This is possibly an old batch so has to be updated during the setting up process and this is tricky. For those much brighter than me and can work out the instructions on using two devices for set up, this will be a breeze. For the rest of us this is pure determination and taking no defeat. It took me 3 hours for set up but once I worked out what was needed it took about 5 mins. Read instructions very very carefully as a bit confusing. Otherwise a great gadget loved by my granddaughte
Have bought this for a two-old-old along with three characters. Did the sensible thing and waited until Black Friday so got it for twenty pounds less than the normal price. It’s good quality, solid and well made and not at all shoddy and looks very nice. The characters are just the right size for chubby little fingers to place on the top of the Tonie box.
We have since added a number of different characters to the set
My daughter uses it most days and dances to lots of the songs, it is well built and can be tossed around with no damage, sound quality is good and has a lot of features
With the standard toni character you can record your own messages and songs.
It’s overall good fun and enjoyed by my daughter

I had been ummmming and ahhhing about this for ages but in the prime day sale it was great value. The stories are great, even if not that long. The creative tonie is brilliant, I have loaded it with chill out music and bedtime stories and have it playing when putting my son to bed.
Brilliant product, had one for 3.5yr old already n brought this one for her little sister 1yr old n she worked out how to use it and pick stories she likes in just a few minutes. Love i
We weren’t too sure about getting him a tonie box. However, it was the best thing we have bought him. He loves the audio stories and it has increased his love for books. Highly recommend if you are looking to get your child’s imagination kickstarted or growing, this is a great present.

We used this item as a present for our grandson but had a bit of trouble setting it up! There was no instructions so had to go online to set it up and it wasn’t always clear how to continue but we got there in the end!
Good but essentially just an audiobook so just a bit pricey but good for a present. I would prefer it if the voices of the tv programs were the same but suppose then they would probably cost more. (Gruffalo/zog/highway rat)
This is the second one I have bought for two sets of grandkids.. Great for kids of all ages. Simple to use once they realise they can’t play with the figure and listen to the story. Maybe there’s a market for ‘dumb’ figures to include with the box. Set up was simple and once charged was up and running in minutes. Great selection of figures and stories too.
I absolutely love This as a parent and my little one loves listening to the stories to, even at 5 months old. The sound quality is amazing and sounds just as though someone is reading the book right next to you. The battery life seems to hold quite well but the charger is easy to use as the box sits on top of it. Fairly easy to set up – just need internet and the tonies app. Lots of tonies and stories to choose from. Overall great buy and gift!
My kids love it. It’s great to listen to before bed and they love playing with the characters. Once the stories have been downloaded you don’t need access to internet to listen to them. Each

Bought as a Christmas gift for our kids aged 5&4 and they are loving it so far!
Found set up a wee bit longer than I hoped but it seems very easy to use.
Our boys have loved lying in bed listening to stories and as Julia Donaldson stories are some of their favourites they are really enjoying their new tonie.

This is now our second Tonie box as my youngest loves her sisters, so much so that santa is bringing her, her own one for Christmas. The characters are robust and the stories are perfect for bedtime. Would definitely recommend
There’s no skip (rewind or fast forward) function but I’m sure they’ll add that to future versions.

Bought for my little girl’s 2nd Birthday and she loves it. Well made, with lots of easy to use features such that she is already to use it. It will take her a while to skip between stories/chapters but she can put the stories on herself and adjust the volume
