This is the 2nd purchase of this moisturiser. The first one was in a Nivea face & body selection xmas box along with the matching sensitive night cream which I bought for my daughter. I’m trying to encourage her she needs to use spf & how it’s important , so she started using this. She really likes it. It sinks in pretty quick , hasn’t caused issues, or stings her eyes. I’ve even tried it myself, I have dry/ dehydrated skin & surprisingly found It moisturising enough for me & no stinging of eyes or irritation, shame they don’t do a higher spf in this exact versio
This moisturiser was perfect for my sensitive skin. Small enough to fit in the hand luggage for the plane, and still plenty left over after a few days of use. My skin is oily and very prone to break-outs, but I didn’t have any trouble here – my skin loved it! Would definitely recommend for sensitive ski
It’s quite difficult to find a perfect cream for my sensitive face. I have a combination skin, sometimes it’s too dry and sometimes it’s too oily. It absorbs immediately and leaves my skin soft, it doesn’t feel greasy after application. I recommend it, i love it!
I’ve found this to be a very good day cream for sensitive skin – just as good as many more expensive creams I’ve tried. Quick to apply, minimal scent, SPF 15, lasts well. Excellent value.
I wondered if this cream would be as good due to the cheap price. It was however just as good. It is really thick meaning you don’t need to use much and lasts a long time. I really recommend this product.
Been trying to find a daily, facial spf to wear which i dont react to. I seem to have a bad reaction to all spfs. I havent reacted to this, which is a slight surprise because im close to giving up on them. Also, it is expensive to keep trying things out. So far, no reaction from this. It feels light on the skin, non greasy and not too shiny. And good for a budget. I havent given it 4 stars because it isnt cruelty free. And although this spf 15 is a start, I am unclear if it ticks all the boxes e.g. broad spectrum. I wear it for being inside the house and minimal outside use in average UK weather, i have no idea if spf15 is enough for this — if it was spf 30 i would be more reassured.
I have sensitive skin and this was fine, no irritation whatsoever. It’s light and sits well under my make up. Would buy again but would be better if the spf was highe
The product is just as described and keeps your face moisturized all day long. Only issue is how sweaty it makes me initially and then it balances out. I wholly recommend it.
During the summer I usually wear Nivea sensitive spf50 as my face cream, but was struggling to find it during Autumn. I found this cream on amazon and thought I would give it a try. It initially seems a little thicker than I would usually like, but it soon soaks in. I would say 9 times out of 10 it doesn’t affect my eyes, but occasionally it can make them sting (but I must add that they don’t sting anywhere near as badly as some face creams). For the price I cannot argue and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Being in my 20’s I felt it was important to start wearing SPF everyday whether rain or cloud and not just when the sun’s out, but I really struggle to find SPF face creams which don’t cause my eyes to sting. I’ve tried high-end and low-end brands but my eyes always get irritated. Palmers skin perfecting moisturising day cream (SPF 15) is okay, but it creates pilling on my face and therefore is terrible under make-up. I tried using sensitive suncreams, but cream textured ones left a white cast on my face, clear ones left me with a super shiny film on my face; both caused me to break out.
This Nivea with SPF is a game changer! I’ve been using it for 3 days and use two pea sized amount to cover my combination face and entire neck using clean fingertips.
I have eczema and mild acne but they are under control at the moment. This product suits both vastly different conditions; if I were to have a reaction, it would have happened by now.
Glides on nice and easy, dries quickly but leaves your face moisturised and supple all day. No pilling, no shiny glaze, no white cast, no streaming eyes and no spots!
In case anyone else is facing the same issues I do, there are a couple of other tips I can reccomend for keeping your skin clear.
-drink lots of water daily
-wash your face day and night with a clean flannel to get rid or old face products, sweat and oils before applying new products
-change your pillowcase weekly
-eat a balanced diet with limited dairy and fried foods
I highly reccomend this as a day to day product. Absolutely fragrance free and lovely creamy texture, not too thin or thick. Bought with subscribe and save for 2.40 (RRP 3.00 but voucher applied)
It’s cheap. It works. And it doesn’t make me break out.
I have ver very very very very sensitive normal-dry skin. Most of the product either too heavy or too light. I am Asian student in UK. And since I came here, my skin was freaking out REALLY BAD. I usually have a very good skin, but now nothing works. The product that always work for me doesn’t agree with the weather somehow. That means I need to find my new HG cream. I spent tons on products in Boots, and nothing seems to work; cetaphil, cerave, vichy, laroche posay, avene, simple, aveeno, neutrogena. I don’t know what else to buy.
One day I just search on Amazon and found that a lot of people seems to like this. I used to use Nivea soft at home, but the scent seems to throw me off a bit. Don’t expect much cuz it’s very cheap and simple ingredient. But oh man, I would kick myself if I don’t find it.
It doesn’t make my face dry, and doesn’t make my skin oily during the day. With spf 15, it’s perfect for everyday during the lockdown at home. I do use spf 50 when I go out.
The cream is so good that I bought the night version in Boots, and with promotion nonetheless!
Now I don’t use anything else except washing my face and moisturizer, and my skin got a lot better. I still got a lot of black spot from previous break out, but I don’t freak out anymore as I found something that sooth my skin.
If you want to try, I reccommend so much. It’s cheap, but if it works, it’s gonna become your best friend.
I have been using this moisturiser for a few days now, and I must say I’m quite impressed. I have dry skin and with the current weather in the UK it makes it worst. Nivea Day Cream is an oil based cream and it keep my skin moisturised throughout the day. I use it 2 times a day and it keeps the skin on my face smooth, not oily.
I was using l’oreal paris triple active before which costs twice as much as the nivea one but has the same effect. So I’m very happy with my purchase and I intend to buy more in the coming month. Good value for money.
I had used Nivea rehydrating moisturiser until fairly recently when the Amazon price, both normal and subscribe and save, rose. I switched to this ‘similar’ product, and it is a good product, but not to the same quality as the previous one. I am please to note that Tesco and the Co-op have it at a much better price, and therefore until Amazon revises it price I will be buying the previous product at my local Tesco!
