Been using the battery for some time now, so feel I can give a good product use review, battery life is much improved, even I’m surprised by the run time compared to the original battery, worth buying.
Being realistic this battery won’t last forever. But it has restored my vacuum and didn’t cost a lot.
I’ll re review if it doesn’t last as long as I’d expec
This battery has, so far, proved excellent. Lasts long enough to vacuum my whole (small) flat and furniture. Given my Dyson V7 a whole knew lease of life.
I was really happy when receiving my battery as I thought I’d managed to save some money.
I use it once a month in the bedrooms and landing but back in November it was no longer covering one of the bedrooms, let alone all three of them. Now it is virtually completely dead and a few days out of warranty.
Very disappointed .
Easy to install, but broke after 15 months. Vendor offered a free replacement after my initial review. Good follow-up customer service.
Worked better than the original branded one but unfortunately only for one month then just stopped working
However the company were very prompt to replace the faulty batters with another one which works fine.

Easy to install, 3 screws, fits nicely in the dock ,came with filter and a very handy safety knife with a brush on the end to clean the roller brush, i gave the device a good clean and replaced the filter left it to charge fully, and upon using, it was very satisfied. It felt as new, if not better!
The battery was easy to install, however the battery life is not great. Charging the battery for over an hour only covers half of the room and then the hoover dies.
Thank you for getting back to me regarding my issue. After getting a replacement battery, the battery lasted longer than the previous one that I got.
After contacting Dyson and confirming issue was battery failure, I checked online reviews to see if ageneric battery would be a suitable alternative. Very happy with this one, easy to swap, first full charge took a while and now it is charging perfectly and the power is as good if not better than original. Also comes with spare filters at no extra cost.
I bought this replacement battery for my Dyson VO5, so far everything ok not sure on battery life as only just used it, easy to fit if you watch YouTube.
Without meaning to sound glib it’s difficult to rave about a battery. It was as easy to fit as Dyson made their machine to be.
Not sure if it’s specific to this battery or maybe my other one has been on the way out for longer than I thought but this seemed more powerful.
Anyway it works and is great value. I’m not sure why you’d pay more for another brand.
Battery was easy to fit and works well, can’t comment on the battery life as we have only had it a few weeks , fingers crossed it will last longer than the one we bought from someone else before.
Replaced my old Dyson battery which lasted about 1 minute before stopping even after a full charge. This one lasts about 5 minutes max. Others have said it lasts 20 to 25 minutes, which sounds like complete nonsense
Update. I was contacted directly by the seller and they immediately sent me a replacement battery as they said my original may be faulty ( offered my refund as an alternative) top notch service, so I have updated my rating accordingly.
Replaced batt but ended up with about the same time before batt dies. And suppose to be double the batt.

A few days after this review was submitted, I was contacted by the seller. They then sent me a replacement, without me asking for it, so kudos to them. The replacement battery was then fully charged and tried out. I found the new battery much better and now I’m totally happy. Reviews do work, and the company responded admirally. I can now recommend this battery and seller.
Installation of this replacement battery was easy and took three minutes. The vacuum cleaner now works perfectly, especially on the high power setting. Battery life is better than with the standard battery. Time will tell how long the battery lasts.
Although the original item only lasted 4 months, the customer service and attention we received replacing the item was quite exceptional. As soon as we reported that it was defective, we were offered a replacement very promptly and quite easily. In fact, the customer service team contacted us again to make sure that the replacement was working correctly and offered another replacement if it was not. Really outstanding!
I am a novice at electrical things but I received the battery and spare filters quickly then I went on You Tube and a gentleman described what you had to do and it was up and running straight away.

I wrote a previous review saying the battery didn’t last as long as I’d expect. And within a few days customer service had emailed me, they decided to send a replacement. They then emailed me to check it was working and we’re so helpful. What a fantastic ethos for a company to have. This battery deserves a chance! For the price of this in comparison to dyson batteries it’s certainly worth giving a go. And any issues and it seems the company are more then happy to resolve.
Dyson V7 lost power after hardly any use. I worked out it was the battery, but Dyson were out of stock. This was half the price, came with 2 spare filters and as long as you can use a screwdriver is dead simple to install. The vacuum now works better than before and considering my wife was about to order a new Shark this has saved us more than a hundred pounds. How could it have been better? The only thing missing was the option to recycle the old battery.
Easy to install and seems to work OK but only had it for 3 weeks so can’t comment on battery life or how long or it will last, hence giving it only 4 stars.
Screw out the old, clip in the new, screw it back in. I hate doing stuff like that, so if I can do it you certainly can. If not, then hand the job to your 10 year old 🙂 It needed charging up for about 90 minutes. I tried it without charging but it was just cutting out. My Dyson V7 is alive again, it’s a resurrection miracle! Can’t comment on battery life. I’ll let you know next year if I need another miracle.
Our 3 yr old Dyson cordless vacuum kept loosing battery life and would eventually last for only 20 seconds. Bought this battery, easy to fit and vacuum back to its new working time.
This worked better than the original to start with but after only a few months of occasional use it didn’t last long enough to be useful. On writing this in a review the company contacted me and sent me a replacement battery or offered me my money back as they said my battery was within its warranty period. They have extended the warranty on this battery so even if the new one doesn’t hold its charge in a few months time it will still be worth more than the original Dyson one, with better power and now guaranteed longevity.
I suspect they had some slightly faulty batteries which they are trying to recall if they fail because they couldn’t afford to do this level of service if all the batteries were a problem.
I suggest that they are well worth trying in this case.
The battery in my dyson wouldn’t charge fully. I did have cover but ran out a couple of months ago. So purchased a new one . Not a dyson battery ,too expensive, prompt delivery,easy to fit,used twice now everything seems ok. Charging up fine ,hopefully will last for 2 yrs at least.
I purchased my battery before cleaning the motor stick.
But so far battery itself is good and seems to last longer than original dyson battery
After dropping my Dyson Hoover I thought I’d have to purchase a complete replacement as it would no longer recharge. Having Googled the possible problem, and as a last ditch option before ‘biting the bullet’ of purchasing a new vacuum cleaner, I purchased the cheaper option of a replacement battery. Luckily, it worked! It’s a slightly different shade of grey to the original version but I can live with that.
Update – the company sent a new battery through and so far so good. Will update to 5 stars if it lasts longer than 6 months.
Really easy to install and the vacuum worked great until the battery stopped holding charge after 6 months. Now it barely runs for a couple of minutes after a charge. Supposedly there’s a “12-month product quality service” but this doesn’t seem to count as any sort of warranty. Trying to find help or contact details takes me round in a loop of help pages.
Not worth the effort.
