Philips Sonicare Original W2 Optimal White Standard Sonic
Philips Sonicare Original W2 Optimal White Standard Sonic Toothbrush Heads – 8 Pack in White (Model HX6068/12)
Brush head replacements
Brush heads become less effective after 3 months of use, but with BrushSync you’ll be reminded before this happens. Your smart toothbrush will track how often and how hard you brush, and will notify you when it’s time for a replacement. Don’t have a smart Philips Sonicare toothbrush? Monitor your blue bristles, and when they turn white you’ll know it’s time for a change.
Brushing with peace of mind
All Philips Sonicare brush heads are safe and gentle on teeth and gums. During tests, each brush head is put through its paces to ensure durability and an exceptional performance every time you brush.
Philips Sonicare technology
Philips Sonicare’s advanced sonic technology pulses water between teeth, and its brush strokes break up plaque and sweep it away for an exceptional daily clean.
Easy to click-on
Your W2 Optimal White brush head fits perfectly with any Philips Sonicare toothbrush handle, except Philips One and Essence. Simply click on and off for easy replacement and cleaning.

Got these after I purchased cheap alternatives. Don’t do it, false economy. These do exactly what they are meant to do and fit properly. They don’t come off in your mouth either, whilst brushing. Better if you get them on offer.
I was scared by other reviews, however I got exactly what I ordered- genuine Philips toothbrush heads. I don’t think these helped whiten my teeth, but otherwise they’re very good.
These toothbrush heads are consumables for our household. Have tried to use other cheaper versions but in the end return to the original. Perfect fit on the toothbrush, longevity is higher, bristles are softer.
Will continue repurchasing.
My wife and I are long term users of Sonicare toothbrushes and the dentist isn’t dissapointed.
Although at first, the genuine brush heads appear expensive, you do get what you pay for and they give a much better clean and last longer than copies (which we have tried but moved back to the originals).
Philips don’t manufacture the Diamond Clean Head anymore. This Optimal White/W2 is the new replacement brush head. The numbers the same as the old Diamond Clean – HX6068 ( for an 8 pack), HX6062 ( for a 2 pack).
I would recommend only buying from Amazon themselves and not a marketplace seller.
To the eye they look the same as the old Diamond Clean. However, the clean is slightly softer and the bristles seem more flimsy hence 4 stars. If you want replacement Diamond Clean these are the only option. You could of course pick a different brush head in the Philips range as they all fit the standard Sonicare handles. Excellent price on Amazon. Much cheaper buying the 8 pack.
These are the official replacement toothbrush heads (with covers) for my Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4300 Electric Toothbrush, which is why I purchased them.
The heads last 3 months as advertised. This is based on the brush being used twice a day, if you brush more frequently then this will be earlier.
I do also receive some free products from Amazon for review, which is why I have also tested another brand of compatible brush heads which were much cheaper. They did do the job, but the fit wasn’t precise, they were a little tight, they were also slightly shorter in length.
So, if you are on a budget there are alternatives, but if you want the best performance, from your electric toothbrush that you have spent a fair amount of money on, then stick to the Philips.
I’ve bought other Philips toothbrush heads for my Diamond Sonicare brush, but in my opinion this is the best head for overall cleaning, whitening and to keep plaque away. I’m 50, have never had a filling, don’t get plaque build up and have used Philips Sonicare toothbrushes and brush heads for years. It’s a worthwhile investment for sure. Don’t get lured into the cheaper, oral b rotating brushes. They’re not a patch on these! I bought the oral b for my kids in July and will be replacing them this Xmas with the Philips Sonicare range again. Been there, learned that lesson the hard way. Philips Sonicare toothbrushes and heads are the way to go if oral hygiene and long term dental health is a priority for you. Saves you a fortune by not having to visit the dentist too!
Brought 8 at once. Good price for me. The product fits my Philips electronic brush and can work as the original brush tip. But yes as other reviews said that the brush mode would not automatically change into ‘white’ mode when using this tip. A bit worried about it’s genuineness.
The sonic toothbrush head are great. They do a great job of leaving your teeth feeling clean. They do last for some time. But they are very expensive indeed. But sometimes you cannot put a price on dental health.
I have been using various Philips Sonicare toothbrushes for years and have always been pleased with the performance of the toothbrush and the toothbrush heads, but I find that the heads need changing more often than 3 months, their recommendation. Therefore I do not find them value for money or rate them for longevity.
Best toothbrush heads on the market! Sonic toothbrushes are the best, none of the electric toothbrushes compares to the Sonic ones! I have my own Sonic toothbrush already 7 years and it’s still going. I know they look expensive, but it’s worth it. Once you buy it you will no longer want to use any other toothbrushes.
