If you fancy yourself as a daredevil driver, then get behind the wheel in this breathtaking game. You can be in a race against other drivers or you can be a cop chasing a getaway car. Either way it’s downright fully fuelled action from start to finish.
If your into high speed car games then this is a great purchase
Well what can I say need for speed games are just always awesome and worth playing
This is a brilliant game. Thoughly recommend.
Great realistic racing. Very enjoyable.
Wicked game. Comes brand new in packaging. What’s not to love. Happy buye
This was a gift and the recipient was very pleased. For the price, it’s a great entry driving game. It doesn’t have a ton of features but it also costs a fraction of the price.! Plenty of entertainment value for the price paid
Great fun and a decent port over to the switch , worth the 14
Awesome game. Takes me back to older style racing games. It’s great being able to be cop or criminal. For any old skool gamers I’d throughly recommend. Considering this game is a remaster, they have done a pretty decent job as the graphics are pretty good and detailed.
Really good game, I am surprised with the quality it has in the Switch.
I really like NFS games, and this is a must.
Arrived next day and everything perfect.
It was already a good game, and gives the speed needed for the switch. 30fps lock is alright, would be nice to have 60 but it will do.
Playing such a game on the go is a joy. Fast, exotic cars and exciting races all day long.
There is a career mode, with a lot of races but no underlying story. But this doesn’t matter as the narrative isn’t the main premise. Rather, focus on the racing, landscape and Seacrest County which is magnificent.
Good , I had this on the PS3 and it plays well and looks great on my switch.
I only play the switch in handheld mode as I own a PS4.
It’s good you can just pick it up and do a race and put it back down again.
No story or open world map driving to the location like the more modern games.
Great game but if you want it to look better , buy the PS4 or Xbox version.
I’m happy for it to be a Travel game in handheld mode only.
Real blast from the past in a great remaster of what is one of the best NFS games released (in my opinion). Great on the Switch with really sharp controls with looks and performance spot on.
This was a great game when I had it on PS3, with stunning graphics and gameplay that was a lot of fun. The same can be said for the remastered edition. It plays just as well as it ever did and I love the simplicity of it – no big open world or bloated exposition (who needs a story in a racing game anyway)… just good old fashioned high speed racing. The Switch port holds up really well too – the graphics pop off the screen of my Switch Lite and the framerate seems very smooth indeed. Arguably it is a soft remaster but it is perfectly suited to a system like the Switch and holds up exceptionally well from both a gameplay and graphics standpoint. Brilliant racing game.
This is a great game! I never played the original so can’t comments on the remastered improvements but it’s really good fun to play. One of the best racers I’ve played in a while and if around 20 then a fair price for a phycial copy of the game.
This is quiet good. A hint of Outrun Coast to Coast and certainly that type of arcade racer. Love the drifting too. Tap L break for wider long turns and the handbrake when you really need to pivot tighter. Feels really good. Weighty cars but controls good. Graphics are decent nothing distracting going on e.g. pop up etc and nice big draw distances. No cheap rubbing banding either that I can detect. Steady frame rate at 30fps.
Online seems quiet at times. I’d say that will be variable in terms of community perhaps. Variable pace of difficulty too. The previews and time attack modes seem the most challenging. At least in terms of identifying useful short cuts ( not all are), generating boost and using it well.
The online requirement is for online play and is 2GB. Please note you will need to make an EA account too. Takes a minute. Nintendo Switch version.
