My Everyday Muse – lovely mauve/pink toned nude. A good thickness too, not too gloopy like some colours can be.
Really rate the Mylee polishes. The key to low peeling/chipping is definitely by putting in the prep time which is worth it. I can easily get 10+ days when properly prepped and by applying a decent top coat layer.
I purchased the mylee gell nail polish in the color watermelon high . The mylee gell nail polish is impressive. A little bit goes a long way . Good quality. Professional salon quality. Vegan friendly. Smooth finish . I love the shine on the polish . I am so thrilled with the results of the polish . I have at least 15 different mylee gell polishes . I absolutely love the mylee gell polishes. Great price for the quality. Beautiful bottle design . Super pretty. The mylee gell polishes never disappoint. I am so satisfied with the mylee gell polish
I love the gel, but it is not the easiest to use. Just like any other white color, you need to apply several layers and be extremely careful, but it stays on for a very long time and looks great.
Love this shade! Thought it was a bit dark when first putting on but it’s really lovely. Covered well with 2 thin coats, photo is on natural nails with the mylee no wipe top coat on.
Thought it was going to have a slight more pink tone as it’s almost completely clear but still looks nice, Also used the mylee top coat and it came out great.
Purchased twice, my fav colour. And they are my favourite gel nail colour make. Colours go on nicely and I find they don’t streak like some do. Not had one chip either. Great value and some stunning colours. Have purchased numerous colours and continue to do so
So I bought this thinking it was going to be a nice peach colour however I didn’t read the name of the product and was very shocked to find it’s neon pink when it arrived it’s very bright and does last! Looks fab with my barbie top for the barbie movie though so it’s a win for me
Great customer service, fast delivery again – thank you!
I’m not too happy with the colour as I thought it would be more as shown it’s more of a neon orange colour which some might like but I’m not too keen on it.
Bought French Manicure duo set (called Assorted as listing name). The pinky colour is very close to clear, and the white has good coverage. Easy to apply and long lasting.
If you like classy, natural looking nails then this duo is perfect for you. This was my first time trying the duo and it’s really nice, for things like a wedding or if you need to have natural nails for work. For me personally I would prefer the pink to be more opaque as it’s very sheer. On the photo this is 2 coats of pink and one of white. The white is quite thick so if your a beginner I would recommend a very fine nail brush or a silicone dabber.
Great kit, the pink is very sheer and the white is super white. It does take practice to do a self mani and it will live or die by the quality of your detail brush – lost a star for not including one (you cannot use the brush it comes with to draw the white tip!)
No comments yet on longevity but because the pink is so sheer I think if it starts to peel, it’ll be hardly noticeable. Can always clip the white off, too.
Ignore the fact I’m issuing my partners hair to show off my nails.. but I absolutely love this product. The colours are perfect French colours, the pink being very opaque but leaving a beautiful finish. I never leave reviews but thought I would for this as I have spent so much time scrolling to find good gel polishes, and finally have come across some!! 10/10 would recommend, not gloopy, not funny.. great consistency
First time trying white tips on myself so wanted to get a kit with both colours, read the reviews and saw that the pink colour was more clear thank pink and was a bit worried about results but as I wanted more natural looking nails thought I’d give it ago. On putting it on I was also a little disappointed that it didn’t dull down the white mark on my nail after 2 coats of the pink, but carried on anyways and to my amazement the when I woke up the next day it had wasn’t anywhere near as obvious, I think the pink gets pinker over time!! This was my second go so captured 2 pictures, first one is half hour after I finished them and the second is 12 hours after! Very pleased and glad I didn’t get put off! 🙂
I like this product but the colours don’t look the same as the pictures. I bought watermelon sugar as I thought it looked like a deeper, more red-ish pink, but it is full on neon pink! not really what I wanted.
Ik just wish the ‘pink’ had a bit more depth to the colour. This appears slightly more washed out and sheer than I like but it still does the job.
Beware when choosing the colours as the photos on here are rather misleading.
I chose “Pink Ambition” on the basis that it looked like a pretty bright coral colour.
I’m not complaining about how bright it is, but it’s absolutely nowhere near a coral colour (which to my understanding is pinky-orange, or orangey-pink, depending on how you prefer it).
There is no pink in this whatsoever – only in the name! This is incredibly, absolutely, undeniably, slap-you-round- the-face, eye-wateringly pure neon orange in the strongest sense.
Which is OK I guess, but definitely not what I wanted.
I’ll keep it and wear it on my toes in the summer, but it’s definitely not what I’d have picked if I’d known I was getting something even more garish than a traffic cone….
I’ve given it 4 stars, but only because I love this Mylee brand and it always performs well, but I’d only give the colour 1 star, although that’s just personal preference.
Just be aware when choosing colours on here; maybe look up the one you want on a few different websites first so you get a good idea of what the colour really looks like before purchasing on here.
In the video I tried to show the different angles. The quality of the Polish is really good. Isn’t thick and doesn’t bubble. I painted a base coat, 3 coats of the seashell, and then a top coat.
I bought the gels to use with the mylee gel kit to do at home manicures. These will not work unless you have the full gel kit (UV lamp etc)
So, the gels are good quality they are a good consistency and apply well, especially doing thin coats which is key for gel. Lighter colours will generally need 3 coats.
Bad points, in my opinion the colours do not match those shown on the pictures, they are very similar but not the same! For reference I have the ‘pastel chic’ on my nails in the pictures and the other two pictures are; ‘Primrose Hill’ in the 2nd lighter pink painted on the packaging and ‘Beyond Perfect’ the brighter pink painted on the packaging in the 3rd picture
Love this gel polish. Good consistency, paints on nicely and last well.
Although I do really like the colour it does not match the color shown in the picture on amazon. It is a brighter, lighter and more sugary pink where as the picture showed a deeper pink. A little disappointed but i do like it. This is the reason for 4* and not 5*
This is a lovely bright pink colour without being neon, almost like a Barbie pink. I like using the Mylee products, they are better than other gels I have used. They give good coverage, they self-level well and the colours are very opaque. I only had to apply 2 coats whereas most other gels I have had to apply 3/4.
Since I have started to use a dehydrator, my gels no longer lift and I do get a good 2/3 weeks out of them. Unlike other gels I haven’t had problems with chipping either with this brand.
I would definitely recommend.
The second photo is a lovely light peach colour. Great coverage, self levels well and gives a lovely smooth finish. Definitely recommend.
UPDATE: ‘Behind the scenes’ is nothing like the photo. I was expecting a nice grey colour but this is more lilac? It’s still pretty but it is not what I was after at all. The search continues for a nice grey which is not bluey or greeny! I have removed a star for this one being completely different to the picture.
