Revlon RVHA6475UK Perfectionist 2-in-1 Drye

Step 1 – Getting started

Always towel-dry hair to remove excess water and detangle with a comb or brush.

Select the HIGH setting (II) for thick or coarse hair and the LOW setting (I) for fine or thin hair.

Step 2 – Start drying and styling

Starting with the bottom section of hair, place brush dryer over the hair and close to the roots. Run brush toward the ends. To prevent over-drying, do not concentrate the airflow on any one area for too long

Step 3 – Get the desired look

Repeat for the remaining sections until desired look is achieved. Lock in style with the Cool air setting.

    Great for 4c hair!
I also tried it on wigs and I can say that it is one of the best things I have bought.
It is so simple to use.
Not the easiest to clean so be patient with yourself when cleaning it.
It gets hair very straight and detangles it well.

I have 4c hair and this hairdresser is honestly pretty good and worth it. It does take some time to properly dry your hair and is better when done in smaller sections.

Really good, quick drying. It’s a bit cumbersome but because you don’t need a seperate brush too it’s actually so much easie

I have very thick hair that I’m dealing with by myself. When I saw this on a great discount, I thought I’ve nothing to lose so I got it. It amazed me how easy it was to use, it’s handle is not as big as they say, so you can grab it with ease . It’s a bit noisy though

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought this hair dryer with optimism, for use on 4c hair and was not disappointed. The wide paddle brush design coupled with the long handle is ideal for the drying process and the power is great. Hair can be parted or just dried whole and the results are impressive for natural hair. It really does stretch out those tight curls without feeling like you’re ‘cooking’ your hair. Worthwhile buy…

    Absolutely brilliant
Save me time and energy my daughter no longer crys when we comb her hair. She literally says, mummy, I can’t believe I’m not crying. So it’s worth the buy

I have very fine, thin, straight hair. I brush the tangles out with conditioner as part of the hair wash.

With a traditional hairdryer, I need to brush at the same time as using the hairdryer otherwise by hair gets flyaway and messy. However, I could never get the angles right between the brush and the hairdryer like they do so well in the salon.

I was looking for something to help me quickly dry my hair without creating a mess.

Mostly, this hair-drying brush does the job. I can now dry my hair and all the hair strands point in the same direction. For this I am very happy.

There are a few tweaks I would like to see, but nothing that would prevent me from buying again:

    – I have very little hair, even so, it takes a long time to get my hair dry (even though my hair is not heavy) – *it works best with towel dried hair*

    – it is quite heavy and the handle is cumbersome,

    – the warm air only comes through half the brush head,

    – the cool setting does not work after a warm/hot setting because the elements are still hot,

    – the heating elements are so close the the pad of the hairbrush that my hair touches them as I brush, so I am worried about scalding my hair and fingers,

    – the air intake is at the bottom of the handle, it can be tricky to keep my hair away from it.

Overall I am happy. It’s cheap and cheerful and does the job.

I bought this for my daughter (very long, thick hair) it’s a great tool and smooths without being poker straight. I’ve also got the big rounded/oval revlon brush that’s better for lifting and volumising my fine hair.

I purchased this dryer on a whim not really expecting too much. But it has completely changed my washing routine and halved the time. It is a bit heavy but since you don’t need to use it for too long it was okay for me.

I was gutted when my last fast dryer / styler broke, so looked online for a similar, more reasonably priced alternative. This product is as good as, if not better, than similar big brands on the market. I decided after receiving my last version as a gift, that I’d never be without a hair dryer / styler with attached brush, it makes life so much easier. When having thick hair like mine, this has been a good send. Love it!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersEarly days but this does seem a great way to achieve a ‘salon-lite’ style. For me it has already has solved the issues I have to get the back of my hair straight and controlled.
I did read it was maybe noisy but I hear no difference between this and my hairdryer, it is a bit bulky though but I imagine this will not be an issue with time. I do still need to finish off quickly with straighteners but for nowhere near as long as previously and the style is lasting a lot longer.
Delivered very quickly and at a great price.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersThe blow dryer reduced the time it takes to blow dry my hair by almost half. It takes about 25mins to do my own hair, The photo shows that there was minimal shedding.

I would recommend using the low setting first, then the high setting when the hair is about 70% dry.
It does make a lot of noise, but I don’t mind that too much because it doesn’t take so long to do.

I wouldn’t say it locks in moisture, so the hair does end up feeling brittle and dry, so I wouldn’t suggest using it on the regular. But a good weekly moisture treatment might be able to revert the effects. Really happy with this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the Hype!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersExcellent product! I have thick 4C hair and this product made blowdrying much quicker. My hair was much straighter than using the blow dryer with a paddle brush method! I would recommend this to anyone hoping to save time on wash day.

I purchased this style of hairdryer brush after using the other round, Revlon version which most rave about, for about a year. I moved and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of converters for a different style of plug. I decided to try this traditional flat brush version. The round version did work pretty well and cut down on drying time but after about a year the bristles started to break. I have very thick but fine-textured hair.

This version of dryer does cut down on my dry time. The bristles are a little longer it seems which makes it more challenging to reach my roots. This might be a non-issue if you are seeking root volume but as someone with big hair and most of my volume originating from my roots, I could benefit from something with shorter bristles. The handle is pretty bulky and wide, not the most ergonomical. The brush itself is very loud. The handle gets warm at the top of the brush. It does not fully straighten my hair dry, I have to follow up with a flat iron. I either let my hair air-dry, keep it wrapped in a t-shirt to reduce moisture or start with a regular hair dryer then use this second in the line up to save the most time.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersThe Revlon Hairbrush Dryer is a new concept in hair drying, moving away from gas filled brushes and standard hairdryers.

The hairdryer is a big paddle brush with holes that distribute the warm air.
The motor is at the bottom of the brush, meaning it is a little heavy but so far I’m managing O.K and I have arthritic hands and bad wrists (one of the reasons for purchasing).

It has 3 settings, a fixing style set and 2 heat options. I’m used to have speed settings too but this dryer works on a slow warm setting and a faster hot setting.

The one thing this means for me is it does to a little longer to dry my hair than my old hairdryer, however because I’m styling it as I go along I don’t need to use straighteners or brushes afterwards.

I should also note my hair is waist length so it’s never a quick process and I do think if you had shoulder length hair this would cut your drying and styling time down. Also I don’t like using the hottest settings on my hair, even if it is a quicker speed, this is only my preference and isn’t a reflection on the product.

I wouldn’t recommend this particular hair brush dryer for bobbed or short hair, the brush is big and styling a short haircut with it would be difficult, not impossible, but you’d probably get better results if it was a smaller brush.

I have no problems with frizz or static from this dryer which is good and you can put products on your hair to style at the same time, you just need to remember to clean the bristles of any residue after. I have found I don’t have to use my straighteners on the main part of my hair, it’s often just the ends that curl, whereas with a standard dryer, even blow drying didn’t get the kinks out.

I got this product whilst on offer, so for me it was a good deal and does help with my dexterity issues so I’m happy.
I would of been happier with a few more settings for speed and heat but that’s the compromise for having a smaller motor.

I hope you find my review useful, if you have any questions please leave them above and I’ll respond ASAP if Amazon forward it to me!!
