I wasn’t sure on buying this as the reviews were bad, but tired it anyways I’m
Glad I did. It works great. Guessing people aren’t using it properly. I have my tumble dryer in a cupboard in my hall no windows in my hall. Close dry great and no condensation at all. I fill mine up with cold water and change the water when needed. At first I had folded a dish cloth over one side of the vent using it like that for months then took it off and it works the same. Great for the price. Would recommend it.
Arrived in good time fits and works well couldn’t be bette
Using this with some water in the bottom and some Ice cubes in it really works. Still left with a little condensation on the windows however it’s reduced the amount by a good 90% and my windows weren’t dripping and the room doesn’t feel damp
I was sceptical at first but for a tenner wort a shot
Works great no steamed windows or wet work tops and no need to have the door open for the pipe in winter
So good item . Decent price and I don’t have to buy a condenser dryer now
Not bad at all. Didn’t use the hose supplied as box fitted mine. No condensation in my kitchen and it’s a cold day for the first use. Very happy for the money.
This is advertised as a universal indoor condenser for all dryers and is featured on the same page as the Montpellier tumble dryer. I had just purchased the Montpellier dryer and thought it would be a good idea to order this not realising that the Montpellier dryer has a unique fitting for the flexible hose which is not interchangeable with the hose for the condenser. I have managed to use the existing hose but this does not make the best of connections with the condenser which works after a fashion. I wouldn’t recommend this condenser to use with the Montpellier dryer.
I was sceptical and struggled at first with connection to tumble dryer but once fitted it’s ace. You need a good 1-2 inches of water inside the box to really see it in action but now it’s working, I tumble dry towels with ease and no condensatio
Works as described but keep your old tube fittings as the universal fittings are not universal. Had to use old fitting for back of tumble dryer as one supplied was too big.
I’ve only used it once, it seems to be okay. Still a little steam on windows but I was cooking on the hob at same time so could’ve been a bit of both
We have a hose dryer and did not want to purchase a condenser so found this natty piece of kit and decided to give it a go. I am glad i did, it and will come in so handy for when the weather turns colder and am unable to dry outdoors. It has also saved us having to cut a monstrous hole in our utility to provide a space for our hose.
Does cause a bit of dust but what dryer doesn’t and for the handiness of dry clothes it’s worth i
Does the job, does make the room quite hot in a heatwave but it stops the windows from steaming up, I found in the heatwave to keep it working well I put ice inside it and that made it work better.
It does exactly what it says on the tin (box in this case) simple to set up. We have a front vent tumbler, which until recently was in the kitchen, vented via a king tube, out of the window. This has been moved to another room, now a utility, so rather than by a new tumbler. We simply adapted this unit, to the existing machine. Despite my concerns, this does not fill your room or rooms with condensation. All the water is captured in the tank, you do get some residual smell, coming off the clothing, only to be expected. The room is warmer than normal, from the vent, however we haven’t noticed any condensation, and we have been using it for some while now. There are ways to make your own device, given the price of this unit, I wouldn’t bother, recommended.
