Does what it’s supposed to! Fairly lightweight, folds easily enough, wheels easily removed so will fit it the boot of a VW polo and still room for a bag of shopping,Good off road and build quality pretty good for the price point! Have found no reason to not recommend!
We bought this buggy as we had recently got a puppy & our pushchair couldn’t cope with fields, mud and general off roading that comes with walking a dog, this has been a great purchase, easy to fold (once you get the hang of unclipping both side and unhooking it) really easy to unfold, it comes with a small storage compartment under the pram we put the rain cover a small nappy bag and a large drinks bottle in it, there a a couple of compartments on the large hood. I think you can buy a storage basket aswel but we haven’t bothered.
Soooo easy to walk with a dog on a lead and push the pram one handed, it also has a wrist strap for extra security, the hood offers a large and great protection from both rain and sun, comfy seat my 1year old loves it, light weight to push.
Downsides:
Putting the seat back up after it’s been reclined is a bit faffy
Harness is a bit of a faf.
Bumper bar opens on either side but doesn’t stay open it falls back into place when trying to get the child in which is a pain so we don’t use it.
Overall though love the pram, mid range price, light weight and it’s a great all round pram, off road, in town etc
Absolutely fantastic on all terrains! It has been out farming today and been nearly all over the farm the other day. Great going through doorways really neat and nimble with one hand. Cannot fault it at all, the rain cover fits really well too. Possibly it could do with the UV cover included but have since ordered it. Highly recommend i
Bought this as had seen someone in the village with one as I was struggling with a four wheel pushchair.
So easy to manoeuvre, and alter sitting position for baby.
One of the best baby purchases to date, we did get a flat tyre but it was easy to replace luckily not far from home, we have a puncture repair kit and pump in pocket now, had trouble trying to get the gel stuff in so not bothering with that.
Only other negative is the handle which is splitting but it wouldn’t stop me buying another if ever needed.
The baby loves it too which is a bonus!
Overall OK buggy, good things: very easy to maneuver and lightweight. But there are very annoying things like buggy handle has to be removed completely to put the child in (it would be much easier if you could only unplug it from on side and just turn it away), brakes are very annoying, it takes a lot of effort to handle them, location of brake is also not convenient – right in the middle, and if you have a bag hanging on the handle, you have to look under the bag to locate the brakes, would be much easier if handle is on the side. Also handle is made of spongy material and when folded comes in contact with wheels, would be better if it would be material which is easy to wipe off.
Ordered this pram after much research but was still nervous about whether I made the right decision but I absolutely did. It is easy to assemble, lightweight and stylish and is truly the perfect pram for where I live, which is a rural area with lots of hills. This pram makes light work over them all and so far is great over all terrain (woodland, grass, urban areas) and tackles kerbs etc with ease. My friend has a pram which costs 3 times as much and she struggles to get up kerbs etc which is a pain for her but this pram has great suspension etc and newborn baby doesnt feel anything when he is in. I should add that we also bought the adapters to connect it to the maxi cosi car seat we have for baby and it’s perfect.
The tyres are air filled and strong.
The off road capability is very good. I’m talking serious mud ruts both soggy and hard, bumpy grass, woodland tracks with tree stumps and branches, stony and gravely paths, snow and ice. I’ve tested on all of these and it’s been good so far.
The ride/suspension is fine. It feels “sporty” so a little hard maybe. Not as smooth as my silver cross but is very satisfying and feels quality. Brakes are easy to apply. However, if you’ve got a long stride or short arms then you may end up kicking the brake pedal occasionally. A bit annoying but you’ll soon learn. The basket is an expandable draw string mesh one, it will hold the rain cover and some other bits quite easily. Without the rain cover there’s loads of room! In wet weather stuff in there might get splashed with mud as it’s carries quite low. The seat insert is nicely padded, cocooned, wipeable and the harness is super easy to fix and adjust. The seat has lots of positions, but is annoying to lift to an upright sitting position when you’re on your own. The foot rest is really sturdy and wipeable with nice branding detail. The safety bar across is nicely padded and even has a bite proof removable cover! The canopy makes a clacky noise when it’s moved! Quite alarming to a sleeping little person. Not great. But is a very waterproof canvas material and provides good coverage. There are 4 pouches in the canopy, 2 of which are quite roomy with zips. Great for your Land Rover defender keys. The handle bar has minimal positions. Only moves up and down but not towards or away from you. This can feel a bit like you’ve got T-Rex arms or a bit of a hunch back when you’re pushing along. Great! It’s not unbearable what so ever and you will get used to it. The handle bar is covered in a lovely squishy foam that feels really great and absorbs some of the bumpiness. No room for a cup holder that I can work out. Around town..(where even is that?) it corners very well but it’s quite wide. Fits through the door at Costa perfectly well. It can feel a little unsteady when the back wheels are lifted and it’s only on its front wheel. Folds and assembles so easy using only one little metal catch. Not heavy but not light. Great user friendly instructions, brilliant accessories although I’ve not got any (yet). Rain cover slots straight over and uses poppers to fasten. I am a serious walker and I did not like being held back by a pram. I bought this to do the job, and it does! I can pretty much go where I like and walk for miles and baby is happy too! I would buy another. If i were to compare it to a car, it would be a little hatchback with a satisfying sporty suspension and nice quality sturdy interior..most likely a golf GTI. But with a panda 4×4 capability. It feels great for the money. Yes please!
This stroller is AMAZING!! You can steer it on rough getting with one finger and I’m not exaggerating. It’s very lightweight, folds up and back out unbelievably easily, is a great size when folded down, and my little one is always happy when she’s in it so I’m guessing it’s comfy too!! So well worth the money.
Love this pushchair, such a smooth ride & plenty of room for my big baby. I have had these before with my other children & always end up going back to these. Great for walks in the woods/park with the kids & dog. Strong robust & last well.
We love our out n about nipper, it goes over grass and rough terrain without a second thought. The only one slight negative is it is a bit fiddly to move seat position however I guess my wee one is still very little and sleeps a lot, I’m sure as he grows I won’t be having to change positions as often. Still the best buggy I have used for off road adventures! Xx
A really good pushchair if you want to go almost anywhere! Have used on hills, cliff-sides, the beach, roads. It’s very comfy for my 2.5 year old and easy to steer even with one hand!
It folds down easily to fit in the car.
Took a star off because the wheels burst very easily and I’ve had to get new inner tubes and reinforcing gel.
It’s a very well made pushchair. The pushchair itself is robust and can deal with difficult terrain. I have used it for 5 mile runs on gravel paths. It’s quite large when collapsed. However wheels can all be released quickly. We had an issue with the brake but a quick squirt of WD40 got it moving again.
We’ve had a babyzen yo-yo since birth, but it just cannot handle anything other than smooth pavement. This can! Been using it for a month or so now and it’s been excellent – handles off road really well, gives a comfortable ride for our 9 month old and the drawstring netting at the back is big enough for a rolled up picnic blanket and a few bits.
We’ve also jogged a couple of times with it, without even locking the wheel at the front, and it does great! The adjustable handlebar improves comfort and we’ve had no issues so far.
The canopy arms are fairly stiff so they creak opening and closing, but it doesn’t really matter. The actual canopy itself is surprisingly big – good projection forward.
Would recommend this stroller for outdoor use!
Great buggy at a better price.
Smooth rolling wheels and a height adjustable handle make for a pleasant experience to push. The recline is a favourite for the kids, it’s comfier and cosier for naps. It is not a light buggy but as it’s so smooth to push you don’t notice the weight until you pick it up. Folds up far flatter than you would expect as well.
Perfect for zipping around in, folds up really well and fits in both cars without having to remove any wheels etc, my car is a BMW saloon and I’ve always struggled but not with this. Great comfy ride for the little man too, falls asleep instantly
This is a great pram. I like to keep fit at the gym and would normally run on a treatmill but due to Covid19 (and being on maternity leave) I needed something to do outside for my daily outdoor exercise allowance.
This pram was easy to put together and really light weight to use. Baby slept whilst I run for the first go, so proved it was a smooth ride. Quite a big buggy so may not take to the shops but great for intended purpose of jogging with my baby.
EDIT: Such a great buggy. The more I use this, the more I’m enjoying this. No need to purchase a basket for the bottom. The Big zips at the side of the hood are very deep. Perfect for keys and phone. The big pocket underneath is perfect for drinks bottle, blanket for baby, purse etc…
Great purchase.
This is the 3rd pushchair we’ve had in the last 18 months and oh do I wish I’d bought this first. It’s lightweight and easy to push, fold to a good compact size to fit in the boot of the car or cupboard in the house, the pockets are adequate to fit in a few essentials and bits from the shop, the hood offers good protection. Comes with a rain cover which we haven’t needed yet but not a sun shade which I probably use more than the rain cover. So far have used it around our village and around the woods with no problems and my little boy seems very happy and comfortable in it.
Love love love my out and about. Does everything I need it to.
It’s strong, steedy and easy to clean.
My only criticism is the brake! They fill up with mud and don’t work. Very poor design but everything else about this pram is amazing
Cracking pushchair especially for our lifestyle. I had brought a normal travel system but found the baby wasnt supported enough as lacked enough suspension. Our little one has been in it from birth with the carry cot we’ve been on lots of walks and doesnt move around like the other travel system we had. We feel much happier. Now just using the main pushchair at 3months old and the straps keep baby nice and safe. Only downside is that it’s not adaptable to be parent facing. Did get a puncher but have used the green gunk for tyres on all three wheels havent had a problem since. Have replaced a inner tube on my sisters outnabout would recommend a tyre kit to keep in the bottom of the pram or in your car.
We use this as our main pushchair now for our 7 month old. It’s great and very easy to handle, you can very easily push it and control it one handed which makes it great for walking the dog with or holding a walking child’s hand. The handles also adjust upwards and downwards to make it more comfortable for people of different heights to walk with.
Goes smoothly over bumps, cobbles and up and down curbs.
Comfortable for baby and the harness is really secure.
Folds down easily once you get the knack.
Its a really sturdy pushchair, highly recommended!
This is a genius pram which my son loves! It’s fab for running as it’s light and manoeuvrable, however, I think I would buy it even if I didn’t run for those reasons. Would 100% recommend.
I bought this for taking out my 18 month old grandson. We regularly go to parks & this works well ‘off path’ It was really easy to put together & the instructions were really clear. It’s easy to put up & down. My only negative is that the harness is fiddly to fasten & doesn’t feel as sturdy as I’d expect, from the quality of the pushchair.
Theres a massive difference between city prams and this. We still have our city pram for shopping trips or quick run outs, but we use this for long walks or hiking.
My city pram runs like a dream as it is, so I didn’t think you could get a pram easier to push? I was wrong. This is amazing for long walks, it takes off alot more of the baby’s weight so it litterally runs so smoothly. With the inflated wheels it’s really bouncy and my little one LOVES it when we bounce up a Kirb or over something with some depth and it finds it hilarious! With my city pram if we bump over something with a little depth it’s like a train crash! The suspension is amazing and so is the strengh of the pram, I weigh around 52kg and I can sit on it no problem (cause what’s funnier than mummy in your pram?!), I’ll usually sit on the foot part if there’s no seats around so it’s a massive Pro for me! Its easier to walk the dogs alongside it as there’s less of a chance of accidentally running their paws over with only one wheel situated in the middle.
That said, it is a wide/lengthy bulky pram and its size becomes an inconvenience for manoeuvring round shops, arcades, small spaces so it’s always good to have a shopping pram alongside this so you can switch between the two for best suited for the occasion, but it’s definitely bgreat if you do alot of long walks, country walks etc.
Have had this pram for a few weeks now and am really enjoying it. It’s lovely and smooth to push and steer and doesn’t hurt my back or wrists like my last pushchair. I have taken it through woodland and over very bumpy pavements and my 5.5 month old has slept in it and been very comfortable. I am still getting the hang of folding it and I have to say it is not the easiest to fold. When I fold it the handle seems to go to the floor which given that the pushchair handle had a notice on it when it arrived, which stated the foam handle is not covered by guarantee and must be looked after, seems surprising. But there may be a better way to fold it that I haven’t discovered yet. It is however very easy and quick to unfold. I don’t find it easy to raise the seat when my baby is lying down in it so I think this could be improved (it is a drawstring mechanism to move the seat). However I would buy this again because, for me, the important thing is the drive of the pushchair and how comfortable it is for my baby and I am very happy with both of these! It was easy to assemble and on the advice of a friend who recommended this pushchair to me, I have put bike slime in the tyres to avoid getting punctures.
One of my favourite features is that the handle can be adjusted and being 5 foot 10 I find the middle and highest setting very comfortable.
his pushchair is wonderful. it is perfect for my 2 year old daughter who has special needs so needed a long lasting spacious pushchair that is good for her posture as struggles to hold herself up. we also live on the third floor with no lift so it being lightweight so I can carry it up stairs was essential. it is much lighter than our old pushchair. it is so easy to push and glides along. I’m so in love with it and everyone is asking me about it as they also want one.
Purchased for my granddaughter. Excellent sitting positions and very comfortable to push especially around park and trials. Easy folding and seems well built and robust. Easy to put together on arrival and straight forward closing and opening from the car. Granddaughter loves it and keeps her snug. Purchased the foot cover to add warmth. Very pleased with purchase and would recommend stroller and selle
Loving this. We live rurally and I was wrecking the pram we have on the forestry tracks. This is perfect. It glides across all the bumps and is so easy to push on rough terrain. 8 month old is comfy and mostly sleeps her way round the walk.
Great buggy, smooth ride and very easy to manoeuvre. I would by this again in a second. It collapses down as small as any of the other top brands. Because of the air filled tyres you can push this anywhere and it feels light to push. If you are concerned with punctures you can fill the tyres with a gell which stops punctures. Thats what we did. My only gripe is that there are not many places to attach toys to.
Came on time delivery was excellent with a hour slot – buggy came with a rain cover and pouch/basket underneath so need no to buy separately. Bit awkward to fold flat but we are sure it will get easier with practice. First impressions are very good quality build.
Very pleased with this buggy! I’ve taken it for a run and it’s a smooth ride, my 6 month old was so comfortable in it that she slept through every bump and pothole! We’ve put it through it’s paces on rough terrain and it handles brilliantly. So easy and light to push. The only downsides are that it’s a very noisy hood and although it’s a “compact fold” it’s still huge! It folds down so that it’s reasonably narrow but VERY tall. I also got a puncture so it’s definitely worth making sure you carry a spare inner tube if you’re off the beaten track
eally good pushchair we had the double previously and knew w wanted the single now the kids are bit older. Something to be aware of thought the straps are no longer one unit. By this i mean you have to connect the bottom and top part of the strap around the babies shoulder and body before conecting it into the buckle and repeat on the opposit side. This is VERY annoying especially if your baby is now a boistrious toddler who doesnt like to sit still in the first place let alone long enough to find all the bits of the strap and carefully connect them up
We’ve had this pushchair/buggy for nearly two years and it’s simply fantastic.
We live in a fairly rural location and it tackles ploughed fields and rocky tracks just as well as urban pavements when we head into town. It’s not the smallest or lightest, but has proved amazingly durable and dependable. Much like the average mountain bike; if you use the pushchair a lot, on rough terrain, you will need to replace an inner tube or two- but we have always seen this as part of the general upkeep.
The attachments for car seats (when our daughter was very small) are very useful and so easy to use, but even now that she’s a toddler, she still loves to sit in her buggy so it must be comfy!
We love our Out N About, it’s proved a great purchase.
Great value, well constructed, all-terrain buggy that’s comfy for our newborn and easy to manoeuvre.
The only thing I would add to the above review is that the brake is very awkward and now after over a year is almost impossible to engage with your foot and hard even when you bend down and use your hand. Might be fixable but haven’t had a chance to try yet.
UPDATE ON BRAKE:
The reason the brake gets hard to engage is due to corrosion on the metal bar. 3 minutes of rubbing with wire-wool and a quick squirt of WD-40 (oil) and it is now once again as good as new. I did this about a year ago and it’s still fine.
It’s an amazingly smooth ride and so easy to push. I was recommended this as a multi terrain pram as I live in the countryside. It’s great for the bumpy roads but it’s frustrating how many punctures I get if I walk on any public footpaths……I don’t know if it would make a difference to the smoothness to have foam filled tyres instead of air filled. If I have another puncture I’m going to look at getting this done.
I’ve been looking for a running buggy for a while, and eventually settled on this one. Got it a month ago and I absolutely LOVE it. I bought it as an actual running buggy; so far I’ve had it out on several runs and it’s fabulous.
It is very light and easy to manoeuvre, and I find it really easy to fold up as well. Oh and assemble was a doddle. The front wheel can lock, which I would advise doing when running There is a wrist strap too, which I would also advise using, especially when running on hills or bumpy ground. It does not have a basket but rather has a pouch behind the seat, which is big enough to hold the raincover, a jumper and a 1.5l bottle as well as other small bits and bobs. I have run with a small changing bag looped over the handle. It has the usual features like adjustable seat recline, adjustable handle etc. I would absolutely recommend this product.
I love my Nipper! Really easy to manuvre, quick and simple to fold and open. Goes with my maxi cosy car seat. Also bought the pram / carrycot which clicks on easily. Comes with a rain cover which also fits over the car seat or carrycot. Only disadvantage is the space it takes up in the boot of the car (although I leave the tyres on which makes it bulkier).
