I am a mum of three children. I have a foreman for baby. I purchased this as it come recommended by other parents. What a life-saving device I would use alongside nose drops and it is absolutely fantastic. Wouldn’t live without it now.
We purchased a fancy electric one before the baby was born but it does nothing, this one is fantastic!! It does exactly what you need it to do! Don’t be put off by the idea of a manual suction, the first tube has a filter plus the second long tube, it is a perfect design.
Best ever purchase of my life, it’s worth every penny. Buy it! Your baby will not cry in terror and the whole process will take no more than 20 seconds. Buy it. Trust the reviews.
This bogey sucker is the best one I’ve ever used (and I’ve had about 5). It gets a lot of mucus out and is a lot more gentle on my toddler than previous ones.
I found the key to making it as effective as possible is by ensuring the end goes into baby’s nose to create a ‘seal’, allowing quick and effective suction.
Seals well so there is no risk of snot leaking and comes with multiple spare filters… Although these will likely last past when you stop using as I’ve used this every day for 3 months now and there is still nothing on the first filter.
Highly recommend it!
I have two of these and though they work well (though your baby will hate it – guaranteed) the blue attachment has come loose on one of them meaning you have to hold the two pieces together. This can be frustrating when you have a squirming, screaming baby who doesn’t want to have their nose suctioned. However, it is very easy to use and does the job. Though still be prepared to be pulling some bogies out with your fingers as it doesn’t always suction them up completely. And no, no bogies will end up in your mouth so don’t worry! It took me a couple months to get up the courage to use this lol, but there’s nothing to worry about.
I bought this for my baby when he was very poorly and had a very snotty nose. It definitely did the trick although he quickly learned what it was doing and kept pushing it away. We haven’t used it since he was a baby as we get him to blow his nose now, but it is perfect for babies under the age of nine months when they don’t quite understand what’s happening.
This is a great product that works. I’ve bought many over the years as they do tend to discolour over time. The reason for the reduxtion of one atar is because the item use to come in a plastic carrying/storage case but now comes in a paper box.
If you’re looking at the reviews of this product, or in fact the product itself then it means that you are desperate just like I was. It works. Just get it. You won’t regret it. It will help your little one in an instant. There is nothing better out there, I’ve tried mechanical ones and they do nothing for a baby. If someone says otherwise then I’d challenge them to a demo. One word of advice though, check you have the filter in 3 times! Tiny little bit of sponge that you won’t notice falling out at night when you’re assembling it after a quick rinse. I wish they made it whistle or something if the filter is not present to alert the care taker!
I’ve tried 3 other nasal aspirators on my 3 week old who has been snotty since day 3, and this is by far the best. Suction is better than any bulb device or similar suction set up, and you can also blow out to help clean it. It’s remarkably effective and my little one doesn’t mind it at all – would really recommend and really helps breathing. The tip is small enough for tiny nostrils, and it gets a good amount of gunk up.
I’ve bought this for all 3 of my babies & even gifted it to 2 friends who had babies. It’s amazing the difference it can make when babies nose is cleared up ! Definately recommended for everyone with newborns.
My baby has been in hospital with bronchiolitis and has been very bunged up. Once homeni notice he still sounded snuffly and was having difficulty breathing through his nose, although I couldn’t see any boogers. I decided to give this a go after putting in some saline drops and lots of mucus and boogers came out and he instantly behan to breathe better. Would definitely recommend!
So my baby has a cleft soft palate, and regularly is bunged up even with food, I know it sounds gross, but this thing is great you control the suction and no nothing can get to your mouth a little sponge (you get 3 can probably buy more too or even wash and dry them) 100% Recommend i also recommend the little tool from the same brand
I have a four month old baby and she has a terrible cold. Honestly I was dubious about using this but it is AMAZING!! She doesn’t love it but is quite a chilled baby so let’s me do it. And it makes a huge difference to her sleeping and feeding that she can breath. It just sits slightly inside her nostrils, the mucus doesn’t travel far so there is no fear of tasting it. And you blow it back out into a tissue. It’s been a massive boon during her first cold. And I’m so grateful it exists. Thank you on behalf on my daughters nose. Lol
I find it works well sometimes, not so well other time. use it on a 10 month old baby, doesn’t seem to cause them any distress, it obviously causes her some sort of sensation but actually it seems to relax her. She gets very snotty while teething, sometimes works well well other times not much comes out despite being snotty. I had an electric one which was much more expensive but actually I think this works better.
After trying a few other alternatives, I wish I had purchased this sooner. Simple and extremely effective to help my 3month old who is suffering from a blocked nose.
Absolutely love it. Best one out there! The cable part is wider than other brands so makes it more easy to suck. Also, the pointy end of the tube is short and wide which picks the boogies so much easier due to properly fitting into the nose and close all the gaps so you can have a nice strong suction.
People will think it’s disgusting but I can safety say, after two children, I’ve never sucked up snot into my mouth. This was a life savers with my second born during the winter months, she could hardly breath during her bottles so I would use this combined with saline drops and it cleared her right out.
I cleaned it by filling a jug of hot water and letting it sit for a bit, all the gunk would come out, just rinse and put back together, which is simple too just two bits to click back into each other.
Absolutely brilliant, I used this with my 6week old as she was very congested and it was interfering with her feeds, this alongside the saline nasal spray was a godsend just two sprays up each nostril to loosen it all followed by the nosefrida, sucked everything right out. was very easy to clean washed in the sink and popped in the sterilising fluid
Easy to use. My 4 week old was suffering with a snotty nose, sounding very congested when lay down resulting in no sleep. The next night I used this to clear her nose before bed and she’s slept like a dream. 100% recommend to anyone.
I feel regret for not buying this product since my daughter born, she suffered at the first months of constantly colds and I find so much struggle to clean her nose, I try some many products, but none of them do the job properly, but definitely this aspiration do the job as I excepted, happy and I really recommed this item to others mums!
Had a battery operated nose sucker for 14 months amd OMG regretting not getting this sooner! It’s so much better, easier to clear, gets more out and my toddler doesn’t seem to mind it as much. A must have mummies and for fraction of the price
Was used suction bulb at the beginning, but baby finds it very stressful.
Was thinking about getting electric aspirator, however a friend recommended to try manual.
Best choice!
Easy to use, easy to clean, baby is not stressed at all.
(After reading some previous reviews, PLEASE be aware, this device DOES NOT suck dry mucus, you HAVE to use nasal (saline) spray first for it to work well).
I wouldnt be without this product. Was essential when my baby had a blocked nose, tocv Lear her nose before feeding so that she could breathe.
KEY is to not over do it as the body will just produce more mucus and to let the body clear itself but when she needed to breath through her nose to feed this was a game changer.
Does the job very well if you know what you’re doing. Would have given it 5 stars if it came with a case as well as extra sponges to spare. Overall very happy
I was so sceptical of this product before buying it. My GP even recommended it. And I even bought it and didn’t use it for two weeks.
But once my newborn son had a blocked nose again and steam didn’t work I just did it and so much came out of his nose! It was amazing!
I would advice to add a saline spray/drops before use to loosen mucus. And don’t insert the end fully into the nose just place it gentle on the outside and suck in. There’s a tube so nothing goes into your mouth. I would only do it twice in each nostril as babies gag a little and if you’ve got the mucus you’ll be able to tell. Don’t be scared to suck hard. (I guess because you’re pulling the mucus from their throat).
I’ve told everyone to get it!
This feels like it has better suction than the snufflebabe aspirator. The bit that sits at the nostril is the right size for baby’s nostrils (the snufflebabe one is slightly small and so sometimes accidentally gets into our wriggly baby’s nostril during use – doesn’t happen with this aspirator). Filter isn’t as practical to clean as it’s essentially a piece pf sponge. I would also have preferred if they had already cut the spare filters to size instead of just providing a large rectangular piece of sponge that the customer is supposed to trim replacement filters out of. Overall it’s a good product, well priced. As other reviews have suggested this works better on moist boogies, not great with dry ones (but I think that would apply to most nasal aspirators).
I’ve recently bought this product, and I’m very glad I did! I had bought a different one before, but it didn’t work at all. I decided to buy NoseFrida because it’s approved by the NHS. I tried it yesterday, and I didn’t imagine I will be this excited to see these white stuff coming out of my baby’s nose 🙂
What I like about it:
– You don’t have to insert it far into the nostril, just at the edge
– It has a filter to prevent bacteria travelling from your mouth. There are 3 extra filters in the package
– You can rinse it easily after use (which you should)
What I don’t like about it:
– No baby would like you suctioning their nose, so they will cry!
Should you buy it?
– YES, definitely
Tips:
– To make mucus softer, you can use Saline nasal drops before using the aspirator

I’ve tried a few different aspirators and they were all useless. The last one before this being the snuffle babe which was incredibly hard to suck through I decided to give this one a chance after seeing so many good reviews.
Firstly it comes packaged in a nice plastic box with a snap on latch, it has some replacement filters included and there is one already in the snot sucker as we all call it. The replacements are easily available if needed.
It’s had a lot of use since buying because we all had the flu and it hung around for 6 weeks so the snot sucker was being used up to 4 times a day and always st bedtime. Now it’s quite gross but it’s straggly satisfying watching the tube fill up with gunk. It’s very easy to suck through and does the job so well I couldn’t be without it now.
For all the uses it’s going to get the small price you have to pay is nothing compared to your child’s comfort and how many times you will use it.
It’s the only one that is NHS approved, so it speaks for itself, it was made by a doctor too. If your child has a dried up blocked nose just use a couple of drops of saline spray, leave to soften then use the snoopy sucker.

Absolutely a life saver. Have a 3 week old child who has developed a cold and has excess mucus at the back of his nose and throat. You can hear gurgle sounds throughout the day and the night. Kept choking on milk because the mucus was blocking his airways, wouldn’t not sleep longer than 30 minutes without waking up due to discomfort. Cannot burp due to blockage. The wife and I literally could not sleep AT ALL!!! I then done some research and came across this product. Looked at a few videos and ordered straight away due to desperation. Result…? Absolutely a life saver. It literally pulls out the mucus from deep behind the nose and throat to an extent. Baby fed normally, slept peacefully and no gurgelling sounds. We also managed to get sleep too. This review is slightly detailed and long because I want other parents out there especially new parents to know exactly what kind of issues can occur with a newborn and what to do about it. Bare in mind that one person may need to hold baby’s head straight while the other operates the aspirator. Don’t be afraid to suck a little hard on it, but please don’t suck for too long each time as this will more than probably irritate your baby too much. Also, I have had a humidifier in the room for a few days and it helped very slight. The aspirator on the other hand, cleared the congestion in 2 minutes. Awesome product. Remember, babies tend to contact colds more than once in the year as they have no antibodies against the pathogen at this stage of their life, even if you are breast feeding. Hope this review helps all you people out there.
When your newborn has snot up her nose and she has difficult breathing, it can be a bit of a headache for parents to relieve her of this problem. Enter the nasal aspirator. It’s purpose is to suck out the snot from your baby’s nose via a tube. You put one end at your baby’s nose and one end at you mouth. You then have to suck air out of the tube, in essence sucking up the snot. The snot doesn’t go into your mouth (which would be awful and disgusting) but resides in the tube.
However, I’ve found that this only works if the snot is very runny (like when you have a cold), and therefore does not work when the snot is hardish or stuck inside the baby’s nose. Also, the baby doesn’t like it at all, so only do it when she is sleeping soundly. We made the mistake of doing it the first time when she was awake and we ended up with a screaming infant.
1) It WORKS. It effectively sucks the mucus out from baby’s nose, clearing the passage for baby to breathe more easily when he/she is congested.
2) It is SAFE. It says it is approved by the NHS – not 100% sure on this but either way, it is the safest and most natural way to get rid of the mucus rather than using any nasal sprays or other methods.
3) It is EASY to use. So, so simple. Just plug the sponge filter provided into place and connect the pencil shaped sucker to the end of the tube and you’re ready to start sucking.
4) It is easy to CLEAN. The mucus that gets sucked out usually hardly ever reaches half way up the tube so there’s hardly any chance of it touching the filter. I usually just pop it off and rinse it in hot soapy water.
5) It PREVENTS you from catching baby’s cold. Or at least there’s less chance of catching baby’s cold as opposed to using the traditional ‘in desperate times require desperate needs’ method of sucking the mucus out with your own mouth.
At the end of the day, you and baby will both be happy after using this. No longer will you be stressed and worried about your baby’s congestion. Your baby will be happy because he/she will be able to breathe through the nose again – especially important if baby is bottle feeding or breastfeeding.
