I haven’t played for years but was like most wanted had an update love the feel of the drive a natural driving game
Bought for the teen. Other than DPD completely mucking up the delivery, I can’t fault this. Game eventually arrived in fab condition and he loves it.
It’s definitely the most immersive game of need for speed so far but I’ve not played on previous two releases. Fantastic graphics
This is the best need for speed for a long time it’s really good as it’s got a story to it instead of just being a car game it kind of reminds me of the old nfs most wanted but better and more updated I would definitely recommend this game I’ve been playing for hours and had to pull myself off it to do other things a very addictive game I also like the variety of off road, drift, drag and street racing it makes it more fun and entertaining
My son was very pleased to receive this – brought back good memories.
It’s a good game the graphics look great on my HDR TV and Xbox one X this is the best need for speed game since carbon but the game has a rather small car selection and the upgrades are quite limited but I would definitely recommend.
Probably the best NFS ever! Loyal Fan since 2013 with NFS Rivals and Payback did not disappoint!! Even though everyone hates you for what you did in Star Wars Battlefront II, I applaud you EA! *****
Can’t get the kids off the xbox now … they love this game. The graphics are excellent and the mapping is a good fun way to make more of a ‘journey’ out of the game instead of just randomly driving round race courses.
I am now the favourite uncle. The little horrors have disappeared into their den to play on their computer box game playing thingy, and have left me in peace. Win, win.
Bought as Christmas gift for family member so unable to comment further.
A good fun game that takes longer to complete than other freeroaming titles. It’s hard, but that’s what makes it stand out. Cruising through at every race is not really fun, you will curse it at some point, and that’s what makes it a challenge!
A good game in my opinion, but a little difficult to stick with after you’ve finished the main story. Hopefully there’s dlc coming.
It’s a shame that amazon messed this order up. I had to wait a week after my first order and then order it again as they had lost it.
For the most part I’ve loved the entire series of Need For Speed games only ever finding 2 of them to be less than expected. NFS Payback is right up there with the best of the series, it has everything; a story line that actually has me not skipping past it, a large free roam environment and probably best of all multiple race styles to get to grips with including Drift, Drag and Race. The game progression is satisfying as it the reward system for winning races and completing open world challenges like Speed Runs and Drift Zones. Destiny 2 has just taken a back seat as I’m finding I’m turning the XBOX on to play it only to not take the NFS disc out…I’m hooked.
This game has revived the Need For Speed series, hasn’t been a good game since Most Wanted 1 and Carbon back on PS2, a lot to do in this, and story is interesting, its back to basics, and its great!
