You can not buy these in a chemist but Amazon sells anything. Good quality bandages but security pins weak but overall one can use a safety pin. Good Quality for the price.
I can’t move my legs due to my health problems, so wearing compression socks is a difficult process for me. The compression bandages help a bit, without the bending and twisting.
It is hard to find these bandages. I bought them to use as comfort wraps for dogs (a Tellington T Touch technique) which they are perfect for. But I have also cut them up and used them as wrist supports. The little hooks which come with them to hold them together are great.
Could’t find these easily on the high street so turned to Amazon and got what I wanted the next day. They are great although the easy to use clips can be uncomfortable and don’t last very long.
Great bandages and clips. Suppotive and clips keep it supported. Following a fall i managed to fracture my ankle, spain my other ankle and dislocate one knee. These bandaged were easy to apply and gave support as i was recovering. Would definitely recommend.
It has been a while since I have been searching for light compression bandages, and here they are. I was surprised of speed of delivery, as I only ordered them day before(quite late in day I must say) for them to show up on my doorstep next day. Upon opening I found small pack full of little fastening things, and all three choices are really good. Not sure how some of the fasteners would go down with people, but I found them really handy. Only minus, that the biggest one wasn’t big enough for my knee and kept rolling down(my thighs are rather chunky), but I am not holding this against the product itself, as it does what it needs to everywhere else.
I have had a groin strain since February and not been able to run or walk to far. I had tried every support bandage brace you could imagine. This was my last choice. My god it should have been the first choice. I have manged to hike miles in the lake district the last 12 days with daily use if these bandages. It has also helped me get back to running. Cannot praise this enough and what a fantastic price. Do not hesitate amazing.
I bought this pack of compression bandages after my cast came off from break my arm.
I started to get a lot of pain where its still healing and from the arm being stiff.
These bandages really help for keeping on for short periods.
Can be fiddly doing it on your own but it’s a good bandage.
As the headline, Its a great general purpose elastic bandage but The clips while they do the job are very sharp and its easy to catch yourself when placing the clip.
Super comfy, easy to roll up to reuse, easy to wrap an injured ankle like I needed to – definitely gave me enough support to walk better (at least I wasn’t hobbling around straining my good ankle) and get to and from uni with the tube’s steps and walking around, definitely helped a bunch. Also my bandage clips were working fine and the bandage quality is good enough that the tiny holes the clips make went away in the wash. Super impressed honestly.
A stretchy support bandage, comfortable to wear all night (or all day). I’ve used these items on my wrists for my combined carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis. I have found that they alleviate the aches that I have and that, by putting it on before I take part in activities that usually set the aches off (eg a couple of hours of photography with my heavy DSLR, a long drive etc) the aches are prevented. Unlike some other reviewers I’ve had no issues with the elasticated clips; they work fine for me.
I really like these bandages, they’re soft to the touch but with good stretch. I bought them for compression and they work very well. My issue is with the clips (I’m not the first to mention this), I don’t believe this is a problem with this brand it’s just the way these clips in general are made. The soft metal prongs will eventually, no matter what stretch you put on them, open out. You can very easily flatten them again but they will snap off at some point, I haven’t actually had any snap so far. When they do, I will buy a box of them as replacements (you can get them quite cheaply). The extra clips included are different and absolutely awful. Made from very hard plastic and quite vicious, I would say to anyone with loss of sensation, do not use as the sharp prongs pass through the bandage and could pierce your skin, potentially causing a whole lot of trouble.
The bandages are very well made with very tidy ends. They are not too long so easy to manage and re-roll after use. I personally changed to old-fashioned safety pins rather than the stretchy clips provided (purely personal choice). The stretchiness is good – enough to apply positive pressure where needed.
This form asked me to include how I used them – I have swollen ankles that return to normal overnight. I have found bandaging them first thing in the morning keeps them slimmer and once I get moving properly, I take them off.
Really supportive and comfortable found the clips attacked my fingers when using them but appreciate they are the best method of securing the support bandages. Would have like a bit more length on each bandage so that there were more layers and clips less likely to irritate.
They were great for not slipping when used on my knee other bandages such as crepe ones tend to slip down.
Our oldest daughter twisted her ankle resulting in a weeklong limp. Various GP’s were hard to get hold of and inconclusive in their treatment advice.
In the meantime she was ‘suffering’ although at times only. So I ordered her a reappliccable bandage to keep to keep it warm and some pressure on. She was delighted with the process of putting the bandage on and the little clasps that hold it. Which seemed to ease her condition. What even helped more was the positive attention she received at school wearing the bandage, which looks somewhat dramatic. Thus after a few more days the injury sorted itself.
Its a good investment. Our children and my wife have bruises and arm, joint ache a couple if times a year this complete set of bandages might at the minimum show that dad cares and it might actually provide some comfort.
At first I was a bit disappointed by the size of the rolls. But their are each of suitable length. And the quality seems high. So they can be used over and over again.
