Love this kit! My first set lasted 4 weeks, didn’t even start to lift, but managed to do an infill with the amount of growth I had.
For me this Gel X kit is no different to what you pay for in the salon (I was paying for this service for the past 3 years).
Prep is definitely key with these! You need a nail dehydrater and a nail primer for these to last and not lift/pop off. I also found filing inside the nail to make a rougher surface helped the nails to last longer (with an e-file).
I work in Luxury jewellery and all my clients ask where I get my nails done, they can’t believe it when I say I do them myself.
Cannot recommend this kit enough, just takes practice and knowing the right prep for a long lasting set 🙂
Though the tips were quite long, some filing down made them perfect! The glue seems to hold really well, and when covered with ModelOnes gel polish, it looks almost professional!
I found these super easy to apply, following the instructions. Also, after gathering info prior. I invested in a Primer, as advised by many.
Dehydrate & Prime nails first.
Practice will make perfect (I hope) but, so far so good!
Was took me 30 – 40 min to do just nails+ nail polish and top coat time.
Idea is not bad but I think I need just more practice to do them. So yes I recommend
Update: after 2 days of wearing and lot of house chores, tons of washed dishes can happily recommend this brand, bc it’s holds artificial nails in place!
So if you want try this brand I highly recommend
Brought as a present for my daughter, she’s not complained about it so far so i presume she’s happy with the set as a whole
