This is definitely blackout curtains . Not a hint of light,excellent. The white pair I bought were a clean crisp white. Quite thick as well. Recommended !
I bought the PONY DANCE Energy Efficient Blackout Curtains a month ago, and I’m really happy with them. They’ve helped to reduce noise levels in my bedroom by up to 7dB-10db, and they also block out the sun so that I can sleep in late on weekends. I would definitely recommend these curtains to anyone who is looking for a way to improve their sleep quality.
These curtains feel very luxurious and have a nice weight to them. The blackout quality is excellent and there is also some noise reduction from the traffic hum. Going to buy some more my son’s room now.
Curtains are very nice and the blackout the light quite well, only downside is the colour, I expected them to be less yellow
These curtains are so worth the money they are so soft and total blackout they are beautiful up and I will be buying more
Love these , i wanted a blank looking canvas for our bedroom tv to stand out , blocks the outside light out great in the mornings
All in all I am happy with these. They have a black lining which does make the white look slightly grey but they still look really nice. Pic 1 is how dark it is at 9am on a sunny day. Light does shine through the top, sides and bottom of curtains Pic 2 but I think the only way around that is to put a roller blind inside the window. Thick material but hang nice.
These curtains are so good I never needed to buy a blind for my sons bedroom because they keep out all the light, actually so good and makes the room so dark he can’t find the light switches, will be buying more for other rooms as they are a really reasonable price

We bought many curtains for bedroom but any of them wasn’t good enough to do this kind of blackout, especially when we went for lighter colour. This white is like light gray (which i like more than proper white) and still provides strong blackout not like other light coloured curtains.
Bought these for my sons bedroom hoping to block out some of the early sun.
They are great. Now his room is pitch black when the curtains are closed so he isn’t waking up early due to the sunrising.
I will be replacing the curtains in our other rooms when I’ve redecorated
Great curtains , very solid. I had to return because the grey colour was more brownish and it didn’t fit with my furniture. If there was a lighter shade of grey – I would definitely reorde
I bought this for my patio door. It’s light enough to go on a pole. It blocks out the light and my kitchen feels a lot warmer. Great value for money.
I wasn’t certain if I was to get these curtains. But after I read the comments and looking at photos that has been pose by customers I made a decision to purchase it. I am so happy I did. Theses certain are hanging beautiful at my windows. I will be purchasing more. I would definitely recommend.
These are thick heavy curtains. I have big drafty windows, and my room is hard to heat. These have already made a big difference in keeping the heat in my room. I’m over the moon. I’ve even managed to keep the heating off longer. Well worth the money. Excellent quality that is making a noticeable difference.
I’m not sure if it deadens noise too, as we’ve become used to the sound of cars and a train that passes nearby, but we’re sleeping well, so I think they’re even reducing those noises too.
My main reason for replacing my old curtains was to cut out the light that they let into the room. Despite being black, the material was flimsy and light came through them, even on a dull day. Based on the reviews on here I decided to give them a try and I’m so pleased I did! The material is soft, smooth and feels like good quality. Even though they are a light colour, (beige), I tried the ‘mobile phone torch’ test on them. The torch on a mobile phone is extremely bright and when placed behind the curtain there is not a speck of light at all that shows through! The material is nice and of a thickness and weight that I’m sure keeps the cold out, but being what I’d class as lightweight at the same time. When drawn during the day the room is very dark and would definitely be suitable for anyone working nights and needing to sleep during the day. I can’t comment on sound reduction as I live away from any roads and traffic. Similarly, I can’t comment on whether they keep heat out on a hot, sunny day as we haven’t had any since I bought them but this is another feature I’m looking for. I’ll update this review if and when we get some sun! Overall I’m really happy with these curtains and highly recommend them. They are fantastic value for money and I would have happily paid more for them if I’d seen them before I bought them. Inexpensive but far from ‘cheap’! They get 5 stars from me!!
