As a family it’s been easy to pick up how to play game and the bonus of harry potter ment all family members happy to play.
A great and simple family game. My daughter loved this Christmas gift.
At first I wasn’t sure about it, I thought it was a bit confusing but once you start playing it is such a good game. Really sturdy board and pieces, good quality and good family fun.
It’s good, and if you don’t know any better then you’ll be happy, however we have played the original and the quality is just a bit lower on this version. The pieces are just basic pawns and the overall feel of the game is just a step down from the original version.
This was a gift so don’t know if any good or no
Product very good grandchildren love it, only niggle it was not re boxed so left out side got slightly wet and labels could not be removed spoilt it as a gifted
Arrived in great time. Its a great game for children and adults. We have the original and this Harry Potter one now.
This was given as a Birthday Present and haven’t heard whether my Nephew’s son liked it or no
This is an awesome game! Great for two people to play as well as four. Very entertaining and doesn’t really get boring!
I bought it for my 6-year-old grandson. He liked it very much. He tells me he plays a lot with his brother.
Brilliant game for whole family. 5 and 7 year old can play. It’s challenging and exciting for adults too.
I bought this game to play it with my fiancee and I can say it’s perfect for a couple, one match lasts half hour, I bought the Harry potter edition for 2 pounds extra, it’s nice but the pictures on the board are a little small, I ordered at 9am and it arrived around 5pm the same day. I really suggest it.
I bought this for Christmas for my 9 year old. We are having lots of fun playing it. The pictures are a bit small though… my daughter has to help me find the people
I personally have not played this game. It was ordered on behalf of a relative. I can say it has been played several times since being passed on. I have to assume the fact that it has ‘surfaced’ several times it is both enjoyable and liked and therefore can be recommended.
I gave the game to my God daughter and her sister for Christmas (ages 6 & 10). Apparently it was a popular game with the girls, their thank you letter says “we have played it about eight times”
My friends and I have been playing this game for over a year now. We like various board games, but this one is always on our list of ones to play when we get together. It ony takes around 20 mins so not too commital. We have also played other versions which obviously are the same game, essentially. The Harry Potter version is definitely the nicest to look at, and we like the wooden counters.
We are fans of the book series, and we all agree that whoever made decisions about which characters to put in the game probably knew nothing about HP. Why choose Kingsley Shakelbolt? Where are Fred and George, Professor Flitwick, Professor Sprout, Bellatrix LeStrange? Other main characters are missing, but Luna is in it twice, why? Doesn’t seem to make much sense. Having said that, the pictures are arbitrary so it doesn’t affect the gameplay. We do, however, all agree that the pictures are a bit too intricate, Harry and Neville look the same unless you look really closely, and it can be hard to identify some of the other characters too. The pictures are much bigger and clearer in other version of the game.
All in all, a firm favourite of ours, and we have easily played it enough to have made it worth the initial investment.
Bought this for daughters Christmas, really good game! Little difficult for my youngest(6) but we helped her along, really gets their minds thinking! (And off their mind numbing tablets) would’ve gave it 5 but a bit annoying when the kids want to slide the cards along and they get stuck as their not perfectly aligned, apart from that a great game fir the family!
My family and I love this game!
Labyrinth is really fun and challenges your gaming strategies. We are all obsessed with HP so this makes it even better!
The loss of the star comes from the suggested age ratings (7-9). I think that youngsters would really struggle to get to grips with this kind of game as (to begin with especially) it is a bit complex. The difficulty of the labyrinth structure can also vary the time it takes to complete the game.
All in all, very pleased with the purchase!
