The Remington F4 what a great shaver it is.
Easy to use,very easy to clean nothing falls off taking it apart ,a great easy way to charge and battery lasts a while when charged
I have always bought Remmington razors for many years as I have found them to be very reliable. This one is particularly pleasing, gives a good shave, smooth and quick.
hav’nt used a electric razor for years, spending a lot more time in hospital lately, thought I buy an electric razor for convenience, this Remington ticks all the boxes for me.
Shaves well compared with my old shaver.Easy to hold although the on/off button is a little stiff.Takes longer to charge than my previous Remington but that isn’t really an issue.
Generally very pleased.
The fact that the motor detects when the mechanism is gummed up and pulses the blades rather than the constant hum is a genius idea; when the razor is full to capacity with hair, even my father noticed that something was wrong with it (although he diagnosed it as completely broken because the motor was “playing up”).
Also, he’s had it a few weeks now, and it only ran flat the other day, again, reported as completely broken, but that was relatively easy to work out and charge it, and he’s back up and running once more.
If this razor can survive my father, it can’t be bad.
Great shaver. Lasts about 5 days without charging, trimmer could be a bit wider, much easier to clean, put a little mark on head for re-assembly. Gives a very close & smooth shave, but extremely dis-appointed the Shaver Foil has torn in 10 months only, actually nearly the same price for a replacement foil as to buy a new
equivalent Remington shaver. Foil not covered by it`s warranty!!
No adaptor is supplied, despite leaflet instructing to place shaver in adaptor in to charge.!!!
I returned 1st order because of this but found replacement the same.
Please inform Remington of this anomaly
Simple & straightforward to use, efficient & effective. Not sure how robust it is – a sense that when removing the shaving head to clean it, it seems a bit flimsy. Time will tell
Bought this as a replacement for husbands other shaver which gave up. He struggles with a lot of shavers, as they don’t give a decent shave, but he is very happy with this one.
I have had this one about a month now. The shaver seems a good design and quite well made. It has a good charge life of about 2 – 3 weeks. It is comfortable to use once you get used to it, and gives a good shave. There is a ‘three day growth’ fitting, but I do not use this accessory so cannot comment on this. The clipper on the side is a distance away from the shaving head but again it does the job when you get used to it.
Cleaning is okay, there is a brush provided but it can be washed in water. Follow the instructions on cleaning.
At first use I was very impressed with how this shaver gives a decent close shave. Well pleased.
(Edit: At about 1 yr and 10 months on, it doesn’t shave quite as well perhaps, but the main thing is it does not hold a charge for very long, just over a week of daily usage, then gives little warning it will stop working compared to when it was new. The charging time is very long (4-5hrs) compared to the usage time (maybe around an hour if you add all the shaves together).
