The one I bought in 2014 and have used regularly finally started playing up last year after being so useful.

Buying an identical one to replace it was a no brainer.

I love these scales, they are easy to use, the timeout is pretty long compared to my last set, ive had them a few month now and have had no problems and have no reason to believe they’re not accurate

Really like this scale. Easy to use, accurate, and not too expensive. It is portable enough to bring anywhere, yet has enough weight to stay put on whatever flat surface you put it on. My only cons is that the display scratches very easily, it is NOT back-lit (may be a non issue for you), and the weighing plate scratches easily. Otherwise, love this scale, great investment.

Very sleek looking, minimalist controls and portable. Bought for meal prep and serves that purpose dutifully. Just wish it could measure decimals! Astounding price for what you’re getting.

I took a chance on these scales having been disappointed when my third “well-known brand” started giving odd readings so became absolutely useless.

There are several scales around the same price but I was agreeably surprised by the quality of the these which are mainly metal and the readings are accurate which is all we really want!

still fine after a year of use. No light on the display so make sure the area is well lit. Useful for weighing small postal items.

Piccola, molto pratica e semplice da usare e pulire. Con due tasti si cambia unit di misura e si imposta la tara. Si spegne da sola dopo un paio di minuti di inutilizzo. Vedremo la durata della batteria.

    Servizio Amazon perfetto.

We are very pleased with these scales. The different units of measure and very sensitive detection makes them ideal. The battery seems to go on forever too.

Really simple to use digital scales that make cooking easy work. I love the fact I can zero whilst I am weighing multiple ingredients. Easy to switch between units (no need to turn the scales over to do this as you have to do on some scales) so you can weigh one item in grammes and then the next in ounces if you want to. Easy to store, sleek design and easy to clean.

This scale is great, from the 6″ stainless steel dish, to the general lightweight design, this feels like a quality product. The Tare function is fantastic, allowing you to reset the scale with a bowl or jug on top, so you don’t have to do mathematics every time you bake. The LCD screen is big and very bright, and the buttons feel good and click satisfyingly.
The scale can measure in grams, fluid ounces, millilitres and pounds & ounces, so you should never have to have a calculator in the kitchen, and the lithium battery lasts a very long time (unlike my previous scales, which died within a week).
Outside of the kitchen, I use this to weigh my eBay packages, and this scale goes all the way up to 5.2 kg, which is more than adequate for my needs.
I would highly recommend this product.

This scale is excellent, it is small, neat and very accurate. Great for weighing out both calorie controlled portions and recipe ingredients. The fact that it doesn’t require a bowl and you merely place the container on the scale and zero the reading makes it so much neater thnt the cumbersome old fashioned sprung scales. Cannot fault in any way, no hesitation in recommending.

Brilliant scale, worth the extra few pound than the cheaper versions that break and are inaccurate

I have had these scales for sometime now and I can recommend them. Small, light weight but good quality and reliable. Quickly changes for different weights and wipe cleanable. Good price. You can put bowl on them and add ingredients by zeroing after each addition which is useful

Although I have not done any serious baking with these scales as yet, I’ve had a good play with them and they are everything I hoped they would be. When you are experimenting with making gluten free breads and cakes, you need ACCURATE measurements, and these are just the ticket! Also small, good looking ,and lightweight. Excellent!

A slight downside is that out of the box the battery was already only half charged according to the screen, but this could be because they had been in stock for a while,- the batteries are cheap and easily available!

Credit should go to the “Urban S’mores and the Poison Brownie” site for promoting this product, without which I would never have discovered it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirst of all the company are a delight to deal with. They are friendly and go out of their way to help or advise you which makes for excellent customer service.
The scales are a joy to use and do exactly as they promise but above all are super smart, neat and so easy to store as they are so slim, they fit in anywhere in any cupboard. They come with brilliantly user friendly instructions and well worth treating yourself to. I bought mine off the back of some and many excellent reviews. I bake a lot as well as cooking so they have been invalid and the fact that you can add and weigh is so time saving. I even use theme for weighing my chickens worming product as they are so accurate. If you are considering purchasing digital scales you will not be disappointed with Ozeri ZK011 Precision Pro-Stainless Steel Scales so go on, what keeping you, treat yourself as they are outstanding value and a diddle to keep clean.

I initially bought these scales to weigh specific amounts of food, but find that they are very versatile and it can use them for all my baking, they came well packaged and within a couple of days of ordering

I had already purchased this scale for my personal use. I needed to buy another as a gift. I did not hesitate one second before purchasing the same scale. It performs well and the price is excellent.

I’ve had this thing for years now. I use it often, 2 or 3 times a week. Still on the same battery. Lately it’ll sometimes say low battery, but it’s still chugging along. The one thing that annoys me is it cuts off randomly if idle. I seems like it varies in the cut off time too. Sometimes sooner than later. Once in awhile it’ll cut off while I’m pouring in some tea or something. This is quite annoying. But not enough to hate it for long. My favorite feature is setting a bowl on it before turing it on to have the the bowls weigh in at zero. Or simply pressing the on button again to zero out whatever your weighing. Probably pretty standard but I like it. It also just feels sturdy with the stainless steel weighing table. For better or worse I love it. Four stars because sometimes it acts out weird.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis was my first Ozeri scale I ever purchased-almost TWO years ago, I have purchased to different Ozeri models since and all three are in service working fine. The stainless steel, easy to clean top I rated as a plus in my buying choice. This little scale gets used on a daily basis every since it was purchased. The buttons get a work out daily and neither has never failed and still have a great tactile feel to them when pressed. The display has also held up to daily on/off usage. The accuracy has not changed in the slightest…I thought over time it would. Although it says kitchen I use it as a mailing scale because of the tough and easy to clean stainless steel top. It takes to my uneven mailing table top quite well and provides accurate readings, I generally weigh things a couple of times just to make sure, but they remain the same readings. It compares well with my other more accurate scales too, quite impressive. From the constant use I have given this scale and its ability to remain in service giving accurate readings I would not hesitate to recommend this item.
Update : now five years later and still working excellent. I have put this scale to heavy use and it’s still going strong. The stainless steel top has really made this a nice, easy clean, and durable scale over the years of use. If I could this little champ would get six stars.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersReason for purchase: weight various items for cooking, backpacking etc

    PROS:
-Accurate: I haven’t calibrated this against certified weights, but weighing items of known weight and cross checking against other scales, the worst error Ive noted has been 0.04% error…that’s pretty good.
-Stainless steel platform: Easy to clean and keep sterile, sturdy, resistant to scratching and discoloration.

    CONS:
-Combined on/off-Tare button: It is possible (and I have) to accidentally turn the scale off when using the tare function. That said, it only takes a moment to get used to this quirk and avoid it.
-Measuring range: Only a slight con, but the max weight is limited to 11 lb 4 oz. It would be nice if it had a greater capacity, and you can get scales with wider ranges, but they cost more, so this scales limited range is balanced somwhat by the reasonable price

    NUETRAL POINTS:
-Platform size: I’ve used scales with smaller and larger platforms. A larger platform would be nicer, but with some creative “containing”, I’ve been able to accurately weigh large items such as sleeping bags and back packs on this scale.
-Stable, but needs a stable flat surface: As this unit uses strain gauges, there is none of the “bouncing” you get with free spring scales, so you get a reliable reading faster, but the plastic body is subject to minor flexing, so it does have to be used on a hard, flat surface to insure maximum accuracy. I have experimented a little and been able to induce minor errors (very minor) in results by using this scale on a warped surface.

    Opinions:
Like most tools, if used properly, it fuctions correctly and my experience with this scale has been very positive. I’ve only had it a short time, but have already weighed hundreds of items including food, various containers, clothing, tools, camping gear, first aid items, etc. and cross checking my results randomly with other scales and known weights have demonstrated that this is a very consistant and accurate scale, so I am quite pleased

Some reviewers have noted fast auto shutoff times. I haven’t had any problems with that and would suspect that they may have received weak batteries.

Recommendation: If this scales weighing range meets your needs, I have no reservations recommending this product.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis scale does exactly what it should — it weighs things. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is annoying how it always defaults back to grams every time it’s turned on. But really, it is just a few clicks of the button and then you’re back to the unit you like.

I thought I had bought the model that took regular triple A batteries, but I was looking at so many scales I must have got it mixed up with another. This unit takes a watch battery. Which really isn’t the most convenient, but I’m hoping I don’t have to change the battery on a regular basis.

The scale is easy to clean and use, and has an auto shut-off so you don’t waste your battery. The tare function is also useful so that you can add items to weigh directly into a container.

Overall, very good scale. I gave it 4 stars simply because I hate how it always defaults back to grams, and I would have preferred regular AAA or AA batteries as opposed to the watch battery.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI got this scale for weighing coffee, which I’m brewing with an Aeropress. It was really simple to start using it, I didn’t even need to read any instructions or do any calibrations or anything like that. And it’s really precise and perfect for us coffee geeks (I actually got it through a recommendation from another coffee geek).

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAfter looking at different kitchen scale options for some time I settled on this one. I’ve been pleased by how sturdy the scale feels. The plate is brushed steel, which makes it easier for cleaning given that you can’t wash the whole thing in the sink (I was surprised to see that a number of very popular scales that look metal are actually all plastic). Operation is smooth and simple. Taring is simple. Weighing appears to be precise and accurate. It offers a nice variety of units (g, fl oz, lb oz, mL). The screen is easy to read. The bottom is plastic, which I would have preferred to have been metal, but the plate itself is a bigger deal to me. The two buttons are not sealed, but they are down below the level of the plate and taping over them with packing tape provides sufficient waterproofing (and further simplifies cleaning). It would be nice if each time you turned it on it defaulted to the previously selected unit, but I don’t anticipate that being much of an issue for me.

Finally, one helpful piece of information I couldn’t find before this arrived–the TYPE OF LITHIUM BATTERY IT USES is a CR2032 (all-caps in case you’re scrolling through and it helps). It comes with one already in place, but I actually already happened to have a spare because it’s a common type of watch battery. You can buy it in most grocery stores (as I did mine). They’re cheaper if you look online. At this point Amazon offers this Energizer ECR2032 Watch Battery for just one fifty (with free shipping on amazon prime). It’s even cheaper if you buy them in multipacks, but not bad in any case. I read elsewhere that some folks had bought other ones because they took AAA’s. My two bits: the lithium battery shouldn’t be a major concern–they’re cheap, easy to find, and you don’t have to replace it all that frequently anyway.

[I was initially more interested in the EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale, Black Chrome , but it was all plastic and seemed flimsier than I had hoped when I happened to see one in person–in spite of costing more than this one. I think sometimes products gain momentum and end up accruing lots of great reviews without necessarily being superior to other products. For instance, many people like the EatSmart scale’s book that provides the calories per weight for a lot of different food prepared in different ways. Although that might be convenient, if you’re only looking for a scale, it might not be relevant to your decision.]

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI use this scale to portion ingredients for making bread in a bread maker. Having converted my recipes from volume to mass, then tweaking them over the course of some time, the results are far more consistent. This particular scale is easy to use and clean, and the original batteries are still good after a year of use at least once per month. Can’t really speak to its accuracy, but the results I get when baking suggest it’s decent for that task.

My only complaint is that the scale shuts off automatically a bit too fast. I’ve not timed how fast it shuts off, but it feels like about 2 minutes. I’ve actually ended up changing my behavior to accommodate this task, by lining up all the ingredients assembly-fashion before-hand, so that I’m pressing tare (after the addition of each ingredient into the pan) pretty quickly. Pressing tare does reset the auto-off timer.

I was looking to buy a kitchen scale to be able to weigh ingredients to bake more accurately. As with most things I purchase, I spent much time researching different scales on Amazon, looking at all the feedback to determine the positive and negative qualities that each scale possessed. I decided to go for this scale as it had a high rating and a reasonable price. Upon receiving the scale, I tested for accuracy by placing a nickel on the scale, and I got a reading of 5g (like it was supposed to be). I tested it a few more times for accuracy, and all times it read 5g except once when I was holding the scale, when it read 6g. Then I tested some exercise weights on the scale: 1 5lb and 1 6lb. Both weights were heavier than their claimed weight by a few onzes. I then decided to test a cup of water (that supposedly weighs 240g). I put a measuring cup on the scale, tare’d, and added water until the scale said 240g…at which point it was exactly one cup.

I decided to give a 4/5 review because of some mis-reads and the fact that it wouldn’t work in my drawer; I needed to take it out and put it on the counter, however, that aside, it seems like a very accurate product. Maybe after a few months of use I will reassess and give it 5/5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersThis little scale is amazing. I was pleasantly surprised to see how compact and attractive it is. Even so, the platform is large enough to weigh many things directly. Because of the oversized platform it is easy to place a plate or bowl on it before turning it on and have it start at 0 so you can weigh less than an additional ounce of food without dirtying the scale. The read-out protrudes enough to make it easy to work with. With the 11 lb capacity, being able to place a relatively heavy dish or bowl on the scale before weighing the contents is also a plus. The only reason I give it only 4 stars is that the read-out is not back-lit, but 98% of the time that is not a problem. I use it four or five times a day and still have a little thrill of appreciaton each time I do.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI recently started baking bread and found better consistency when I weighed my ingredients rather than measuring them via volume. I bought this scale for this very purpose, and I’m glad to say it’s fulfilled all its needs.

    Pros:

    * Simple controls: A single ‘Unit’ button to cycle through grams, pounds, fl oz’s. On/Off tare’s the scale, and turns the unit on.

    * Oversized weighing platform. Measures 6 inches in diameter, allowing me to put large bowls as containers to weigh ingredients.

    * Portable. The unit is powered by a single CR2032 lithium battery (watch style) and can be moved anywhere in my kitchen

    * Fast response. Get an accurate reading within a second, with little fluctuations.

    Cons:

    * Storage. I wish the company had provided a small enclosure/case for this scale as storing it is a little difficult (you certainly don’t want to store it with stuff stacking on top of the scale as it would likely throw off the calibration).

    * Cleaning: The buttons will likely get jammed with dough/etc if you don’t make sure your hands are clean when you operate this scale. Packaging tape over the entire panel would circumvent this problem.

    * Cleaning: I would have liked a removable weighing platform for cleaning .

    * Not that I reach 11lbs very often, but an on scale ‘scale’ which shows bars indicating how close you are to the upper limit of the scale would be nice.

Overall a great scale and I hope to use it for a long time.
