I am really pleased with this product I needed it for my kindle. The original charger I have had years but the lead was starting to split. This one fits perfectly

I bought this lead as a replacement as mine had split in several places. This lead does seem thicker and more sturdy than my original one. Charged my kindle perfectly. I would recommend this product.

After buying endless cables this one actually plugs in and charges paper white and kindle so a good buy as they were both going in bin if this one didn’t work

I purchased this because my other charging cable was really short and I had to leave my kindle in the floor. I have only used it once so can’t really comment on durability. However it does the job well and for the money I don’t really mind if it doesn’t last forever.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this as my original kindle usb charging cable would only charge when placed at certain angles. I used it for both my kindle white & fire. Both were taking hours to charge and weren’t holding the charge for long. Since using this cable the batteries are like new. I had been getting ready to buy a new kindle they were that bad. I’m so glad I tried this first, definitely worth it.

The cable is slightly thicker than on the original, which may translate into “more robust” but it’s too early to tell.
Update: I have just purchased yet another of these because, although the new Kindles use a different type of lead (probably to please the EU and “avoid waste”) they turn out to be what currently-available Pentax K-70 cameras use as a data cable: some camera suppliers ship a much older type of USB cable for this model of camera and it ain’t what recent examples of the camera use, if any of them ever did! It seemed prudent to have a spare or two, just in case they become unavailable in the future as cameras have a MUCH longer working life than most personal digital devices! (So do Kindles, for that matter.)
