I’m not a builder or a bricklayer or a gardener. I’m just a heavy bloke who runs a small recording studio and often has to clamber under desks to run cables. As I’ve got older, even a few minutes on my knees can cause me issues. These take all that strain away. They’re quite comfortable for short periods of time (haven’t had them on for extended periods, so I can’t comment on how they’d work out for a builder, for example). All in all, very pleased with these.

Lost cheapo old foam ones, borrowed some not unlike these. They were knocked about from years of use but worked well with hard shell, gel inserts and clip on attachment points rather than cheapo velcro. These have upper and lower straps so even better. Fit my big knees n calves fine.

These seem to do the job. I have a knee injury / surgery and needed to kneel down but I still needed additional softer support in my case, so I used a mini memory foam pillow under the pad. For me this work wonders I’m pretty sure they would have been fine for someone with normal issues and just needed some support / protection. I liked that there was still room for the straps to go around top and calf of my leg (not small legs) in addition to the mini pillow. I think someone ought to think about having an option where there is also extending protection down a tapered shin pad that would have suited me. Overall I think these are quite comfortable pads. I can’t speak about durability as I would not be using them in harsh working conditions.

Well, these knee pads are a pleasant surprise. My knees are thanking me especially when I play with my three-year-old grandson and his toy cars on a tiled kitchen/dining room floor. My knees don’t hurt one little bit. Also great for domestic jobs around the house and garden. I’m a retired person so I can’t comment on how they perform on a demanding day job, but they appear capable of handling most jobs.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThey do exactly what they are supposed to. Very comfortable, shock absorbers, soft, sturdy.

I wish they were smaller so I don’t look and feel like a hokey player. I have to kneel a lot, on a hard floor in my job. I really want to protect my joints.
These would be perfect from every point of view except size. In my case, they are almost double.

my knees are shot and kneeling is somethign to be avoided, however these provide the comfort, don’t slip down your leg and you can feel confident in kneeling without having to place yourself with care. after a while they can get a bit sweaty, but its a small price to pay

Love the pads in general comfy and do the job onky down side which may put me off in the future is the strap pictured has already started to deform in a way but apart from that I’m happy with them and would recomend just a shame about the strap

4.0 out of 5 stars Fairly happy

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI need some kneepads for my retail job as kneeling on a cold hard surface all day is really ruining my knees. these seemed like the answer to my prayers but unfortunately, as a 5’6 girl these are way to big for me to use comfortably. I really wish these would be made in a smaller size for those a little smaller than average. they feel extremely durable, but the straps at the back feel uncomfortable in the crook of me knee. not sure if that’s due to them being too big though or just the design. really bummed they’re not suitable for what I need!

I bought these as I was having terrible trouble with my knees , I work every single day on a golf driving range & sometimes have to kneel down & pick up range balls under the trees along the fence so wearing these is bliss , I also drive the ball picker & was always bashing my knee against it when I emptied the crates so now I’m doubly protected . Now it’s winter I’m hand picking the range which is a considerable area & I’m still wearing the knee pads with no issues , it’s a 10 out of 10 from me .

Absolutely brill! I’m 76 and fitting 39 solar panels on my 40 pitch roof. Before I had these my knees were stopping me after half an hour. Now I can manage 3 hours at a time before my back gives out. Those youngsters who didn’t grow up before the deadly 1994 CDM regulations, don’t know what life for Fred Dibnah’s generation is really about. My 38 year old son has never come to terms with roof work that I inspected as a Building Surveyor in my 30’s. Rock-climbing in post war Scouting was a good grounding for most high level work.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI am an inveterate sinner whose sessions before the Priesthood tend to last perhaps forty to fifty minutes a time, provided that I visit three times a week. Now in my seventh decade on this mortal coil I was finding that my knees gave out long before absolution and I was on occasion having to return home still damned for all eternity. Something of a risk, you’ll agree. These kneepads have changed all that, and I have cut my confession sessions down to just one a week (although longer). They are comfortable, lightweight, well-designed, easy to clip on, and a good size for a 6′ 2″ bipedal behemoth. Blessed be the kneepads.

I bought these after my previous pair which were just form padding compressed to nothing after a fairly short time. These feel much more long-lasting and the gel pads are really comfortable to kneel on. The straps hold the knee pads in place fairly well but some adjustment is needed every so often to keep them in the right place and comfortable. Overall I am really pleased with them and would buy again.

They’re quite large upon receipt of the package.. Definitely made for heavy duty jobs other than retail. In my case, I needed them same day to do my job than wait 3 days for better ones. They have made it somewhat easier to sit on my knees on hard surfaces to fill shelves in retail. The only problem I encountered, and for fault of my own, was not getting knee pads on my first 8 hour night shift.. I was dealing with bruised knees under the knee pads which made it uncomfortable somewhat.. Overall, knee pads are big and a little weighty, not much ‘gel’ padding to cushion the knees imo but enough to keep knees safe. I would recommend lookin for better knee pads with better cushioning, if the size is not an issue then by all means wear large knee pads.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Users** UPDATE **

Originally, the item had arrived with a few minor issues. Naturally, I wrote a 3 star review here as at the time I wasn’t sure how long the item would last due to these issues. Well, to my surprise the seller not only read the review and apologized to me directly in private, but also refunded the item AND sent me a replacement without hesitation! On top of that, they also sent me a cookie along with a hand-written letter apologising about the issues I had with the item! It was all very charming and a big breath of fresh air. I fully recommend this product and seller, as should you have ANY issues whatsoever, they will treat you with respect and try to solve the issue.

OLD= The item came with some stitching loose, so not sure how long it’ll last and whether I’ll buy it again or not. Otherwise. It is quite comfortable I guess.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI ordered a pair of NoCry Professional Knee Pads with Heavy Duty Foam Padding & Comfortable Gel Cushion, Strong Double Straps & Adjustable Easy-Fix Clips from Amazon. On receiving my order there was a part missing on one of the knee pads. I contacted the seller, NoCry, on 24 June @ 17:17 to request either a refund or a replacement set of knee pads. I received an immediate response (exactly 2 minutes later @ 17:19) from Raino the founder of NoCry, which is a small and inventive company located in the tech-savvy Northern European country of Estonia, offering to personally replace the knee pads for free or a full refund, no questions or hassles. Further he said that there was no need to return the knee pads I originally purchased. All I had to do was respond to his email. I responded to Raino’s email saying that the knee pads where exactly what I wanted & that I wished to accept his offer of a replacement set. I received a further email from Raino on 25 June explaining why the issue with the knee pads had arisen & advising me that he had prepared a pair of replacement professional knee pads to be sent to me &that they should be delivered around July 3rd, which they were. He said that I would receive a tracking link in my email once the order had been shipped out — I did. He also offered me a full refund of the first set of knee pads I’d purchased & said there was no need to return them. The refund was processed promptly. A very positive experience with NoCry. Excellent customer service, prompt responses, fast, efficient, professional yet very friendly service. My replacement knee pads are exactly what I wanted & have been put to good use many times already. Perfect for a variety of uses. I have used them gardening, painting indoors & outdoors, scrubbing floors, putting hubcaps on my car, cleaning etc. They are comfortable, secure, easy to adjust & stay in place well. I would highly recommend both the knee pads & this seller. I have since purchased safety glasses & a protective case from NoCry no issues whatsoever with these products either. Well done NoCry!

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersJust for clarity sake I have to admit that I received a personalised biscuit shortly after my knee pads arrived with a message asking for some honest feedback so that’s what they are going to get and I refuse to be biased by a biscuit. So here we go, the biscuit was a thin, square shortbread/rich tea kind of blend with an icing topping featuring No Cry symbols and had my name written on it. Think it was “Thank You Andrew.” but I ate it a while back so can’t fully remember. However I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the taste, there was something to it I couldn’t quite identify, like either the icing or biscuit had some flavouring but couldn’t quite place it. It wasn’t awful, but made me not want to ever buy a pack if I saw them on sale, which is a shame. Still it was the thought that counted and I’m guessing there were some corners being cut on them, after all I did buy some knee pads and not a Rolls Royce. If Rolls Royce sent me one of those biscuits then I would be terribly disappointed, but as it was for a pair of knee pads I was pleasantly surprised and it was a nice little touch which I appreciate.

Oh best review the pads as well, they are pleasantly surprising as well. Now I must admit I’ve not used knee pads that much as I try to avoid working on my knees. However I had a project over the xmas hols to replace the extractor fan in the tiny remains of the loft after it had been converted into a bedroom. So I figured I’d be on my knees a bit and needed some protection, especially due to my anatomy in that area. The tops of my shins tend to be quite bony and stick out further than my knees so I tend to kneel on them which is quite painful. So looking around at the large range available I started ploughing through the reviews and saw someone recommended the No Cry ones due to the fact that they hold the pads in place quite well. So I had a nosey and they looked good and I went for them. And you know what, they do hold the pads in place quite well. If knocked they would slide a bit and I’m quite a big person, rugby player type size and so getting through the hatch into the what looked quite a large loft area but then turned out to be smaller once inside would generally result in the pads getting knocked out of position a bit. However it turns out that kneeling on the edges of the pads is just as comfortable as the main part and so I would clamber in and my knees/shins would be fine and a quick adjustment and they would be back in place.

So yeah I would happily recommend these pads. Like I said I’ve not used many pads in the past, in fact I think I’ve only used one pair which were hard blocks of rubber and not that comfy, better than my knees but not much better. These ones were perfect for what I needed and will happily buy more if ever needed. Actually as I was adding more insulations to the space as well while I was up there I was working on my back and sides quite a bit so need to check to see if they do any elbow and hip pads as those areas suffered a bit from lack of padding.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve bought NoCry products before and they are fantastic, same with their customer service.

These kneepads are great for doing any outside work. I use mine for gardening and find them very good. The durability is nice, and easy to wash thanks to the big grooves in the pads. They use memory foam for the cushioning, which at first feels a bit thin for something going to have a lot of weight on them, but are surprisingly very comfortable.

My only negative are the straps, they are great in their ease of use, but when pulling in the strap to tighten, the metal it passes through tears the fabric, causing a permanent rip, which hasn’t gone straight through, but ai know with time they will.
The other annoyance are that no matter how tight I pulled them (to the point of them being too tight and uncomfortable) they kept slipping down. Being a Gardener that is a little annoying as I am always alternatiilng between a crouched and stood up position.

Other then that, they are a very good product and I highly recommend.
