De juiste maten en degelijke houder zodat de beitels na gebruik niet kunnen beschadigen. Beitels waren heel scherp en direct bruikbaar zonder te beginnen slijpen. Perfect om te doen waar ik ze voor gekocht had !
Bonne qualit pour une utilisation occasionnel, ce qui est mon cas. Fait le job, utilis sur des bois tendre, je ne peux donc pas juger sur d’autres essences de bois, ni sur la qualit sur du long terme du fil
Took my time to explore the world of chisels and based on the work I am doing ie hanging doors and correcting poorly fitting kitchen cupboards, worktops etc decided that this 6 chisel + bag set was for me. Arrived early and nicely presented this Presch set of Chisels are faultless . All the chisels are true and razor Sharpe with absolutely no burrs whatsoever so no need for any extra attention at this stage. All tools are a personal choice or at least should be and I find the weight and balance to be perfect for me, they feel really comfortable in my hands. They look great too which doesn’t hurt and I’ve no doubt they will last as its got it written all over them. As for the bag, yes it’s basic but it does hold them all in place no matter how much I tried jiggling it about to make them fall out . Great value 5 stars all the way.
This is a super set of chisels in a handy roll. They work fine straight out of the roll. Much recommended.
Great set of chilsels came sharp for instant use have no complaints at all .
These chisels seem to be holding up well when used on just wood. We use them for notching timber and they give a nice clean cut.
Time will tell on how they hold up, will update at 6 month mark (only had them a month or so)
Nur noch ein bisschen poliert und die Stechbeitel gehen wunderbar durch Fettleder, ohne dass man einen Hammer braucht. Ich benutze sie, um Schlitze in Fettlederleinen zu machen. Mit Holz habe ich es nicht getestet. Scharf sind sie aber. Wenn man sie sehr scharf haben mchte, muss man nachschrfen, das finde ich aber in dieser Preisklasse vllig in Ordnung.
well made but not sharp elementary thing to expect with wood chisels
This 4 piece chisel set is fab.
We are currently renovating a summer house and the garden – so these have come at the perfect time.
These are not cheap and nasty, this is a quality, well made chisel set.
They are sharp and chisel thru wood no problems straight from the box.
Comes with a handy roll bag to keep them together when not in use too.
Would deffo recommend if u want a decent chisel set, this will last forever.
They are well-made and have a good range of various chisel sets with bevel edges. The size is just right, with a storage pouch to store them securely. The grip is non-slip and comfy and has a metal cap in the back, so the mallet does not easily damage it. I am not a professional, but it’s great for my small DIY job around the house, creates nice clean chops and is an excellent addition to my toolbox.

Der Schliff muss nach den Kauf zwar ausgebessert werden, da der Grad nicht 100% perfekt ist, aber fr das kleine Geld sollte man sich nicht darber beschweren!
Die Stecheisen kommen in einer Aufbewahrungsrolle” die sehr praktisch und gut verarbeitet ist.

I’m not a carpenter or even very good at woodworking, but I do occasionally need chisels to fit a lock to a door or something similar. For my purposes these are ideal. A good range of sizes, very sharp, comfortable to use and they come in a decent case that keeps them together and protected from other tools. Excellent.

Ho preso questo set di scalpelli diverse settimane fa e devo ammettere che mi piacciono molto e mi trovo molto bene.
Precisamente il sette che ho scelto composto da quattro scalpelli, ognuno dei quali a una filatura con angolo di 25, con diverse misure: infatti misurano 6 mm, 12 mm, 18 mm e 24 mm di larghezza, mentre tutti i singoli Scarpelli sul 26 cm di lunghezza.
Di questo sette mi piace molto la qualit costruttiva e dei materiali che compongono i singoli scalpelli, infatti la struttura in metallo in acciaio e questo conferisce solidit e robustezza, mentre il manico in gomma che rende lo scalpello sicuro nel suo utilizzo e solido tra le mani.
In generale trovo questo set di scalpelli decisamente benfatto e molto comodi nell’utilizzo quotidiano sia dal punto di vista professionale che dal punto di vista strettamente amatoriale.
Per quanto riguarda invece il rapporto qualit prezzo avviso questo risulta essere decisamente buono considerando la qualit dei singoli capelli sia nei materiali che nella costruzione.

I have had a set of 3x Stanley chisels for years and they have always performed well despite having been sharpened so many times they are a few mms shorter than they used to be. These chisels seem to perform much the same. They had a reasonable edge on them, I think they could be a little sharper. Maybe I am being a little unfair as I have honed my old chisels to a slightly steeper angle to these. To be fair, they did cut clean on hard and softwood, but I felt that I was having to use a harder knock than I normally would, which you may need to be careful of if making precision cuts. I guess in time I will take these down to a steeper angle as I have a jig set up for it.
The end caps are metal which I have mixed feelings over as I am not sure if over time this with damage the mallet surface, but I guess it is only used for woodworking, so I shouldn’t be too concerned. Overall, it is a good quality set for the price and the 4 sizes (6, 12, 18,24mm) are probably all the sizes you will ever need for most DIY jobs.
This is a superb value set and came very well packaged and is super quality .

I absolutely love Presch tools. They never disappoint in any respect. These wood chisels are no exception. The four piece set features sizes of 6, 12, 18 and 24mm. The perfect range of sizes most DIYers would use. The chisels are ready for work straight out of the box. The handles are comfortable to grip and hold. The ends of the chisels have a robust metal strike plate fitted. This particular set arrives with a tool roll. This can be hung if required. Meaning the chisels aren’t rattling around your tool box.

I have had various items from this manufacturer and found them to be good value, well manufactured and reliable tools.
The chisels come with a good edge out of the box: a fabric tool roll is supplied.
The chisels have a comfort grip, non-slip, and an impact cap.
Of course you can find cheaper, but you get what you pay for and this set priced at 25.59 at time of review offers something that will last for a reasonable price. 5 stars.
It is good for DIY around the house, cutting out slot of hinges and fitting door lock and wall plates. It is ok sharp out of the box but definitely room for improvement.
The shaft seems strong and won’t bend under pressure, striking with mullet at the end plate feels nicely connected and excellent control. The soft rubber grip really helps with the control needed when shaving off thin layer of timber.
Usually good chisel of this standard would cost the whole set just to buy just one size.
My old chisels had become a little aged and were both blunt and had slightly damaged heads. These were a great set for replacement and my old set has been recycled to a local organisation who do gardens, fences etc. Good value and overall very pleased. You can buy confidently

As I have quite a few wooden window frames to make this year, this set of wood chisels will come in very handy indeed. There are 4 chisels supplied inside a tough box, inside the box is a well made and strong looking holdall bag which contains all 4 chisels. The chisels each have a plastic cover over the blade tips to prevent cuts to fingers, or damage to the blade.
The first thing that I’d like to say is that these appear to be high quality chisels that are very sharp on arrival. Often with tools like this I have to re-sharpen them to get a good edge, but not so with these, they are very sharp out of the box.
I am very pleased with these as they are heavy and appear well made, a heavy chisel is a good sign that quality metal has been used in their construction. The handles are ergonomically shaped to fit the hand, they even have depressed areas where the fingers sit. What I particularly like is that the steel goes right through the handle ending in a metal impact point on top. This means that the chisels can be struck with a hammer without fear of damage, although personally I only ever use a wooden mallet.
Overall this is a handy set to have, all of the popular sizes are covered, but if like me you have a use for the larger size chisels then a pack of 6 chisels is also available. It is worth noting that the edges of the chisels are also quite sharp, I did cut my finger on the side of a similar chisel a few months ago, but that’s an easy fix with a bit of emery cloth.

Incredible quality for the price and really sharp. Makes woodwork really easy and enjoyable.
The material is really good and strong. There’s no way you can bend/damage them while working on hardwood even if you use a hammer. Very easy to work with even with one hand and medium pressure (as you can see in the video). Comes in a nice soft case and plastic covers for the edges. 100% recommended and a very good price for what you get.
This chisel set from Presch is a great little starter set for anyone getting into woodwork, it comes with 4 of the more commonly used sizes so should suit most people’s requirements. Each chisel comes with a plastic tip protector to keep the cutting edge sharp and they come ready to cut with a very decent edge on them, they made very clean cuts in the test wood I used, Norwegian spruce battens, and handled well in use, easy to hold and the metal hammer through endcaps allow easy working with a mallet. The tool roll does a good job of keeping them together and protected when not in use and looks well made.
These would be ideal for anyone starting out in woodwork, reasonably low price combined with a decent enough performance for hobbyist woodworking rather than shelling out for top end chisels from the outset, these do a good enough job for the price.
Il materiale e’ solido, sia per quanto riguarda la lama che il manico: e’ in gomma piuttosto morbida ma robusta, con un ottimo grip. So che molti preferiscono il legno ma oggettivamente la gomma e’ piu’ confortevole, soprattutto se usiamo lo scalpello insieme al mazzuolo.
La lama tuttavia e’ molto lontana da quella di un utensile professionale. Ha evidenti segni di lavorazione (vedere foto) e se volete lucidare anche solo i primi centimetri della suola vi aspetta non poco lavoro.
L’affilatura di fabbrica e’ piuttosto grossolana: vedete in foto alcuni trucioli prodotti, ma va detto che in molti casi e’ stato necessario un movimento ondulatorio per “sbloccare” la lama dalle fibre.
In buona sostanza: si possono portare ad un buon livello, con tanta pazienza e le opportune pietre per affilatura. Per come arrivano, sono adatti a lavori di sgrosso (es. creare una mortasa) ma non certo di finitura (es. portare a livello una spina, “ripulire” un angolo, ecc).
Il prezzo, come dicevo, e’ nella media degli scalpelli hobbistici: tenete presente che gli scalpelli realmente professionali costano almeno 4-5 volte tanto.
Avendone provato diversi nel corso degli anni mi sento di dire che la qualita’ dei Presch e’ comunque leggermente superiore alla media del settore hobbistico, quindi il rapporto qualita’ / prezzo rimane conveniente.
Assegno quindi un punteggio a 4 stelle, che riflette queste considerazioni ma anche il fatto che per portarli al massimo delle potenzialita’ occorre spendere parecchio tempo in una prima fase di messa a punto.
