Overall it’s a fantastic little cooker and great if you don’t have much space in the kitchen as you can just put it away in a cupboard when not in use.
There isnt a price for this at the time of reviewing unfortunately but having tried it a few times I’m quite impressed. I use this in my converted garden shed that we now use as a home bar and relaxing room since the pandemic. I wanted this for cooking snacks on whilst out these like burgers etc. now be warned it is really small so you would only use this for one or two people but it’s really easy to use and set up and its really not bad to clean. Cleaning puts me off using things like this but I have found this easy to clean.
I have never used an induction cooker before and it has been a revelation. It is so fast.
It is large enough to take a 20cm saucepan comfortably but you must make sure that the pan is compatible with induction heating.
It is easy to clean.
In this time of energy inflation, this is a really useful tool.
I haven’t used the timer yet.

It seems to be really good quality and you have only one knob to control it.
You get a really nice tailor-made non-stick coated grill plate with cover ,which makes everything easier and you cook.
You can remove the plate and use the induction cooker with any pans that work on induction hobs.
The cooker has 10 power levels and it is 2100W on level 10.
The grill plate does a great job and it is really good that you can cover the food while you cook so you don’t get that much mess around the cooker.
The price of this induction cooker is 119.98 ,which is great for what you get.

This is a fully loaded single hot plate induction cooker. It can also be used for grilling. The build quality is solid.
Since this is a single plate, I personally prefer to use it during travel as I like to cook my own food. It is compact and comes with a plate so I don’t need to carry a lot of utensils with me. Since it is a 2100-Watt machine, you should ensure that you have the right socket for this cooker. It is slightly heavy to carry though.
It doesn’t take up a lot of space so it easily gets accommodated on the kitchen top. It is a good cooker for a single person or small family. If you prefer a one-pot meal like me, then this is an excellent induction cooker.
A single knob can be used for both power and timer. You can set the timer from 1 minute for up to 8 hours. It’s quick and easy to clean this induction cooker.
Overall, I would recommend the cooker for people who travel alone or for smaller families.
We already have a large five ring induction hob so we already knew what to expect from induction cooking however this has surpassed my expectations by miles, it works absolutely brilliantly for grilling, frying, boiling and anything else that would normally be done on a hob.
On opening, this device comes as the mains powered induction unit, a griddle type of dished plate and a lid. Everything looks to be well made and works simply by plugging it in to a standard 13 amp socket.
The actual induction unit as with any other induction hob will only work with induction friendly pans, therefore the pans need to be made with steel or iron on the bases. The included pan is very versatile and along with the lid we have used this for nearly all of our frying and grilling since we received it, leaving our large hob pretty much unused.
This heats up extremely quickly to whatever power level it is set to and is ready to cook on within seconds. Once the cooking has finished the pan and lid are easily cleaned in the dishwasher although my wife prefers to hand wash them and rinse just incase they were to rust in the dishwasher. The actual hob just requires a quick wipe over and it’s ready for the next use.
Although this comes with a very useful pan and lid, the hob can be used with any other induction friendly saucepan or skillet in just the same way, we have used a small and large saucepan on this for boiling and it still heats up very quickly.
A great thing about induction hobs is that if the pan is removed the power will switch instantly to standby therefore saving energy, also when turning the power up or down the effect is instant more like cooking on a gas hob rather than electric but with the added benefit of it being easy to keep clean.

The main thing to be aware of with this “Rasonic Portable Compact Induction Cooker” is its “Single” size, which really only makes it suitable for one or two people, but quite useful if you have a relatively small kitchen. Other than that, the product appears to be good quality, it’s simple to use, and reasonably easy to clean. Being compact, it’s versatile enough to use outdoors, but bear in mind that it is rated up to 2100W, so make sure you use a suitably rated extension cable with a correctly fused plug if you plan on using it that way. The only downside is the rather ambiguous manufacturer guarantee, which is surprisingly only valid for 6 Months, as opposed to the generic 12 month guarantee with all other electrical products available.
With a 3 hours round trip to get to work I recently decided to rent a single room in a shared house for the 3 days I need to be in the office. But occasionally feel a bit too tired & antisocial 🙂 to get to the kitchen when everyone is there and did not want to have gas or traditional electric stoves in the room.
This cooker allows me to cook simple things or re-heat meals that I have made in advance safely and comfortably.
The built quality is really good and I love the grill plate included since spacious and ideal for many dishes.

This is a really good indoor induction job that comes with a grill plate and a lid. It’s great for Korean BBQ on the table or for just keeping the steaks warm before everyone gathers at the table.
The hob comes very well packaged and has a 6 months warranty. It looks super stylish and feels like a very good quality materials have been used to make it.
I’ve made pancakes for my family this morning and I could make 4 pancakes at a time. They came our PEEEEERFECT!
The playe is also awesome for grilling veggies and corn or seafood.
Or sausages and scrambled eggs on the same plate for breakfast. Really it’s very versatile.
The grill comes with just 1 knob and 10 levels pf heat. It will take a little time to get a hang of all the temperature levels until you find out the perfect timing for different foods.

This is a sleek looking induction cooker which looks tidy when left out on my kitchen worktop. Unlike most others, it is supplied with a grill plate and a lid.
I have been wanting to change my gas hob for an induction hob for years, but now that I have this I’ll be able to do most of my one pot / one pan cooking and heating up on this and hopefully save a bit on the bills!
I will be taking it away when we go to stay in hotels too as my child struggles with hotel food so I can quickly make pancakes or heat some beans up!

It is so easy to use with one knob which has 10 temperature settings from 50’c to 220’c. It has a safety shut off if the button or the dual is not used for 2 hours. It also has a timer function of up to 8 hours.
The grill plate and the lid are easy to clean.

Brilliant piece of kit! Has lots of variety with this one. Best thing is it comes with a lid which gives it lots of variety when using it! So simple to use as you just control the temperature and that’s it!

Excellent hot plate that cooked my steak to perfection. The hot plate lid is good at holding in steam so it made it great for steaming some gooey cheese on top of my burgers. It’s not too big but it’s not too small either so I was able to cook a whole fry up breakfast on it with ease.
A very versatile induction cooker that will cook most meals that comes with a great hot plate. Simple and hassle free to clean too. Great product.
This is quite a good induction cooker with a few different functions really. Especially if you have limited space in the kitchen. So you can use it really in two ways as a simple induction hub boil water, make soup etc. Or once you put a grill plate as a grill. Which is quite a nice little addition to have. We tried to do a little BBQ on it and it was quite a success.
Using it is quite simple. As it really has just one knob to adjust temperature levels and what’s about all. Of course, there will be a bit of a learning curve for choosing temperatures etc but after a few times and a few burned pieces of meat, you will get a hang of it.
I really like induction hobs because they are very fast to heat up. As well you get a lid for a Grill plate to avoid some splashes of oil etc around the hob itself. Cleaning is very easy for the hob itself and the grill plate.
Overall its a really good compact induction cooker. Will be perfect for smaller kitchens, Or when want to have a little Sunday afternoon Korean bbq. However, just 6 months warranty for the price feels a bit off as it rises questions about of quality of it. It should be at least 12 months.
This induction cooker is an absolute beast, it it very very well made and comes with a rubber footed cooking plate.
When using this with my induction frying pan I was able to heat it up super quickly and the magnetic field was helping holding the frying pan in place.
When removing the frying pan within second the surface was cold again, this is coming camping with me with electric hook up as it is so much safer than a gas stove.
If you need a small but solid cooker, maybe for home or away then this is well worth it.
A must-have kitchen gadget especially if you often cook for one or two. The instructions are clear and the cooker’s really easy to operate, though admittedly it did take me quite a bit of fiddling around to figure out how to use properly.
Build quality is excellent. It’s very well-made and such a convenient size for easy use and storage. Hardly occupies any space on the kitchen counter but generous enough heating zone to accommodate large family-sized pans. The grill plate is heavy and durable, and the lid is made out of a fairly lightweight metal that makes it easy to lift and set down. The plate is also removable and the non-stick finish makes it a breeze to clean. The lid is one of the biggest highlights as it helps trap heat and cook faster.
There are air vents on the side but the cooker’s still very quiet to operate compared to a traditional oven. It’s no louder than a handheld fan really. I’ve noticed it does make an intermittent buzzing sound when cooking, but even that is quite faint.
The main reason I love this is that the wattage is adjustable. My ceramic kitchen hob has small 1200W zones larger 1800W zones and are non-adjustable. As I normally only cook for one or two people at a time, I can adjust this to work at 900W or less for simple meals which works out much, much cheaper. It heats up instantly and evenly and levels 2 or 3 are good enough for cooking the most delicious breakfast eggs. This goes all the way up to level 10 (2100W).
Another nifty feature is that even if the cooker’s plugged in and switched on, it won’t actually turn “on” until there’s something on the plate. Also note that this is an induction hob, so it’s only compatible with induction pots or pans (other than the included grill plate).
The cable is thick, as expected for such a hot plate, and has a rubbery outer material for added protection.
Overall very versatile and cost-effective. It certainly pays for itself after a couple of uses and I’m now finding that ever since it came I’m no longer using my main hob. I’d be happy to recommend.

Simple and compact, this cooker is a good addition to a kitchen. I’m always looking for better of making a grilled cheese sandwich and this is a very good way of doing it whilst also providing access to other methods of cooking. It doesn’t take up much space and a simple assembly means you can clean and pack it away easily as well.
Overall a lovely piece of kit.

Very simple controls on the face of it and a lid.
It’s certainly easy to use and to clean, but on my first try cooking sausages I burned them and got an error code. It seems the temperature settings and the displayed temperature probably aren’t correct as I tried to cook them on setting 5 with the lid on which should have been quite low temperature. Obviously there is a learning curve and I think with some practice and experience it will be a decent grill.
I thought this would be ideal to teach the young ones how to cook. Table top cooking for our dinner, throw some on top, get the kids to take if off when they think its cooked. done.
Well this is actually quite the part, instead of just being an induction hob, It’s got a nicely fitted removeable hot plate.
Feel and build is really good, well built and can see this lasting a long time.
Can’t complain about the setup. One plug, boom. turn knob to change the heat. boom.
As its induction, it heats up really quickly and is energy efficient.
Whilst we are using this for the glamour of tableside cooking, I think this would be grand for someone using it every day as a replacement for an inefficient ceramic electric cooker.
My wife and I love travelling a lot in our caravan and one of the things I had mentioned to my wife was that using the on-site electricity would be great for cooking as the gas is getting more expensive – and this works a treat.
At home, we already have an induction hob so we know how it works anyway and we have the correct pans etc.
This arrived well packaged to protect the items plus it came in a nicely designed box with good graphics and colours.
I could tell straight away that the materials used in making this little cooker were pretty good. It is easy to use (you simply plug it in and adjust the temperature) and cleaning was a synch too. It has 10 levels of temperature control and has a timer control – but I am not using that feature.
The only thing I would like to see is that Rasonic only gives a 6-month warranty – where I believe it should be the minimum of one year, however, I haven’t deducted a star because the details state “at least 6 months”.

My favourite thing about this hot plate cooker is the sheer speed that the temperature rises, and the easy temperature control. Less than 30 seconds after placing my raw chicken on the cold plate it was bubbling and cooking. The lid makes it very easy to trap moisture which stops anything drying out or baking on. The handle of the lid also did not get hot during the cooking process. An equally nice touch are the slightly raised sides, meaning its perfect for saucy recipes.
The cooking surface is a bit too small to use a standard sized spatula for cooking, so I’d suggest using a small pair of tongs or cutlery – the surface is scratch resistant, but I was still cautious suing anything sharp on it.
When clean and off it has a beautiful sleep black look to it.
Good value for money for sheer cooking speed alone and ease of use. Recommend.
This is absolutely brilliant! It comes well packaged in a nice box. It has clear instructions and is a nice looking grill plate.
I have to say, I absolutely love BBQ, but we seldom have one because my husband isn’t a fan. Besides, in truth, I always worry about things not being cooked correctly. This has knocked all those issues out of the park, and allows us to have the enjoyment of cooking and eating outside (amd inside) in a safe and clean way that suits us both.
The lid and the adjustable heat settings mean you can cook a variety of foods too! Plus it’s not too big, so won’t take up loads of storage space.
We’ve tried some bacon on it just for a practice, and it came out perfectly! Super happy with this item. Definitely 5 stars from me!

I think induction devices are brilliant and far more efficient than regular stove tops. These are FAR more power efficient.
When I saw this, I was super excited as I knew immediately I would use this for Korean bbq. Having experienced this in Asia, I couldnt wait to try it again. Meat sourced from my local Korean Shop, I cooked some marinated galbi (short ribs) , bulgogi (thin slices of beef) and my gosh, it was absolutely delicious. I served this with some boiled rice, seaweed and kimchi.
The cooker itself is brilliant, has 10 different heat settings and is so easy to use. Cleaning it was a breeze too, easy to wipe away the residue.
So pleased I can now have a barbeque feast on the dining table. It feels very special cooking food and eating it together with my loved ones.
It is really a good product. We used it for Korean BBQ. The non-stick surface is quite easy cleaning. I like the most is the cover lid. You can find many other brands cookers in the market but not like this with a lid, which can extend your cooking varieties.
