Although it wasn’t bought as a toy originally, its been used constantly since Christmas, so the durability of the cardboard “backdrop Farm” is wearing a bit, but its been a most loved item of play. Would buy another of the choices.
The shop you build is a little flimsy but it will hold for the Xmas period. My daughter has enjoyed opening her calender to a new playmobil item everyday. Some require stickers that will need adults help.
I’ve had a quick look inside the box, obviously it’s not ment to be open for a few more days. Everything is there by the looks of it. Delivery was very fast came inside a box so if kids were about they had no idea what it was. Arrived a good 5 days sooner then it said. Thank you it’s here for the Christmas countdown.
This advent calendar was such a wonderful find! A little pricier than some others out there, but sooo worth the price! The figures and little toys are so well-made and sturdy! My 3yo loves it, that will be a toy to keep for years to come! This was my first time buying Playmobil and I am truly impressed.
Really impressed with the advent calendar and the scene created from the box. My grandson had the play mobile pirate ship for Christmas and the advent calendar has added some lovely extra pieces to go with the ship.
This is a wonderful calendar, I bought 2 different ones for my girls ages 6 & 8and although it’s much more pricey than a chocolate calendar they have had such a lot of play out if these already, brilliant value for money as the sets have loads of animals, people and accessories. I would definitely recommend.
I actually purchased this for my 2 year old daughter. So far she is loving the little figures and surprises. A bargain at the price. These figure will be played with for years to come.
Got this for my son and wow I’m so glad I did he absolutely loves it, every morning it’s the first thing he asks for. It’s building into a lovely little farm, definitely recommend, even got him a little set to add onto it Xmas day
I know were only on day 6 of the advent calendar but good on you playmobil.
Comes with a cardboard island and loads of bits, bobs and characters.
For 4yo son has been playing with this daily and is so excited for the next day.
More expensive than chocolate but worth every single penny.
Daughter is very pleased with this. just a note; the doors are not very tight, so i almost opened door 24, just taking the outer sleeve off the calendar.
The cardboard scene you can use is a nice touch
Great product, and the kids loved opening it up each day……..but what the blazes farm animals have to do wqith Christmas is anyone’s guess? Bought it as it was the only advent calendar I could get in time.
My daughter loved this set, it was on offer at the time of purchase so was an amazing deal. Opening one part of the set every day was a really good distraction on the build up to Christmas Day.
A great way to build up to Christmas given the lock down situation. My little boy loved it and couldn’t wait to open everyday. He was so excited even when the things inside were very basic, he was elated when he came across the bigger figures. Highly recommend
great advent lovley items to make a farm cut out on back bought for smaller children some very small parts so not for to young sturdy items good quality expensive but bought on offe
My son is 5 and as an alternative to chocolate advent this year, we got this. So pleased with the quality of the pieces. It makes a wonderful winter display including a Santa figure. I will definitely get another similar next year.
I bought this advent calendar for my 5 year old granddaughter. It’s been a great success for her and she is really enjoying opening it and creating her grotto. Good quality too so well worth the money.
I was fortunate enough to buy on Black Friday so I did get it over half price, but after paying 25 for elf on the shelf advent I would have been more than thrilled at this product at full price or more.

Recently I looked at the price for the two cows with velvety fur that are included in the set to but as a Spare Part and they cost about seven or eight pounds. I did a rough count of the cost of the animals alone and it came to around 15, then add the other acessories, 3 people, tractor etc. I paid just over 9 for the set.
I had looked to buy this for this years Advent Calender but found the Christmas Ball on offer so bought that, then a few days ago I found this set on offer – too good to pass up, especially when the recipient loves animals.
As they have just received a couple of playmobil sets for their birthday and will receive quite a few for Christmas this will be put aside for another time, maybe Easter or my magic cupboard (a place where I keep a few gifts for times where little ones are under the weather and need a cheeing up).
I have checked out all the pieces and put together the bits that need assembling so when opened it can be played with straight away. It has lots of tiny pieces, three mice and 6 chickens plus lots of other items and no stickes or great assembly, have to say I somethimes dread assembly of Playmobil and have not bought some sets due to the assembly it needs.
If I had been looking to buy this at full price I a not sure I would have paid 20, if I did I would not have paid more, as Playmobil, Amazon and other sellers often have offers it pays to check prices (especially whe the Playmobil often have offers or Bundle Deals).
Anyhow this review is. We love Playmobil. It’s robust and possibilities are endless with the amount of sets that are out. This calender is absolutely amazing, like all the other playmobil calanders. My daughter asks for a different one every year (she’s 7). Perfect calanders for older kids for sure because they do have a few smaller bits in. I just love how well thought out it is. With the whole cardboard background so your child can really use their imagination. We put all our calanders together (the fairy one, Santa’s grotto etc) and they are all played with as one big story.

Excellent product. My daughter loves it. She’s had a playmobil advent calendar before and they are great value for money. The product was delayed but the supplier were excellent is sorting it out for me.
My son loved this! Lots of farm animals and chicken , very cute chicken coop , little tractor was a big hit and plenty characters. Playmobil farm fans will love this as it can be added to the bigger farm sets. Great value , great quality , highly recommended
We bought a different Playmobil calendar last year and were pleased with all the extra pieces to add to existing sets. So we bought this for our young son to open and get a nice mix of extra pieces – we wanted more men, dragon and wolf.
Christmas build up calendar for 7 year old grandson. We all enjoyed it! Great idea. Would go for a Playmobil nativity one this year if I found one. I’m sure they’re out there if i look. Definitely one above the normal advent calendar and one that is forever there to play with in future. All interactive with any Playmobil we already have. Loved it (and so did my grandson)!
Once it’s all opened up this is a nice set and has good play value. Some days I did think it was a bit dull. For example there is a really big door my son was so excited about and then it was a tree! But overall it’s nice collecting up the animals.
The windows are a little fiddly for little fingers so we had to help her get each thing out. This is a good thing really as it means we knew what she was getting and could explain it to her.
Overall it makes an exciting playful alternative to chocolate calendars which I don’t really agree with. Having a new toy every day definitely helped my daughter begin to understand time, waiting, patience and the ideas behind advent calendars.
She still plays with the toys, not just as a scene but individually too.
And they can all be added to bigger sets.
Bought this for my 20month old granddaughter for my house. She loves it , enjoys taking the pieces out then putting them back in again. Really likes the figures. I would have given it a 5 but the only problem is some of the pieces are hard to remove from the spaces….
My 2 year old likes it and I use it as a motivation for her to do her chores (don’t judge!). I don’t think it’s only for 1-1,5. Toddles will like it too! Gave 4 stars and not 5 only for a 2 week delivery.
I have bought these as early Christmas presents for my great niece and nephew for the last few years. They love playmobil and these are really a lovely way to count down to Christmas and also something to add to their collection. Yes they are plastic but I know they will be played with for years to come and passed onto the next generation. Only reason it is not 5 stars is that the outside packaging for the gift was damaged and as it was a gift I was disappointed. Didn’t return due to the complicated time consuming process. It won’t affect my nephew’s enjoyment but was disappointed.
