Bought these after recommendations on a Facebook breastfed support group. Ran got water over them as required before giving to bubba and he’s loved having them when teething. Theyve been easy to make, they’re easy to use with bubba and easy to clean (dishwasher) afterwards. Recommended
This were great for my little girl when she started teething, we just popped a bit of whatever pouch she had left over and she loved them, perfect for her little gums
Great product, they make perfect ice lollies.
The ice lolly comes out of the mould very easily after pouring some hot water on it to loosen it a little. Otherwise I think they could be easily broken. The way the 4 moulds connect to keep them upright in the freezer is a bit unusual and again can be easily broken if you don’t be careful.
Their great though, good size and easy to hold. The little one loves them.
I think these are really useful. I freeze either breastmilk or yoghurt in them for my just turned one hear old. They are the perfect size for him to hold. I like that you can separate them to run under the tap a bit to make it easy to remove the lolly. Only down side is it can be a little tough to clean in all the little nooks at the base of the lolly stick, but I just soak it in hot soapy wate
Really good product especially at this time of year!! Have been freezing yogurt for my little boy. He finds them fairly easy to hold, he’s 6 and a half months old, but I tend to hold for him! Great portion size to so not a lot of waste! However the plastic that holds them together cracked when trying to pull them apart. Not an issue for me but now can’t clip them all together.
Used this for fruit puree to freeze to help with baby teething. Great size easy for baby or young child to grip also easy to clean and storr if not in use. Freezes well with no problems sitting straight and can stack
Really like the product but it’s a little on the flimsy side. One of the trays broke on first use. Other 3 still going strong tho and they’re great for bubs to be able to hold onto
These have been so handy for my little one however I had to remove a star as one broke ad I was trying to remove from the mould so they can become brittle over time! Run under water before trying to pull out.
I introduced this to my son when he was two (so a lot later) he was getting to the stage where he wanted ice cream/ice lollies but their obviously full of sugar! I blend fruits with water or milk and fill these. He absolutely loves it!! So far so good. Only thing I will say is that they are quite small for older children and he finishes it quickly. But I think it would be perfect for 6m-12m. Great grip on the handle too, avoids him dropping it & making a mess. You can separate all four so you don’t need to take them all out of the freezer at the same time
Quite a good size and easy for my baby to hold on to but they click together so tight that they’ve snapped on 2nd use. Can still use them but have to wedge them in between things in the freezer to keep them upright.
I love it and my baby also. I was using for frozen brest milk for baby. Its help for us with treating problem, it’s give cold effect and baby dint feel pain.
Perfect quality and I think that products you can use for so many years and different age for kids.
It’s perfect because you can use just one container or all
Good product but unfortunately I dropped them when I took them out of the freezer and the edges of the cover part of them broke. They still work great as this part just covers the top of the ice-pop. The handle part is really durable and prefect for a little hand to hold. My toddler loves his fruit pops on them. The trick to removing the cover when you take them out of the freezer is to run them under old water for a few seconds.
Bought these to make yoghurt lollies for my teething baby. Perfect size for little hands and the rim catches it as it melts.
The tray actually clips apart so if you haven’t room in the freezer for all four you can freeze them individually or in sets of two.
I boiled the kettle and poured it into a bowl into which I had stood the tray in order to release them and it worked perfectly.
All round a great little product, would recommend.
Great for filling with leftover pure from pouches. East for baby to hold. Mine hasn’t quite got used to very cold food yet so we haven’t been able to enjoy them. Unfortunately the casing snapped so they no longer connect together as four. A bit annoying because they won’t stand upright by themselves individually.
These have been a life saver for my 12month old who has really been struggling with teething. I used them to freeze organic yogurts and will today be using freshly squeezed watermelon. He absolutely loves them, it’s easy for him to hold on to and he gets a nice cold treat for his sore gums without all the added sugars etc you would get in shop brought ice lollies.
Absolute bargain, work perfectly. We have several different ice lolly moulds, lolly and popsicle style ones, and these are easily the best, easiest for babies to hold, and even my 6 year old chooses these over the bigger ones as they are easier to eat. they hold roughly 1/4 of a cow and gate fruit pure pot which is great as one pot fills all 4 perfectly.
Great idea and easy to use. As previous reviews state – a shame the plastic fixing the lollies together is too brittle when frozen and breaks (mine broke on first use like some of the others despite being extra careful and gentle as I was aware of the issue). I would be giving 5 stars if it wasn’t for this though as my girl loves being able to have a lolly like her big bro and it really helps with teething.
Great for my baby daughter but product broke upon first use. The clips that hold the items together snapped the first time i unclipped each one and I was very gentle. Also snapped when I asked my husband to unclip one. Not sure how safe that is with a baby based on how brittle they are. Slightly awkward to clean deep inside as bottle brush doesn’t fit inside but none the less I still like the produc
Great for making your own ice lollies especially for the little ones teething. I used milk or juice with frozen fruit and my lo would happily sit and eat it and one of the best thing’s is it doesn’t drip like most of the other make your own ice lollies as it has like a wee drip part and when the ice did fall into it my lo would put his finger in to out the ice if it hadn’t melted already. Also great that you can take them apart from the other’s. I wash them in the dishwasher and no problems.
The plastic nubs that hold the four stands together in the freezer broke off the first time it was used. It’s still usable but disappointing for something with a brand name to do. The stick part in the middle of the ice lolly is quite long so I don’t fill the trays up all the way, leave about a 0.5-1cm gap from the top or my baby can’t really eat it as the stick is in the way. I use mine with breast milk at 4 months for teething pains. The handle is a good size and shape for her to hold herself, just a shame it broke slightly on the first use.
I love these, only thing is it’s a bit hard to get some of the ice lollies out of the moulds. However it’s a great way to get your little one to eat fruit. My four year old wouldn’t dare eat a piece of mango but when it’s in lolly form he gobbles and slurps it down.My 10 month old likes them too but I think he’ll like them more when he is better at holding them.
These lolly moulds are great. You use them just like you would any other moulds — fill with puree, juice or yogurt, pop the stick in and put them in the freezer. The finished lollies do often get stuck, but running the mould under a warm tap easily solves this.
I found these great when weaning my daughter. The handle was easy for her little hands to grip and the finished ice lollies are soothing for sore gums. Even now my daughter is almost two I still make lollies in these moulds as they are a good size for her. I much prefer making these up than giving shop bought lollies as you can be sure of exactly what has gone into them.
Another thing I like is that you can separate the moulds. This is handy when taking out of the freezer as you don’t have to take all four lollies out at once.
I would recommend these, I think that they are a fab product from the weaning stage onwards.
This product is excellent! My little boy (5months) is wanting to try all sorts of food now, and makes you feel very guilty when you have something that he can’t have ie sugary ice lolly! I bought this to make him his own and he LOVES it! I freeze baby juice, water and pured fruit too. He’s teething also so it brings some well needed relief to his little gums 🙂
The only flaw I’ve found is its difficult to remove the lolly from the mould unless you run it under warm water first.
In conclusion excellent product and would definitely recommend!
I’m really happy with these moulds so far. The perfect size for little hands and tummies. The handle is a comfortable hold for a little grip. They make a nice size little lolly for a young child…my 17 month old manages to finish it before the lolly has chance to melt everywhere.
I’ve read on other reviews that the central part has snapped off…which is a bit of a concern, so I keep a good watch while the lolly is being eaten. Some reviews said that they snapped getting them out of the tray because they are hard to release…I held them under hot running water first, and they released easily.
Going to use them for a little bit longer, see how well they handle the test of time…then, all going well, will order some more!
My newly walking daughter has taken a couple tumbles onto her face and I’ve handed her ice in a sealable bag to suck on, to ease the pain. This wasn’t an ideal method so I thought I’d try having something like these moulds on hand for hot days and the like.
So far they are great. They are easy to take out of the mould after freezing and my daughter can hold her ice by the handle and not an actual ice cube. I just use water (rather than juice) and she is still just as happy with them.
I haven’t yet had any problems with broken sticks.
Well designed for small babies – a good size so my little one (7m) doesn’t get a headache from too much but doesn’t get upset having it taken off him when he can see it isn’t finished (this was a problem with a larger home-made lolly). No sharp bits and easy for him to hold so he can gain his independence. Nice and easy to remove from moulds. I also like the fact that the tray can snap apart into 4 pieces so you can slot the lollies into little gaps in the freezer (mine isn’t very big).
Slight caveat about the Annabel Karmel website where they suggest you look for recipes – some of the recipes are not suitable for under-ones e.g. include honey. Otherwise great product.
These little moulds are great, just the right size for my daughter to hold and devour all the yummy ice cold goodness offered to her.
We have had these a few months now and although they are not offered on a regular basis she has eaten lollies made from these moulds several times now with no issues of anything snapping or breaking etc. Every piece is exactly like the day i received them.
One very obvious tip is to run the mould under the tap which helps dislodge the lolly from the mould with relative ease.
I also like how each of the moulds can be separated for cleaning etc and you can pop the uneaten lollies back in the freezer.
Overall, no complaints from me, or my little girl;)
