Being realistic this battery won’t last forever. But it has restored my vacuum and didn’t cost a lot.
I’ll re review if it doesn’t last as long as I’d expec
This battery has, so far, proved excellent. Lasts long enough to vacuum my whole (small) flat and furniture. Given my Dyson V7 a whole knew lease of life.
I was really happy when receiving my battery as I thought I’d managed to save some money.
I use it once a month in the bedrooms and landing but back in November it was no longer covering one of the bedrooms, let alone all three of them. Now it is virtually completely dead and a few days out of warranty.
Very disappointed .
Worked better than the original branded one but unfortunately only for one month then just stopped working
However the company were very prompt to replace the faulty batters with another one which works fine.
Very good customer care
Easy to install, 3 screws, fits nicely in the dock ,came with filter and a very handy safety knife with a brush on the end to clean the roller brush, i gave the device a good clean and replaced the filter left it to charge fully, and upon using, it was very satisfied. It felt as new, if not better!
After contacting Dyson and confirming issue was battery failure, I checked online reviews to see if ageneric battery would be a suitable alternative. Very happy with this one, easy to swap, first full charge took a while and now it is charging perfectly and the power is as good if not better than original. Also comes with spare filters at no extra cost.
I bought this replacement battery for my Dyson VO5, so far everything ok not sure on battery life as only just used it, easy to fit if you watch YouTube.
Without meaning to sound glib it’s difficult to rave about a battery. It was as easy to fit as Dyson made their machine to be.
Not sure if it’s specific to this battery or maybe my other one has been on the way out for longer than I thought but this seemed more powerful.
Anyway it works and is great value. I’m not sure why you’d pay more for another brand.
Well what a great battery, my Dyson now works better than ever!! Very easy to remove old and fit this new one. Using a small screwdriver, three to remove in order to replace. Just get so much more power from this!!! Brilliant buy!!!!
Battery was easy to fit and works well, can’t comment on the battery life as we have only had it a few weeks , fingers crossed it will last longer than the one we bought from someone else before.
Had this for over a month now and no issues so far. This was easy to install and was ready to go immediately. The time to charge is good and the amount of time you get has been increased massively. Very pleased
Less than half the price of OEM battery. Arrived next day (Prime) Easy to fit. (there are YouTube videos to help if necessary). Vendor gets good reviews. Cannot comment on battery life, but will if it fails too soon! Original Dyson battery lasted 2 years 9 months.
A little tricky to make sure I was ordering the correct product so the 1st was returned. But this one fits perfectly and had given new life to my cleaner. Very happy
Replaced batt but ended up with about the same time before batt dies. And suppose to be double the batt.

A few days after this review was submitted, I was contacted by the seller. They then sent me a replacement, without me asking for it, so kudos to them. The replacement battery was then fully charged and tried out. I found the new battery much better and now I’m totally happy. Reviews do work, and the company responded admirally. I can now recommend this battery and seller.
Purchased as a replacement battery for my Dyson V7 motorhead vacuum cleaner. It’s now like a new cleaner. Much more powerful and with an excellent run time, even on boost setting. Highly recommended.
This worked better than the original to start with but after only a few months of occasional use it didn’t last long enough to be useful. On writing this in a review the company contacted me and sent me a replacement battery or offered me my money back as they said my battery was within its warranty period. They have extended the warranty on this battery so even if the new one doesn’t hold its charge in a few months time it will still be worth more than the original Dyson one, with better power and now guaranteed longevity.
I suspect they had some slightly faulty batteries which they are trying to recall if they fail because they couldn’t afford to do this level of service if all the batteries were a problem.
I suggest that they are well worth trying in this case.
I purchased my battery before cleaning the motor stick.
But so far battery itself is good and seems to last longer than original dyson battery
Update – the company sent a new battery through and so far so good. Will update to 5 stars if it lasts longer than 6 months.
Really easy to install and the vacuum worked great until the battery stopped holding charge after 6 months. Now it barely runs for a couple of minutes after a charge. Supposedly there’s a “12-month product quality service” but this doesn’t seem to count as any sort of warranty. Trying to find help or contact details takes me round in a loop of help pages.
Not worth the effort.
