A great alternative to the super expensive versions – drys you off quickly and is great when open water swimming
My husband bought this for me as part of my Christmas presents not quite what I wanted but is not to bad does what it has to do.
Brilliant for changing after a cold water swim. Would recommend.
Great for after coming out of the water and warming up in the cooler months.
Good cover up towel on the beach. Keeps you from being exposed whole changing.
Although it looks like normal towelling, it does feel more like a microfibre cloth which I don’t like the feel of so it was washed twice before proper use to soften up a bit.
It’s perfectly ok, it does what it needs to do.
Stylish and practical. Roomy enough for comfort, but not too thick, so dries relatively quickly. Still absorbent enough for apres beach or shower.
Bought this for my 13 year old granddaughter to wear on a Northumbrian beach – perfect. Warm, full coverage and she felt it was ‘cool’! Immediately ordered one for my neice.
I got tons of use out of this at the beach! Really comfy and looks great. I ordered red and it’s more of a rust colour, but lovely
I have been swimming in the sea for almost a year and wish I had bought this months ago. Yes it’s on the big side ….i’m 5 ft 4 and size 12 but the size makes it so easy to get changed modestly ( in a car park) and nice material makes it comfortable for driving home.
Only thing I would change is the colour …..but .one advantage ….if I ever go to a ” Come as a Star Wars character party ” …I am sorted ….Obi Wan Kenobi lookalike !
Its worth paying a bit more for a thick robe like this. Just put it on over your swimwear and you’re instantly warm, then it’s nice and roomy for changing under 🙂
Was a bit dubious as you can’t tell fabric quality when buying online, but was pleasantly surprised with this – nice soft towel material which dries quickly and it’s a good size for me easily to get changed in, not too awkward and no flashing!
I liked the colour and it is nice and roomy for getting changed on the beach. I don’t know how absorbent it is yet as not used it . I find the material very corse to the touch , maybe after a couple of washes it will soften.. hopefully!
It’s more absorbent than the last robe I bought, and is heavier than I anticipated, but it works.
I bought the red and I washed it immediately as I read the warning about the colour run.
As the result of one wash, I won’t be risking the colour running again, so will wash it separately.
I’m a larger lady though, and quite snug on me.
Would imagine perfect for any size up to 18, but obviously tighter fitting on any bigger, as it is on me.
Not as absorbing as I expected.
Thought it would be like a towel, but not as thick as that.
Needs washing with dark colours only, several times BEORE using, as colour runs a lot!
The material felt a little ‘squeaky ‘ before washing, but this softened after a few times in the washing machine.
Overall, glad I bought it to put over a swimming costume when drying off from the sea.
This is brilliant. Really dries you quickly and is super comfortable. One tip I’ve found is that you need to roll/fold the back up on the outside so that when you put it on, it doesn’t tuck inside and stick to your shoulders. I love it.
I’m a size 22 and was worried it would be snug, but still plenty of room in it.
I will be taking it away camping for those trips to the loo at 4am!
Plenty of room for changing after an outdoor swim. Towelling is absorbent, more so after the robe has been through a washing cycle. Handy pocket across the front keeps your hands warm.
Perfect poncho, take sup way more pace in my swim bag than a normal towel but is so much more comfortable! easy to change under if you need too. Biggest downsides are the size in my bag, and that it seems to take much longer to dry than a regular towel and not be as absorbent. Not great if your swims are too close togethe
I was worried this would be a thin towelling but no, its great. Im size 16/18 and there is just enough room to change under it. Not sure it would be big enough for larger people unless you just want it for warmth over a costume.
This robe has been perfect, and does exactly as described – acts as a fantastic changing robe for when I go paddle boarding. I’m a 5’5 UK 14, it comes down past my knees and I have PLENTY of space to get changed under it. Quality is very good, outside for some reason feels a bit weird under my fingertips, but overall it;s been a good purchase.
Looking foward to using it again soon!
Perfect for getting out of the hot tub on a cold day. Looking forward to taking it the the beach when allowed. Only problem is it’s a bit static so can’t tumble dry, but other than that it’s exactly what I wanted.
It is definitely very large. Way larger than me because I’m a little on the small side but should be ok for a normal person as it’s roomy enough to change in.
The length is good, not too short or too long. For me anyway and I’m about 170cms.
And I have tumble dried this on low with no problems.
Was looking for a changing towel for a good price and this is it! Apart from the material feeling a little bit weird, it does the trick and will fit most sizes.
– I wanted it to be roomy enough to change under and wanted to be able to share it with my teenage children if necessary (having forgotten to pack theirs)
– I wanted a kangaroo pouch pocket at the front to keep my hands warm when I couldn’t be bothered to change on the beach
– for similar reasons, I wanted a long-sleeved poncho
– I wanted a hood to keep wet hair dry
– it needed to be thick enough to keep me warm after swimming, and not just as a cover-up to change under
This fitted the bill on all counts and I plan to make year-round use of it at my local gym which only has ONE cubicle. This will help me avoid flashing unsuspecting passers-by in the changing room and will save me having to cover my modesty by holding my towel in my teeth whilst getting dressed beneath
