It is very hard and non pliable, with no absorbancy. This means its great for scrubbing on the flat or into corners exactly the same shape as the scrubber. However, it does not absorb any of the residue, you therefore need to go over the tiles etc with a soft absorbant cloth after. I find no use for this whatsoever, as my tiles are clean and was hoping for a tool to reach into places I can’t that would give them a wipe over. This does not do that. I can’t imagine anything being that dirty that this item would be valuable, and you would need something else to clean up after it.

Gets the job done without having to climb into the bath to clean the tiles. I would like to be able to detach the head and have a softer one for the plastic bath, that would be awesome. I spray a few scoots of SMOL onto the tiles and then use the scrubber then i put a terry towel cloth over the end and wipe dry. Brilliant tool and very good quality.

Cleans bath and walls tiles effectively. I was sceptical of ordering due to a few irritations mentioned in other reviews but I have had no issues. The pole is sturdy and stays in position, the head easy to manouvre. Head cleans quickly and effectively. Good shape for all areas, corners, slope of bath etc.

I use this to clean the shower tray and it works very well. I just wish that the head had some degree of friction so it was easier to control. It’s fine when the handle is upright but trying to use the edge bristles is difficult as the weight just drops the head down. The reverse applies when trying to clean the wall tiles and the head drops backwards. It still works but could have been so much better.

    Very good in every way.
    Very good design.
    Sturdy.
I fasten a micro fibre cloth around it and use it for loads of other cleaning.
Everyone should have one of these.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe brush is good and it does scrub well. The only thing I found not easy to use is that the brush head itself moves up and down and there is no way to choose to keep it fixed sometimes when it needs. Other than that very good quality

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersHandy having the long extendable handle for cleaning hard to reach areas but the sponge is not that easy to rinse or squeeze excess water out of. Does the job but not as well as expected.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe idea of this product is great, I have 2 shower enclosures to clean so thought this would help get the tough to reach spots up high. Yeah not the reality. The extension would be ideal but the lock doesn’t work at all. Maybe mine is faulty but I’m not willing to spend twice to find out.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersOk, got this based on reviews (which I have learned to pay attention to).

It took some time to figure out how to lock the handle into place after extending. Ah, it’s the orange collar on the join that needs the twist, not the poles.

I didn’t find the pad to be very absorbent, the washing solution I used just dripped out. So, for some of the work I draped a terry tea towel over the head to increase application of the cleaner. The extension did reach to the very top of the tiles, so that was good.

The shape of the scrub pad gets into the corners. The side edge of the pad reaches where the walls meet, and the pointed top edge gets to the top corners where the walls meet the ceiling.

What I found lacking was a raised ridge (or row of short, very very stiff bristles) anywhere on the pad face that would allow scrubbing the grout between tiles. The grout is lower than the tile faces and the pad does not compress enough to get into the grout crevices. So, for the lower tiles the grout was a by-hand scrubbing job with a small brush, but the upper tiles are out of reach to clean with a brush and the pad is ineffective for cleaning the higher grout.

The bath/shower is mostly clean, but the top grout areas are not as clean as I would have liked.

Would I buy it again? I think so. The pole and head are quite sturdy, it did not bend or flex when using it and the scrub pad is robust enough to scour the tile surfaces and the corners. It took about 1 hr 15 min to do my standard bath/shower. It was a job I put off for a while because I could not reach much and did not have any cleaning tool with an extendable handle to reach the higher areas. I am really glad it’s done and couldn’t have done it without this tool.
