I ordered this as couldn’t quite justify the spend on a GHD and I wasn’t disappointed. The hydra-care function (check the instructions! Middl setting on the heat switch) is superb! I have long, fine hair but a lot of it so it gets knotty easily. This function makes all of my hair very smooth without much faff of holding a brush and drying it in sections etc. and it is very fast drying as well. I definitely recommend it.
It also has a high heat – high power option that dries your hair in minutes.

Overall it is a great product, quite big compared to my old boots brand tiny dryer, but with the power this one has, comes responsibility ( or a bit of weight and size increase in this case 😉 )

Needed a new hairdryer as the one I had was not good at all
Had a look at various ones and settled in this..
Used for the first time today and my hair was dry in 7 minutes. Not even on the hones
hotest setting! Choose rhe speed you want and the cool shot is good too.
Best hairdryer I’ve ever had

I needed a new hairdryer as my other one was packing up. My old hairdryer was also a Remington & had for many years but come across this hairdryer & saw the reviews so decided to get it.

This hairdryer is brilliant and powerful and I have really thick long hair & didn’t take long for me to dry my hair at all.

I do hair for friends and family and this is ideal. My previous hairdryer lasted 20 yrs so I’m hoping this will do the same. I bought a Toni & guy one b4 this and it lasted 6 months so not great . Would recommend this one

Like one of the other reviews said getting this hair dryer made me realise that my old one was over drying my hair massively. My hair feels so soft now – at first it felt a little greasy because my poor hair wasn’t used to so much moisture but after a couple of washes it got used to it. It’s not a lightweight hairdryer and is a little more difficult to hold than my old one because of that but it’s a million times better for my hair!

A nice hair dryer for its price. Performs very well, quite strong but it is a bit noisy on full power. Also a bit heavy and hard to store due to size.

Pros: this hair dryer is powerful and dries quickly. The Ionic feature does seem to work and helps give a smoother texture and sheen, control switches located centrally is useful (I returned another hair dryer which had them on the wrong side for me)
Cons: the power could be a negative for some; the highest heat setting runs very hot; it is quite a bulky hairdryer; it is heavy
Will keep just for the smoothing effect but it is heavier than I’d ideally like. Shop around for an ionic feature but a lighter weight hair dryer if you don’t like a them heavy!

I did have my doubts about whether this hairdryer would give effective results on my hair. However, I have been using it regularly for the past couple of months and my hair now feels softer to touch and smoother. I have found this particular hairdryer to be very helpful during the current lockdown with not being able to have the dry ends cut off my hair. When I put serum on my wet hair after washing and use this hairdryer I find that my fine, flyaway and kinky hair stays controllable for longer. This hairdryer is a sturdy construction and feels slightly heavier than some other hairdryers on the market.

I had my old hairdryer for years (16) but had to get a new one. The choice is bewildering now, decided to get one that was ionic, this narrowed things down slightly but still so many on the market and didn’t want to spend a fortune. This one is heavier than my old hairdryer but that was so basic and had a less powerful motor so is to be expected but it is not too heavy to use and I consider myself to not be that strong. It is very powerful, even on the lowest setting so can blow the hair around when you are trying to style it, but practice makes perfect. The design is simple, looks stylish and dries my hair much more quickly. I have noticed a little more shine to my hair and less static.

This blasts out plenty of hot air on the highest setting but has cool settings too if needed. the nozzle is perfect for delivering that stream of hot air so my hair was dried in no time. It’s a little longer than my last Big Shot drier but not difficult to handle and the nozzle turns so you can stream the air where you need it and still be comfortable holding the drier. No complaints, does it’s job very well.
