It’s a rubber hammer. It does less damage than a metal hammer.
Bought to build some metal shelving and worked a treat.
This mallet was invaluable in laying my 600×600 concrete slab patio. Good quality item with a softer and firmer rubber option.
Solid does the job, amazed how it knocks big concrete slabs in place. Felt like Thor lol

Not much else can said about this. It’s a mallet, it’s sturdy and feels of good quality for the price. Used it on various jobs around the house and it’s performed well.
Purchased to assist in the assembly of a table constructed of metal struts which needed tapping together firmly but without damage. The mallet undoubtably helped complete the job successfully.
It is however bigger and heavier than I had anticipated, but that is entirely my fault for overestimating my needs.
This Rubber hammer by OX is by far the best ive had, it has everything the grip, the sturdiness, weight perfectly balanced and superior to all others i have had. I only wish i hadn’t of had to buy it twice as my last 1 was stolen, but for the work it puts in without breaking up into bits like all the others seem to do, its worth its weight in gold.

The length of the mallet is perfect you can give the sandstone quite a Wallop and it’s heavy enough to have the desired effect without being so heavy that you can cause damage. I used both sides of the mallet and ended up using the black side more than the “non marking” side so to speak and the black side did not leave any marks either I’m completely happy with this product .
After laying my first patio slab by beating it with my fist I realised this was another “right tool for the job” situation.
The hammer has a nice weight to it, looks smart and more importantly is very sturdy.
I did “unleash the power” as it says on the handle and crack one of my patio stones – doh.
Remember to use the white half of the head for delicate work.
