These are great easy to clean and last a while before replacement needed

This pump fits the same as my old pet safe drinkwell one but it’s not as good because there is no suckers on the bottom to keep it in place and the cable to the plug is very short so that is a bit annoying. Other than this it works fine and is my only replacement option online.
Fits my pet’s water fountain perfectly and is easy enough to open up to clean.

The new pump for the Catmate is working great. So hopefully will have another year or so with this pump.
I’ve only just started to use the pump, however it’s the same as the old pump, it works great, no noise and it’s clean.
My old pump was making such a loud noise and I really hadn’t looked after it so it was time for a new one.

I actually thought that I had replaced the last one sooner than this but the last one I got in May. So it lasted a good 7 months. I only use bottled water in my water fountain. It’s just a pain that these aren’t more long lasting considering all the waste. But it’s a great water fountain for my cats & they drink a lot of water.
The pump was purchased as replacement for one that after 3 to 4 years stopped working
Had no problem installing worked as soon as contact to the power supply
Not like the original that comes with the fountain but it does the job, rather than buying a new fountain.
It has less power and starts making sounds as soon as the level of water has gone below 2/3.
But overall, happy with the purchase. My Petsafe fountain has now a longer lifespan! =)
These are great as a replacement but after about two months they do break down slowly and I find myself constantly banging this on the floor in order to get the pump re-instated I’ve purchased about four in total maybe six and the same thing does happen I would kind of recommend at this price
I’m always worried about replacing things that came in the original unit but I shouldn’t have worried with this. Easy to unpack, prepare and install, this pump is better than my original as I can take it apart and clean it every month, which I couldn’t do before! We’re in month 3 and it’s as good as the day I installed it. So pleased. Throughly recommended!
Ordered for my friend who has the Cat Mate water filter cat dispenser thing whatever next, as she likes them to have clean filtered water in the house to drink why not, it’s a chalky water area. Anyway, the filter pump got really chalked up and although I cleaned it a couple of times, let’s just say my friend didn’t keep up the cleaning treatment, so the original pump died. This replacement pump fitted and worked and saved having to buy a whole new set again, grrrrreat! And the cats say meeooww!
I’m so glad I could purchase this water pump on its own rather than spend more money buying a whole new water fountain for my cats,so it was a relief. The water pump itself actually arrived very quickly in the post! so my cats can drink with ease, as the old water pump gave up and stopped working no matter how much i cleaned it. honestly I’m really happy with my purchase because it saved me money,and time so i didn’t have to go out to buy a new fountain so highly recommend it. Also if you pull apart the little side part you can have easy access to cleaning it,don’t wash it in washing up liquid because it is for cats to drink from after all, but try carbonated water mixed with white vinegar or lemon to deep clean and rinse well and dry naturally before attaching it back to the water fountain. hope that helps!
Way over priced – be aware that you need these pumps for petmate and drinkwell fountains as other pumps don’t always fit or work with them – and as the pumps in these fountains don’t last many months – at 10 a go to replace them, makes a 60-90 fountain a very expensive item in the first instance and then the expense replacement pumps on top which also don’t last – ummm think they need to sort out the main part to these fountains with something worth buying for a decent price rather than ripping people off – if I could send the drinkwell fountain back I really would but had it 4 months so can’t now
A genuine replacement, means no messing about with it not quite fitting as it should do that aftermarket options often have, and wasn’t too bad a price considering what some OEM parts can cost, so if your water stops flowing, this is most likely the part you need, but check the plug fuse first, if this doesn’t work then the only other thing would be the power pack.
Now if your unit hasn’t been running for a bit when you get this, make sure you have the filters soaked and ready, and make sure you run the unit after you have put it in a jug of water, just let it run in that for a few minutes, that way you would wash out any contaminants before using it in the bowl, but never run it unless it is underwater, or it will damage it in the worse case scenario, which is key in having it last as long as possible.
