Philips 7-in-1 All-in-One Trimmer, Series 3000 Grooming Kit
Philips 7-in-1 All-in-One Trimmer, Series 3000 Grooming Kit for Beard & Hair with 7 Attachments, Including Nose Trimmer, Self-Sharpening Blades, UK 3-Pin Plug-MG3720/35,Black
I put off replacing a very old Philips beard trimmer with a dead battery to be green. But this is a delight. Small, light, good shave, good attachments, and the battery seems to last at least a few shaves. The only slight downside is that hair accumulates under the cutter head, instead of externally, but it’s very easy to clean out. Recommended.
Very good quality product. Light, powerful and looks like the battery last for a long time.
Solid enough as you are expecting from a Philips product with a lot of extras.
I would have expected a better way to indicate the battery level but on the other hand, the price is very low for what the pack is offering you.
Recommend it for sure!!!
For the money, it’s good value as it does give a good shave, and that’s what it is designed for after all!!
However, a few annoying things are the on/off switch is REALLY stiff and hard to use (it may just be my device) and changing the heads from shaver to say ear/nose trimmer and vice-versa is also fiddly.
This is the second time I bought this set after the battery of my previous set gave up after about 8 years. I love it. The trimmer is good at what it does – it does not give the closeness of a sharp razor but gets close enough. As a clumsy person I also like that it is just a single blade – those razors with the three spinning blades are often tricky to clean and maintain and are often a bit difficult to target.
I’ve been using a Philips “One Touch” razor, for beard trimming for a few years and although the blades last a long time, they are expensive to replace, so I did a bit of research for a replacement, that would do the job and wasn’t too expensive and eventually settled on the Philips 7-in-1 All-in-One Trimmer, Series 3000.
I didn’t need one for hair cutting, as I already have a decent, reliable Remmington Clipper, for that.
It’s a very basic trimmer, but after a few tries, getting used to it, I’ve found that it does the job brilliantly and much better than the “One Touch,” which, I never felt gave me an even trim.
The 3000 most definitely does. I’m really pleased with the results.
It’s easy to handle, light and ergonomic, cutting easily with surprisingly few “passes” needed.
I only use one comb/attachment, all over, so it’s all pretty simple and basic, but I love it.
It took me a while to get used to attaching the comb, and disassembling it for cleaning, but I got used to that very quickly!
It’s a bit of an irritant having to remember to charge it for 16 hours (why?) but, as I only trim the beard once a week, I find that one charge lasts easily for 3 cuts. I want to try for 4, but am worried that it’ll run out of steam half way through the cut and I’ll end up having to wait for 16 hours to finish the job!
Some people have complained about the power button being “stiff,” mine was, at first, but it’s eased up a bit, but I quite like the fact that it’s not possible to accidentally switch it on.
My one regret is that it doesn’t come with a “detailing” tool for tidying up areas on the cheek, around the lips and chin and the neckline.
Using it “naked” with no comb/attachment is oK, for those purposes, but it still feels like it hasn’t really got close enough to the skin.
If it were possible to buy a detailing tool, I’d be interested in doing so, otherwise, I may have to upgrade.
That said, this has been a worthwhile investment and I’d recommend it, if all a person wants is a basic trimmer!
A little early to rate the battery but I’ve used it three times to maintain a full (fat) face beard trimmed to 0.9cm and there is no stutter or slowdown in the blades as yet so all things looking good.
It is light and very easy to move around to get to the right angle for the planes of your face.
Easy to use and clean, my only worry is the attachments are plastic and feel quite fragile. If they break then this becomes useless for what I use it for. Have yet to see if you can get replacements from Phillips.
Seems ok I’ve used it three times now and still enough battery for another one I would have thought cuts nice and evenly quite fast yes it’s a little bit noisy but you get what you pay for word perfectly hope this helps.
i hate the vibration on this thing but it does the job and is a great product. I paid for the product myself so not sponsored like most other comments that I saw. Small and good battery life so far. if it disappoints later I will edit this
Haven’t tried many which are terrible this one is great for beard trimming and the battery charge lasts a long time!
battery charge long lasting. different clip on length guards give a perfectly even trim.

Needed to charge after most uses but a great product for the price.
This was a present and they were pleased with the performance

Like the brand, easy to use and clean.
If I was being picky, the attachments could be better marked up for size.
The on /of switch Is a little difficult to locate and operate when using a mirror with moist hands.

Great shaver, happy with the variety of heads however trying to change the main blade to put on the nose hair trimmer is a bit tricky
Very good overall though
