I’ve recently purchased this lamp as my other one broke.
I started doing my own nails about a year ago to save trips to the salon.
I purchased a cheaper lamp which came with lots of cheaper branded nail polishes, and on the whole it was ok and good to start. The nail polished do peel quicker, but the glitter ones are good even on cheaper ones so was still worth getting. I used a better builder gel and that worked, fine. It was a 54w lamp.
This mylee lamp has cured my nails so much quicker. They have not peeled since I did them. They’re noticeably better so was 100% worth getting this over a cheaper alternative.
I use the mylee base and top coat and I’ve been using the gellux builder gel (in photo) which works great. I’ll be trying the mylee builder gel when this one runs out.
Mylee magic remover also works great for getting the builder gel off (with a bit of work but better than soaking in acetone for hours).

I’ve been doing my own gel nails for about 5 years and have gone through 2 cheap LED lamps, the last one I felt wasn’t curing the gel properly and I’d only get a week out of it before it started chipping and peeling. Also they didn’t look shiny. I decided to treat myself to a new lamp with some birthday vouchers and as I now mostly use the Mylee polishes they’re a brand I trust.
I’m very happy with the results 8 days in. No lifting/peeling, one very minor chip (see if you can spot it in the photo) happened yesterday after a week of lugging suitcases around Europe. This was probably more due to me not covering the top enough.
I’m a perfectionist so I used to have my nails done professionally every 2 weeks as they grow quick and I couldn’t stand the obvious growth for longer than that. I’ve saved a fortune over the years doing them myself but recently it’s been a week max that I’d get out of them so I’m very glad it looks like I’ll be able to go 2 weeks again.
As others have stated you need to make sure you’re prepping the nail, using a base coat top coat etc or they won’t last.

My wife uses this twice a month to do her nails, it cures quickly and effectively and looks so nice, good quality and affordable for an at home nail set up , arrived quickly my wife is very happy
This is my second d purchase of this lamp. The first one lasted for 6 years which is very good value when you consider the cost of salon treatments. I use it to do my own manicures – I use Bluesky Polish- and this lasts around d 2-3 weeks when I remove and re-apply. Due to the power of this lamp, it takes a very short time to complete the process. Would definitely recommend this lamp over cheaper versions which take an age to “set” the gel. Hope I get another 6 years from this one!
The lamp itself feels like it will break very easily. The buttons on the back are quite hard to press. It would be better with actual buttons or even just a timer. Love the 15 seconds to set the gel polish but would have been happier to pay more for a slightly better produc
I loooooovvvveee this! I had an old one for many years, with a 2 minute timer on it, so my nails always took so long to do. This one is amazing! Absolute game changer! It cures fast and well! Would recommend over and over again.
Just ignore the negative reviews! I’ve used a UV lamp for years and decided to switch to LED. This is so much quicker and the nail polish dried really well. Just remember that you need to make sure your shellac or gel is suitable for an LED lamp as not all are. I’ve used mylee products and CND and both work well. Just do it. Saves so much money and time. I am very pleased !
After using UV lamp for years I bought this lamp and it has just made my life so much easier. Quick, effective and efficient. My only criticism is the timer buttons aren’t visible from the front but you get used to it. I wont need to buy another one as this will work for years
Excellent nail lamp and good value
Purchased this during the pandemic when nail salons were shut. Very easy to use, light weight and value for money. Prior to this I spent 25 a time on manicures at the salon, and they hardly had any polish colours I liked, never again.
Doing it yourself is 10x cheaper and better, always get the colour I want now and enjoy doing my own nails. Plus my nails are not damaged after.
Easy of use.
Happy with purchase, my daughter bought it with full kit. I tend to stick to one colour. My nails only last about a week compared to salon, but cost wise I have perfect nails for a week as mine are very week, and save time and money with salon prices, probably start to try out other colours now. Highly recommend.
This Mylee PRO Salon Series Nail lamp is very well reviewed by a number of different places, it nearly always appears in the top options for Nail drying lamps which is why I got it for my wife.
This is an LED lamp as opposed to a UV one. LED lamps dry the nails quicker than the UV ones do, so that is a good feature of this, quicker between applications of nail gel, so you get the whole job done more quickly.
She found it easy to use and it worked really well. The ‘buttons’ on the back are indented and touch sensitive, the lamp is basically off until these are pressed. The magnetic plate on the bottom can also be removed so it makes it easier when drying toe nails.
One tip is after the final coat, to give the nails a very quick wipe with nail varnish remover on a lint free cloth. This removes any slight tackiness left over. If you are careful and follow the steps the end product looks really good and professional.
The only real downside is the plastic casing on the machine particularly near the power connector. It is very weak with no real reinforcement around that area. You have to be really careful putting the connector in and pulling it out as it is really makes the casing flex.
If you are careful it should be ok but could easily break if you weren’t.
Other than that a very good machine.

Treated myself to an upgrade and so glad I did. Used it for the first time, today, using the 30 seconds, and my nails cured brilliantly. There will always be a ta my feeling on your nail, and that is t down to the lamp. You need to use a lint wipe & nail prep & polish wipe, to remove that tacky layer. You’re then left with perfectly cured nails.
I used to have the mylee UV lamp for many years until it broke, but had wanted an LED Lamp anyway as I knew it has quicker.
I’ve used this twice now and am so impressed, it’s so much faster and does my nails so well. As long as you follow instructions (base and colour 30 seconds each coat, top coat 60 seconds and then wipe it after) my nails have been perfect each time.
Little pricey but if my old Lamp is anything to go by – Mylee products last for ages! Definitely saves money in the long run if you were going to a salon each time as everyone has complimented me to say it looks the same as being done by a professional.
Excellent product! I wasn’t sure about buying this at first as I have extremely weak brittle nails but it’s been a lifesaver. The curing means that my nail varnish stays put for much longer and therefore allows my natural nails to grow and not break. My nail varnish used to last for 1-2 days before chipping but now it lasts for at least a week and sometimes even longer. I have tried using normal nail varnish and then layering with gel nail varnish and this works great and means my existing nail colours don’t go to waste. I have also tried some gel nail varnishes and it is great how quick and easy they are to use. Would definitely recommend this!
Works very well with CND Shellac
I bought this item on the advice of a friend. She uses Mylee nail polishes but I have been using Shellac with a UV lamp which has broken. I was very sceptical as to whether this product would work with Shellac as some reports I’ve read say Led won’t work with it. However, last week I used this lamp with my genuine CND Shellac polishes and I’ve found it to be a great success. My nails feel harder and stronger, I couldn’t be happier with this lamp so far. It’s a nice small product too so easy to store, a lot smaller than my UV lamp, but a good size for 4 fingers to dry at a time.
I purchased this on Prime day, used it the next day with ease.
The cord is a good length, easy to set up and use with the plug being a bonus ( a clip on plug for every plug fitting in the world)
Before plugging in i learnt where to put my hand to set the light timer, this is touch sensitive and the light goes off after allocated time. For the price of one manicure I managed to buy gel polish, this lamp and a prep kit. Fab value in the comfort of my own home in my one watching tv. Well worth the investment. From start to finish it took half an hour instead of a few hours doing my nails with traditional polish.
Fab, fab, fab
Lamp arrived very quickly and is perfect for at home gel nails. Cures so quickly so much better than a UV lamp. My previous lamp stopped working just before the 12 month warranty expired and returning it was no problem. For the price I would have just bought a new one anyway. This is the same lamp – well newer model and I feel that it is a little better as you aren’t relying on the bottom plate to trigger the lamp to come on (which was the issue with my old one). You just push the button for the time you want and it automatically comes on. Love it.
Was slightly skeptical of the 15 second curing claim but I was not disappointed. I’m yet to test it with darker shades but the lamp really is VERY fast.. I guess the convex thing isn’t just a gimmick.. Very Impressed.
An excellent lamp and a total steal at this price. Probably the best I’ve owned so far (and I paid 85 for my previous one which broke after a year and a half). Hence why the key selling point for me was the 2 year warranty which provides a great degree of confidence in the product – that, coupled with a sleek design, super-speedy cure, and what looks like a very durable lamp, you can’t really go wrong.

I wanted to upgrade my LED lamp and saw that this one has the new convex technology. It arrived the next day and I am already really impressed with it. The packaging is lovely and the lamp is slightly bigger than my old lamp meaning it comfortably fits my whole hand inside. I love the fact it has touch sensitive buttons and a removable tray for pedicures. Very modern looking.
I tried it with Bluesky Gel and it DID cure in 15secs! It was a light colour so I will have to try it with a dark colour next time, but still, it’s very impressive. It definitely feels more powerful than my old lamp. Can’t wait to try it on my friends.
