Used to move our virgin meida hub. The company would not supply us with a longer cable so we ordered this. It does the job and we didnt need to buy anything extra to do it. All round a good product for decent price.
I bought a 3M length initially to move my Virgin Media Tivo box. When it arrived (next day) I wondered if it would be any good for my virgin hub, so I could move that to another position (virgin cable so short leaving the splitter). I switched the cable on to the hub and gave it a go.
I was very surprised at the results, no drop in speed at all (600mb line), and online gaming was the same as if I was still using the Virgin cable.
Very pleased with the result, I ordered another 3m for my Tivo box.

Having found that lower quality cables are a Very Bad Thing if you want a strong and full bandwidth signal, I spent ages comparing brands to decide whether this would be good enough to replace a slightly too short but extremely high quality (same as used for feed to the house) RG6 provided by Virgin back at installation time. This is a little thinner and softer – less of the outer layer of armour against the outside world – but is maintaining the 200 Mbs I pay for, and appears excellent for the job. The old lead is now repurposed as an aerial connection. And I’m happy.
After putting up for months with poor picture quality on certain channels, and assuming their signal was the problem, I now have a brilliant clear picture on all channels thanks to swapping old cable for this one. Have a slightly longer cable than I needed as length I wanted was out of stock, and this cable seems stiffer than the old coaxial cables, but that is more than made up for by the quality of the picture. I now appreciate what HD really looks like too.
Virgin ask 99 for a home visit to ‘extend / relocate’ box. Not sure what calculations are used for this but, this was a simple; open box, open bag, attach female adapter, attach to Virgin plug, attach to box. Literally 5 mins (6 if you include me opening the front door). So, simple, cost effective and all channels working fine. Job done.
Our original order had a missing adapter so we contacted the seller. They promptly apologised and send us a replacement. Many thanks!
The product itself feels decent quality and works perfectly well
After many weeks of adjusting our old cable and connectors ordered this item. It arrived quickly and was up and running in 5 mins. The picture quality is so clear and crisp. I like that it is white cable and slimmer than previous one. Highly recommend.
It’s a straight forward cable. Connects easily both to the TV and the satellite signal ports on the wall. Picture and sound quality are both fine. I’ve not used the connection converters that come with it.
