with. In reality, all fans will make noise depending on the motor type, (brushless, or otherwise), control circuitry, propeller bearing type, and turbulence damping of the casing etc. This one is not too bad and I rather like the harmonious 3rd drone it makes. I like humming tunes over the top of the drone …
The fan appears to be very well built and has a decent airflow for its size. IT can be hung just about anywhere where you have a hook, or object to hold the adjustable handle. The nice thing about it is it has a built-in battery with several hours working on one charge. I had it in my greenhouse while I was planting seeds and tomatoes over the weekend and I left it on full power. It was still running without a loss of battery level six hours later!
I have made a short video of this fan so that you could hear the sound for yourself on all the various settings. Silent? no, but possibly good enough for the hot days when you need some relief. Its portability and rechargeable long battery life make this ideal for the hot summer that’s being predicted. Cut down on Air conditioning costs by having fans like this to keep you cool.
It is a pretty good fan and is designed mainly to be hung but will also stand on a desk.
It has four speeds and has four LED’s to indicate the speed but these indicators would have been better suited telling you the battery charge level.
When charging also it only has a single red LED on while charging and off when fully charged.
Room for improvement.
This fan is a cool gadget I like it. Defo buy again if needed.
I really like the fan as it’s rechargeable not like many other usb fans that you have to keep plugged in. This one you just charge and it works and the you can also place it anywhere.
Nothing to dislike about this product just rigged up in my caravan ,on top speed very quite ,very light ,in weight goes in any position I have on hook end of bed next to tv put it there and keeps us both cool ,can feel on face ,Exellent quality ,just waiting to find out if I can run using usb only if battery not charged ,if yes will purchased second one ,for front of van ,saves carrying 2 mains full size fans 4 times the weight and size for same result is good to purchase a Exellent quality product these days well done
