Realy nice design only drawback is the wires haven’t got anywhere to go so have to place them next to or on top.
Realy nice design and compact.
An overall very good quality item and leaves everything neat and tidy. I highly recommend it!
This is a great product. The use of magnets to charge the controllers makes it quick and easy to dock them and reduces the risk of damage to the USBC connection. Not to mention freeing up some of the USB ports on the PlayStation as well.
My only issue (and it is a minor one) is that the headset rests nicely at the front but the head band does not reach the little cut-out section at the back of the stand, clearly designed to accommodate the back of the headset. This means the headset sits a little less steadily on the stand. It works fine but may just a bit of an odd fit.
Worth it for the controller charging and battery indicators alone.
Just a nice low docking station slots in under the TV cabinet, the magnetic charging plugged in no problems great value, great delivery
I had other charging stations and they were nowhere near as compact, and would often only charge one controller, or none at all, even when they were down to one bar of battery.
This one however works perfectly. It’s easy to seat the controllers (unlike the official charger) and looks really flash. Highly recommend.
Only improvement would be the ability to turn off the blue lights on the front so they don’t light up the room when not using it. Just have them switch off when full charge is achieved or something. I don’t want to have to go round the back of the TV and turn it off at the plug.
his item is alot better than the original sony charger lets you know when charging more clearly and also stores the equipment in one place and the price makes it a bargai
Excellent stand charge controller’s and fit’s inside my tv unit. Had is now a few months and never had a problem with it keeps everything tidy.
Easy to set up and looks very neat and tidy
Looks smart, charges your controllers and holds the headset firmly. Lights are red when charging and blue when charged. Would take this over any other version I’ve see
The experience is fantastic as long as you don’t use it for too long. I have found Horizon call if the joint Ian easier on the motion sickness then games like Star Wars, which I can only sit through about 15 minutes before getting motion sickness.
This is a must-have accessory for any PSVR2 enthusiast. It keeps my VR headset organised, acts as a convenient charging station for my controllers, and adds a touch of sophistication to my gaming setup.
This is just great. The headset sits nicely on its stand. The controllers just pop into place and start charging. The magnetic USB-C adapters for them are clever and work well. No complaints.
Solid sturdy quality, looks good & Includes power supply.
Much better for those long sessions in VR, take a break as sony recommends and just sit the controllers on the station for a quick charge, you’ll be back in VR in no time
Incredibly happy with this item. Very well made & feels robust. Love that it can charge both sense controllers & keep my headset stored safely with a low profile.
Couple this with a separately purchased lens cover & I can relax knowing it’s going to stay in great condition.
I ordered the official Sense Controller Charging station at the same time as my PSVR2. The charging station looks great but it’s fiddly to seat the controllers in the the correct position. Also the magnetic USB connectors shipped with the charger aren’t very magnetic so they don’t help much when seating the controllers.
I already owned the Collective Minds charging station/stand for the original PSVR so I decided to buy their latest offering for the PSVR2. I have been using it for a week or two. I’m very pleased with it. It’s easier to seat the controllers for charging. This is helped by a sensible design and stronger magnets on the usb connectors. There are red/blue charging status lights for each controller whereas the official charger had no lights at all. Finally, the headset seats nicely on the stand so it’s not sitting on a random box on the floor of my study anymore. Definitely worth 31.
Works well and looks good. Would have liked a slightly steadier fit for the actual HMD but it’s good enough.
So far so good for this accessory. Really impressed with the build quality. It’s the ideal storage & charging companion for the PSVR2. Good strong magnets make the controllers simple to dock and charge, and the headset sits neatly on top. Lighting to the front indicates charge status. No complaints at all, and much cheaper than the official charging station with the added benefit of headset storage too. Nice..
A very neat unit, 2 magnetic usb c plugs are supplied which fit into the controllers which can then be charged in their storage positions on the unit without cables, the plugs remain in situ whilst in use so no wear and tear on the controller charging sockets. Two lights on the front indicate charging or charged. The headset simply rests over the top and front of the unit as a storage/display stand. Only had it six weeks but no issues with it so far. Would recommend.
Was waiting for a decent storage / charging solution and the PSVR2 and it’s controllers.
This is perfect, it’s low profile and the controllers snap easily into place with the supplied magnetic usb-c adaptors.
Would definitely recommend.
My PSVR2 controllers were temperamental in whether or not they would charge from a USB socket. They charge perfectly with this dock, the light’s on the dock come on to indicate whether they’re charging or not which is a relief when you’ve dealt with cable charged controllers being as depleted as you left them last night.
I bought this dock as it has a low profile, it’s very compact and fits the headset in the drawer that I need it to.
I don’t normally review stuff. However, I was worried after I ordered the charger it would be cheap and a knock off. I was so wrong. It looks great, does the job better than the official charging station and has a place to put the vr. I carnt believe it was made so fast from psvr2 release date. Just buy it you won’t regret it.
I saw a review on here that stated the headset doesn’t fit on the stand correctly. The instructions state to move the eye piece on the headset fully out to put it on the stand. It sits on the stand perfectly after doing this. The controllers connect straight to the magnets without any fiddling. Over all a great stand.
Compared to official charging station for Sense controllers this one has much much stronger magnets and controllers are placed easily on their place and they are holding firm. Like the big LED’s in front indicating charging status. Headset itself looks good on the stand and it is placed easily there. Stand itself stands firmly and not moving on the desk.
Only 2 downsides i can think of is that headset is not 100% stable on the stand, it moves slightly, but nothing to be concerned about. Second thing is relatively short cable for included AC adaptor.
All in all this is the currently best charging station and stand for PSVR2 and I recommend it.
Very happy with the product, has magnetic wireless charging with an included USB C power adaptor. Stand presents the PS VR 2 in a compact and organised way. Styling is in line with the PS5 aesthetic and plastic material seems of good quality. Definitely recommend for the price as at the time it was cheaper than the official PS VR 2 controller stand and charger.
This is a great charging station for the psvr2 controllers . It comes with 2 strong USB magnets and the controllers fit snug in the station and the headset on top. Also the station does not slid around aswell thanks to the rubber underneath. I heard the official sense charging station has weak magnets and can be a bit finicky to get the controllers in and is more expensive. This is a great product.
They have maximised the space of the headset sitting on top of the controllers to get it in the absolute minimum space possible. The profile is really low (lower than the surround speaker it is next to).
Controllers pop into the magnetised connector points really easily. It just uses UBC-C to charge so I’m able to use the USB-C port on the back of a hard drive and not need an AC adaptor at all for it. This is rated at 7.5W which is lower than the 10.8W of the included charger but charges absolutely fine albeit slightly slower.
Cannot fault it and also looks really good.
First of all feels very premium product despite the packaging looking very generic.
The plastic is sturdy feeling and is a very similar matter white to that of the psvr2 and the sense controllers with a black plastics accent so compliments the headset well aesthetically.
Fast charging capable for the sense controllers the magnetic charging is also nice and strong so very accurate and reliable docking.
Nice and compact design, the letdown however is the headset showcase aspect, the headset doesn’t sit securely and donts actually fit in the stand full when placed on the stand the band tensioner know looks as though its ment to sit in the back cup but it does not is too far back and if you place the headset in it will just slide back down away from it.
But all thing considered would appear to be one of the best options currently available.
Love the style looks cool with the lights on if your into RGB of course. Doesn’t look out of place. Charges the PSVR2 controllers quick. I actually bought the official charging Dock for controllers and sent it back when I seen this. Don’t regret it one bit..
If your worried about dust getting on lenses just buy rubber lens protecter! super happy with this product thanks
I initially got a little panic on when I thought the sense controllers needed to be plugged in each time. However this is not the case. The small USB C connectors are magnetised so just plug them in to the controllers and they will attach to the charging point with great ease. The indicator in the front shows the charging status for each controller so you know when both are ready and the best thing, it looks great.
